Tempest

Hello, I got your message, I am still new to this whole thing. I was wondering before changing any pages, if you thought, that Tempest (comics) page should be changed to Garth-Tempest or something, he was Aqualad and he deserves his own page of Garth/Tempest/Aqualad instead of sharing it with the first Tempest, and let him have his own page or part of the Doom Patrol's page. We've had talk about Tempest before, but I think if you wanted to move it, bring it up on the talk page there first and see what people think. HSM Trivia

I see what you're trying to do, I see some of them are fancruft from the pop-up edition. But I looked through the article and didn't find a lot of the trivia that is semi-notable, mainly

  • "This was the Disney Channel's most successful movie at its time with 7.7 million viewers in its premiere broadcast. The record was beaten by The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006) (TV), which attracted 8.3 million viewers on its premiere night." as that is important to show its popularity,
  • "Charles Klapow, one of the choreographers for the movie, was also one of the basketball dancers." as not many people who work behind the scenes often appear in the actual movies,
  • "Zac Efron's singing voice was that of composer Drew Seeley, who was also considered for the role. Seeley sang the entirety of "Get'cha Head in the Game" as well as composing it. He also sang the Reprise of "What I've Been Looking For". Efron only truly sings the first four sentences of "Start of Something New", the first sentence of "Breaking Free", and during the scene on the balcony. The reason for this is because Efron's natural voice is too low for that of a tenor and the producers preferred a tenor to match the role." as it reveals that Efron wasn't really singing, and possibly these 2 if they can be worked into it
  • " Hannah Montana premiered the same week as HSM. In two promotional commercials Ashley, Vanessa, and Zac appeared on the HM set with Miley Cyrus, Mitchel Musso, Emily Osment, and Jason Earles from HM. There was even a dance-off between the two sets of cast members."
  • "The Song "We're All in This Together" was performed (lip-synched) by the entire cast of the 2006 New Year's Eve Sing-a-Long Bowl-a-Thon with Corbin and Ashley leading the way. The other solo parts were taken by Brenda Song and Dylan Sprouse."

Ipstenu, I simply would ask for the courtesy of not being referred to is such a manner. Of course it is your talk page and both you and J_Greb are allowed to say whatever you'd like on such forums. However, philosophically I disagree with your point of view relating to "consensus" when there isn't majority support. I do agree when there is an overwhelming shift towards one side of a course of action. That's fair, insofar as it goes. However there has to a method by which editors can talk about other editors, to attempt to resolve issues without having to confront them head-on. How best to phrase this ... I haven't violated WP:CIV. I haven't done anything 'wrong' except possibly hurt your feelings by talking about the fact that your spat with J Greb on my talk page was a turning point in my decision to take a step back from the Grayson image discussion. Don't worry about my side of this. I didn't feel "dragged" into anything. Something on that talk page prompted me to articulate a feeling that had been forming but I hadn't expressed it on Wikipedia before. I actually understand Netkinetic's feeling something like, "Hey, why's Doczilla bringing up something from two weeks ago?" It was from two weeks ago to you folks. It was new to me and, like I said, prompted a thought I needed to express. Somebody may not have noticed the part where I acknowledged that those of you in the debate had moved past that point (or noticed but it magnified the puzzlement over my bringing it up). Reply to Everyone about this whole CIV thing

I don't believe I ever 'attacked' Netkinetic. I don't think I even started this. I talked to J Greb about something we agreed on and were TRYING to figure out how to address. This didn't happen. Doczilla mentioned the same thing J Greb and I had (using policy as an excuse) and I said 'yeah, that's why I'm trying to stay out of the discussion and appealing for help'. In retrospect? I should have shut up since obviously Netkinetic's touchy about the topic. Which is understandable. When he followed me to Doczilla's page, and started it up again, I decided to ask someone I respected for help on how to handle it, since it feels out of my league. And it's getting bigger every day. Am I being incivil? Well ... now I probably am being a bit bitchy, but I feel chased around all night and like I can't ask ANYONE to discuss the behavior of Netkinetic (specifically using policy as an excuse) which has now become a minor case of wikistalking. It's not against policy to talk to people about an issue with the intention of addressing and resolving it, but it becomes impossible to do so when you are accused of a personal attack every time you mention it. Did you think that the first time I should have just known what you were doing and what the source was? Note also that a source given ain an edit summary isn't enough; the summary will disappear from view; other editors (and readers) need something more permanent. I know that red links are okay and have restored many of them myself. When Cody Cameron's name is linked it isn't red it is blue but it DOES NOT link to an article for him. I don't understand. I found the site through Google. I've learned alot about the character from that site and yet I can't add a link? Sites that are only indirectly related to the article's subject: the link should be directly related to the subject of the article. A general site that has information about a variety of subjects should usually not be linked to from an article on a more specific subject. Similarly, a website on a specific subject should usually not be linked to an article about a general subject. If a section of a general website is devoted to the subject of the article, and meets the other criteria for linking, then that part of the site could be deep-linked. The links I provided was directly to the sections that went with the Article

I know there are other sections to the help, but when refering to link spam I think you guys, who know it all (not being smart, just stating that I realize you are supose to know more than I do when it comes to this) anyway.. you guys should look at the links I provided and see that it is not spam but a resource.

Sorry, I've been out of line. I should not have deleted anything. I did what you asked me to, I posted in the Talk pages and Doczilla said no because the site was advertising. Lists of episodes-clarification

My interpretation of your "page in a nutshell" banner is that lists of episodes should not contain dozens of screenshots, like one beside each episode. Can you confirm that this is the case, as I am about to get medieval on List of CSI: NY episodes. Editus Reloaded 18:44, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

CSI characters - dead or alive?

I have noticed that in List of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation characters and also your own user subpage draft of a minor characters list, you refer to Former Sheriff Brian Mobley as being dead. Is he? I can find no reference to his demise on an external source, so I'm applying the same logic as is applied to other minor characters who have not made a recent appearance: alive until proven dead. Ipstenu, I know I've stepped on your toes in the past, for which I do regret that this has occured. Although I have and will continue to make comments that challenge people to prove their ascertions and act in a cordial manner (something I myself struggle with online), I have truly worked the past few months on at least accepting consensus through the decision making process. Something I'd like feed back on...

I'm working on something with regard to Amphibian (comics), and potentially the rest of the related articles.

I've moved a copy of the article to User:J Greb/Pasteup while I'm working on it.

The upshot is, given the relatively short history of the characters, I'm trying to blend the PH and FCB into one section. Right now I've only gotten through the first character, but I'd like a few other editors to take a look and tell me if I'm onto something, blowing smoke, or somewhere in between.

Countdown crossover titles

I felt that putting the titles of DC comics that tied into the Countdown story was important as it is a crossover & every other crossover we have a list of comics, but I understand your point. It will be a lot of titles, but not every title will cross over into the series as of this week, Wonder Woman hasn't even tied into the series yet.

I'll just keep a personal list of tie-in issues as I have done with the rest of the crossovers.

Question Authority

What I referring to was the predicament the Question was in at the time. The Question was being tortured by Dr. Moon in the episode "Question Authority", and stumbled upon the video of the Justice Lords Superman killing President Luthor, and was tortured by Dr. Moon to reveal information. Instead of revealing that Superman killed Luthor in an alternate reality, He told Dr. Moon a number of conspiracy theories which he knew. Now I don't know about you, but despite being a conspiracy theorist, these statements are ambiguous in terms of his beliefs. He may actually believe that everything he told Dr. Moon is true, but then he may also just be trying to be uncooperative. Just to let you know. Please let me me know if you disagree. Uglyguy2006
