User talk:Ibne.adhiDo not remove tags like {{pov}}, {{copyedit}}, etc without fixing the problemGreetings, do not remove warning tags unless you resolve the issue. You have been removing tags from articles which are still clearly biased, or have many errors in organization and/or grammar. MatthewVanitas (talk) 18:03, 1 November 2009 (UTC) Greetings, I'll quote below just a few examples of phrases which would have to be revised to remove bias:
Again, I'm not saying that the above are wrong or lies, simply that other intelligent people could easily disagree with them, as as a neutral source of knowledge Wikipedia should report only the facts, and let individual readers decide what is good and bad. It is fine to say "Tom Smith's funeral was attended by 10,000 people, and was a front-page story in the New York Times." But it is not acceptable to say "Tom Smith was a wonderful man who was loved all over the world." Makes sense? Feel free to write if you have any questions about making the article more neutral, which is essential to maintaining it's international credibility. Response to Thanwi criticismGreetings, I've posted a response at Talk:Ashraf_Ali_Thanwi#Contested_.22Criticism.22_section:, since this issue is probably good for broader discussion, and also to make sure any agreement is public so that other editors (who haven't seen our individual discussions) don't just re-create the debate. Welcome
{{helpme}}Greetings, I was just wondering that how can I quote Quran template, as I have seen on a page it was quoted and linked to the external page for a translation, if I want to quote translation directly from True Quran Project, how could I insert in an article. --Ibne Adhi (talk) 21:36, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Regarding edits on SalahHello, and pardon me for not making my edit summary explanatory enough! To elaborate, the conclusion drawn by the original text was unsourced to begin with, and unless it is sourced soon will likely be deleted. Your inclusion of the quotation from Sahih Muslim would have been entirely appropriate if it were referenced in the cited source, but as there was no cited source it instead simply became ad-hoc primary source justification for improper synthesis. Furthermore, the quote from a non-english source contains no notes on translation, which almost invariably leads to people who believe it to be translated differently complaining in the talk page that "This is translated wrong! It actually means this!" Thus making it material likely to be challenged, which should in accordance with our guidelines be sourced to begin with. I hope that explains it sufficiently, don't hesitate to write back if you have further questions! Sincerely, Peter Deer (talk) 14:32, 14 November 2009 (UTC) {{Helpme}}I want to add, criticism on the article Ashraf Ali Thanwi, and want to add actual context of his Fatwa which he gave, since there are few controversial Fatwa are related to him, and without quoting the actual text, one cannot get the actual idea, why Ahmad Raza Khan imposed fatwa of Kufr upon Thanvi. I have been discussing with MatthewVanitas, but he is not allowing me to add the such context, I am afraid why neutral point of view is not been appreciated by Wiki Team, and removing my context after being neutral is considered to vandalism. Appreciate your help in this regards --Ibne Adhi (talk) 11:38, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Durood-e-Tunajjina.pngThanks for uploading File:Durood-e-Tunajjina.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:25, 21 November 2009 (UTC). A tag has been placed on Muhammad Muslehuddin Siddiqui requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here.
