Problem with Wikipedia:Emailing usersIn Wikipedia:Help desk/Archives/2014 April 11#Problem with Wikipedia:Emailing users you didn't mention you mail provder but if it's Yahoo then you are probably hit by the problem at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive 125#Wikipedia email not working when I send but works when others send to me. It's also mentioned at DMARC#History. We may have to update our email help pages. Some mail providers still allow Yahoo mail from other servers than Yahoo's own. My Danish mail provider may be one of them. My advice is still to try another mail provider, especially if you have Yahoo. PrimeHunter (talk) 10:05, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Regards, --Igorp_lj (talk) 22:04, 6 July 2015") ...Sure, his comments were almost impossible to understand, poorly structured and poorly sourced. The FAQ should not be a discussion, but a consensual position reflecting the views of the editors who are discussing at the talk page. See the banner I added, which explains it. Removed your precious ITIC garbage addition (@The kyle 3)Considering that the article in question is about Israeli strikes and Palestinian casualties during last year's attack on the Gaza Strip by Israel, and not about the whiny piddling and excuse-making of pro-Israel and IDF-apologist "think tanks" trying to defend a 65-70% civilian death rate through lying. I see that you exhibit a lot of the worst traits of the obnoxiously pro-Israel Wikipedia editor-- for example your wailing over the single Israeli child killed last summer while shamelessly ignoring the 400-500 children killed by Israel. Even more rationale for me to revert your "additions". The kyle 3 (talk) 17:37, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

BBC or MFAIt seems to have been discussed years ago so there was a consensus. If you actually want to make a change, you should focus on the new case at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Palestine-Israel articles 3/Evidence. Settleman (talk) 18:31, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
Palestine-Israel articles 3/EvidencePlease rewrite your evidence so that it is more general and not focussed on any specific editor. I've already made it clear to another editor that they need to do this and if they don't it will be done by someone else. There are no parties to this case. We are interested in the general issues and although hopefully we can revise the existing remedies to improve the area, we won't be sanctioning any editors. Thanks. Doug Weller (talk) 17:54, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Regarding.....my welcome of Settleman: yes, I would say that was absolutely correct in this case. Have you looked at his first edits? His *very* first edit was the creation of a new article! ..In a very controversial area, no less. Now, how many new editors do that? And I´m answering your question here, as I don´t want to "clutter" arb.com evidence page, with things that *really* don´t belong there, Cheers, Huldra (talk) 00:05, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

You certainly do not "have" to restore a comment once it has been removed by the owner, they certainly have read it and apparently decided not to reply. HelloHi there. Just wanted to drop you a line and say good work on the list of violent incidents page. I know from personal experience how hard it is with all the incessant harassment and subtle source falsification. If you happen to see obvious distortion of sources, please let me know on my talk page (I mean really obvious stuff, like turning "some" into "most" or "black" into "white", stuff that can't be argued about). My dissertation will look at the process of collaborative knowledge production on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the effect it has on bias in the articles. This will involve understanding the profiles and motivations of editors, contention/controversy and dispute resolution in the talk pages, and bias in the final article. For more information, you can check out my meta-wiki research page or my user page, where I will be posting my findings when I am done. I would greatly appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to fill out this quick survey before 8 August 2021. Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous.
