ThanksFor the speedy tag on the Bibith article. I was about to use A7 but your works just as well. FYI this will be the second time it is deleted. If it pops up a third time we may need to request that it be salted. Thanks again. MarnetteD|Talk 03:55, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

WikiProject X Newsletter • Issue 6Newsletter • January 2016
Hello there! Happy to be writing this newsletter once more. This month: What comes next
Some good news: the Wikimedia Foundation has renewed WikiProject X. This means we can continue focusing on making WikiProjects better. During our first round of work, we created a prototype WikiProject based on two ideas: (1) WikiProjects should clearly present things for people to do, and (2) The content of WikiProjects should be automated as much as possible. We launched pilots, and for the most part it works. But this approach will not work for the long term. While it makes certain aspects of running a WikiProject easier, it makes the maintenance aspects harder. We are working on a major overhaul that will address these issues. New features will include:
The end goal is a collaboration tool that can be used by WikiProjects but also by any edit-a-thon or group of people that want to coordinate on improving articles. Though implemented as an extension, the underlying content will be wikitext, meaning that you can continue to use categories, templates, and other features as you normally would. This will take a lot of work, and we are just getting started. What would you like to see? I invite you to discuss on our talk page.
Help me!
This is an anti-vandalism question, if an user is changing the height and weight of a living or dead person should I revert it? Thank you. In veritas (talk) 01:25, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

Suggest BotArticles you might like to edit, from SuggestBotSuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun! Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have. SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping. If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 06:34, 28 January 2016 (UTC) Pending changes reviewer grantedHello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages. Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Kim CrosbyUm, I'm not sure what was wrong with the edit that I made. All that I did was correct a spelling error. Thanks 173.67.173.65 (talk) 02:10, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
VerseandthevicesHi can you tell me what i need to do to my page so that it is not in the (speedy deletion) area? Thanks Verse And The Vices (talk) 05:44, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
rollbackHi In veritas. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Katietalk 16:24, 4 February 2016 (UTC) Welcome to STiki!
Note: Having a username change after you start using STiki will reset your classification count. Please let us know about such changes on the talk page page to avoid confusion in issuing milestone awards. You can also request for your previous STiki contributions to be reassigned to your new account name. Good faith? That's vandalism. If you check the page history, the user is removing content without any explanation and has received multiple warning. Your warning for this edit should have been a level 4. — LeoFrank Talk 13:42, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Infra(logo).pngThanks for uploading File:Infra(logo).png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:38, 15 February 2016 (UTC) Hi, I do not understand your revert, or your reference to WP:WIKICODE on Jish. What is relevant, surely, is WP:CITESHORT: most of the articles on places in Israel/Palestine follow that way of citation. And, as you can see, it is enough that the full citation is in the Bibliography-section (which it is). Please self-revert, thanks, Huldra (talk) 20:14, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

A question about my DR requestHello - Since you took at least a passing interest in my [DRN case] I thought i'd trouble you for some advice. Since I'm willing to do most anything to get this thing moving I have one question. If I get a UserName account, is there any problem with linking my new account with my IP number? If you think about it I'm the only person who can make my case so there really is no need to worry about somebody trying to impersonate me.I keep thinking that adding yet another case name to the list of names might make things more confusing. And I think the dispute can be fairly easily resolved once the other editor comes to the table is forced to explain himself and at least listen to my points. __209.179.22.107 (talk) 04:40, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
Normally I would answer your previous message (04:17, 24 February 2016) on my Talk page but I'm answering it here in order to keep everything close together. If you will hold off on closing the DRN, I'll go ahead an post my 2 cents worth at the DRN, and maybe RKLawton will see it and finally respond. It's worth a shot, even if it means I finally realize where I'm wrong. __Camino 2-1-2 (talk) 22:48, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

This month: One database for Wikipedia requests
Development of the extension for setting up WikiProjects, as described in the last issue of this newsletter, is currently underway. No terribly exciting news on this front. In the meantime, we are working on a prototype for a new service we hope to announce soon. The problem: there are requests scattered all across Wikipedia, including requests for new articles and requests for improvements to existing articles. We Wikipedians are very good at coming up with lists of things to do. But once we write these lists, where do they end up? How can we make them useful for all editors—even those who do not browse the missing articles lists, or the particular WikiProjects that have lists? Introducing Wikipedia Requests, a new tool to centralize the various lists of requests around Wikipedia. Requests will be tagged by category and WikiProject, making it easier to find requests based on what your interests are. Accompanying this service will be a bot that will let you generate reports from this database on any wiki page, including WikiProjects. This means that once a request is filed centrally, it can syndicated all throughout Wikipedia, and once it is fulfilled, it will be marked as "complete" throughout Wikipedia. The idea for this service came about when I saw that it was easy to put together to-do lists based on database queries, but it was harder to do this for human-generated requests when those requests are scattered throughout the wiki, siloed throughout several pages. This should especially be useful for WikiProjects that have overlapping interests. The newsletter this month is fairly brief; not a lot of news, just checking in to say that we are hard at work and hope to have more for you soon. Until next time, Harej (talk) 01:44, 24 February 2016 (UTC) Note at COM:ANThanks for your note at Commons:COM:AN regarding the images uploaded by Digits21. I've deleted all of them, except for File:Multi-tier1.jpg — it's a reasonable illustration of a video-storage device, but the rest are rather useless except for advertising, and one of them even incorporated a large Google Maps screenshot. Nyttend (talk) 01:17, 27 February 2016 (UTC) Bobble Joe Cavnar FixedThis was my first edit, I only put the information in as a place holder until I was going to rewrite it. I removed the Content and added sources for birth and death. I will write the information in my own words and reference the sources. Thank you for pointing it out.
