WellI missed it. Another opportunity to spam some pages with crazy stuff wasted. Damn! Sorry about the late response it's been hectic down here. It's really nice now, the seasons are just changing, green is blooming back and my Hay-Fever is playing up.

RfA RevisitedHello there. I took your advice, waited a few more weeks, and did some more work as you suggested. I could not get everything done you recommended. This is not to curry your vote, but to inform you, that I have taken the plunge. Bearian 20:31, 20 September 2007 (UTC) Admin coaching, againHey Husond, I just wanted to tell you that DHMO will be co-coaching with you (if you don't mind, that is) and that the page is located here. Your userpage :)Hey Husond, I just realised that my userpage sucks in IE...just like yours :p So I stole your disclaimer text and put it on mine, along with an alternate IE version. Just letting you know so you don't send masses of crazy ducks to attack me...You never know WHAT Husond will do next! Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) 01:51, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

It's Been A Long TimeI am Payne2thamax you blocked my months ago but an administrator named CanadienCaesar reblocked me and I have remained blocked. Ceasar hasnt edited a page since april and now I'm ready for a comeback. I'm done with User:Kemor, if I see him and when I do I won't get into another edit war. Do you think that I can finally get unblocked, I'm legit. And plus if you look at the comments Kemor has left in his edit summaries, you will notice that he has a history of verbally assaulting other users and yet he has only been blocked for three days. Please man, I need too make things right, I want to comeback and edit. Payne2thamax —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.84.67.77 (talk) 21:54, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
You protected Ricardo Quaresma on July 28. Its edit history shows that there have only been about 10 edits in a month. Do you think it is ready to be unprotected? I would ask at WP:RFPP but thought i would ask you first. Thanks Woodym555 16:06, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
corrections to my userpageThanks. Maybe I could explain the differences between EP and BP. Thanks so much for helping out. It's awesome. learnportuguese 17:40, 25 September 2007 (UTC) Thanks for the corrections. No, it wasn't that I prefer Brazilian Portuguese over European Portuguese. I had just written what I had heard. learnportuguese 17:51, 25 September 2007 (UTC) I'm not trying to offend you or anything. I am just a beginner so half of what I wrote was probably wrong anyway. I was not trying to be prejudiced toward European Portuguese. I think both are equally valid versions of the language. You have to think in terms of history and evolution of languages. That's how I think of Portuguese. Just as Brazilian culture differs from European culture, so the way people speak also differs. English English isn't any better than American English; they're just different, and that's OK, right? :) Thanks for adding the information. It was really helpful. I'm learning so much! :) learnportuguese 00:21, 26 September 2007 (UTC) By the way, I was trying to use more formal language because when I first go the Portugal or Brasil or wherever, I won't know anyone, so it's best to start a little more formally. That's why I used sua and fala. That's all..... I wasn't trying to offend anyone. :) learnportuguese 00:21, 26 September 2007 (UTC) Um, well, did n't you change Qual é a sua opinião? yourself earlier? That was incorrect? :) Don't worry, I'm not angry, just curious. learnportuguese 00:25, 26 September 2007 (UTC) I was pretty sure you hadn't been offended, but I wanted to be completely sure. That's why I said that. Again, I'm being educated so much. This is the power of the Internet. learnportuguese 00:38, 26 September 2007 (UTC) Re: your messageI just received a message and you stating that I might have "vandalized" some page; i find it hard to believe; as I was out all day yesterday doing a lot of preparations for a trip and didn't even get home till late. Bearian 13:22, 28 September 2007 (UTC) PortugueseHow would you say that you're very particular about pronouncing Portuguese? I'll need to know that so people don't think I'm trying to make fun of them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Learnportuguese (talk • contribs) 14:24, 28 September 2007 (UTC) Sorry if I confused you. What I mean to say is a lot of people want to speak English. But I want to speak Portuguese. So I don't want people to think I'm trying to be disrespectful by trying to speak their language. Having good pronunciation (for me anyway) is a sign that I have respect for the other cultures because I am making an honest effort to learn the language. I am showing that I am open-minded. Plus the better pronunciation I have, the easier it will be for native Portuguese speakers to understand me. I hope that was clearer. :) I want to learn Portuguese well, so I practice my pronunciation a lot. I get very frustrated with myself when I get the pronunciation wrong. learnportuguese 15:41, 28 September 2007 (UTC) One thing I find really hard to master in Portuguese is how to write the words why and because. I know they are almost the same. Is there a way I can remember to tell them apart? learnportuguese 16:24, 28 September 2007 (UTC) That's cool I think to ask "Porque é que...?" Doesn't that mean "Why is that...?"? learnportuguese 17:27, 28 September 2007 (UTC) Hi--Hirohisat Kiwi has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. abroadYeah, but I WANT to learn Portuguese. :) That's the beauty of it. I think to speak English would be lazy of me. Like I said, I'm trying to show respect for the other cultures. Since I want to be a radio journalist, I will want to interview people for stories. It would be convenient for me to be able to talk with them in Portuguese. Then they wouldn't have to use English. They could just say things naturally. learnportuguese 18:35, 3 October 2007 (UTC) Hi, are you certain there's not a place called this? In the north of Portugal? I seem to remember reading something about Hevia having played there. I have his 1st CD.... Bye. If you have any trouble reading this, I'll gladly translate it. Septrya 21:32, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Please, could you explain the fact that, as I have raised in this discussion, searching for the title with google, eliminating Wikipedia and its mirrors, returns a single result, which is irrelevent anyway, whereas searching for GRAU (using "missile" as a qualifier) returns 46,700 results. WP:NC states that the most commonly used name should be used, and I believe that this is GRAU. It's the same with NASA. The acronym is used as the title because it is far more commonly used. I am posting this here as the discussion will probably close today, and I would like you to be able to review your comment quickly, before the discussion closes, if you wish to do so in light of new evidence. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 07:14, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
RfA ThanksThanks, and a requestThank you for protecting Blood Brothers (comics), at which one editor with a long history of contentious editing (Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics/Request for comment/Asgardian) was consistently going against consensus, formatting style, etc. It's happening again at Speed Demon (Marvel Comics). You can see here that editors User:Emperor, User:J Greb, User:ThuranX and myself all agree with User:Doczilla's edit-proposal, and User:Asgardian continues to ignore consensus and basically continue to do whatever he wants, often with misleading edit summaries (see J Greb note here. The Dark KnightHi, I was wondering if you could unprotect The Dark Knight (film). I was going to file a request at WP:RFPP, but I saw the disclaimer to contact the admin who last protected the page, which appears to be you. There was a complaint at Talk:The Dark Knight (film) about the protection (not assuming good faith to boot), and I think enough time has passed to warrant unprotection. I think the original issue was due to a flood of anonymous IPs swooping in to add unverifiable information around the time of Comic-Con, so this time has passed. Let me know if you are able to do unprotect. Thanks! —Erik (talk • contrib) - 12:39, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
