Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Yazid I, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Israr Ahmed (disambiguation)

Your change which you claim to be MOS:DAB compliant is actually the opposite. I have started a discussion at Talk:Israr Ahmed (disambiguation)#Adherence to manual of style. Please explain how what you did meets with the manual of style there. -- Whpq (talk) 03:20, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Iamsanatani! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Israr Ahmed (disambiguation) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Israr Ahmed (disambiguation), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. TJRC (talk) 03:54, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Hyderabad Deccan railway station. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 18:26, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Kumbha Mela. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon I do not understand why you think that a table in the article on the Kumbh Mela that shows in which year different events take place in different cities is an "empty part". You have to click "show" to see it though. This is what it looks like if you click "show":

Though it invisible here, it was NOT visible inthat article... Hence i removed with explanatory comment.Iamsanatani (talk) 12:10, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You see in the table heading next to Ujjain it says [hide]. In the version in the article, in the same place it says [show]. This is a standard feature than can be enabled in Wikipedia tables. If it is hidden, and you click on [show], the full table is displayed. If it is not hidden, and you click on [hide], then most of the table is hidden, leaving on the headings.
And, yes, your edit summary was very helpful. -- Toddy1 (talk) 12:52, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
