Is it really a cultural reference? It's just a plot point to me, they visit a real life locale. They do so many times in episodes. I just didn't see the extra value of knowing that this time, they didn't make up the name. Alastairward (talk) 10:31, 25 March 2009 (UTC) The Coon reviewSure, I don't mind. Delievered by SoxBot II (talk) at 19:08, 6 April 2009 (UTC) Damien (South Park)Hello. I have added a few changes to the article you were working on. So far, all I did was basic clean-up and minor improvements to the article. It appears to be almost-ready for GA status. I justed wanted to hear a second opinion about the article. Also I'd like to point out a few issues with the article; the 'Home video release' and 'Cultural references' sections seem to be a tad short in length compared to the rest of the article. Should I merge the cultural references section with the theme section? Cheers, —Alastor Moody 06:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't think that we jump to conclusions quickly, but after seeing that you have added a lot of info that comes close to meeting most of the FA criteria, I want to make a few suggestions as to how we should deal with the article when its done.
These are simply my ideas as to what to do. I won't press you do follow my suggestions. If you don't agree with my suggestions, I'll just forget about them. Either way is fine with me though. :) —Alastor Moody 06:58, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Fishsticks (South Park)Hello. I know you probably wouldn't prefer me to review nominated GA articles, however due to the increasing backlog at WP:GAN and that you nominated have 7 articles waiting for reviews, I'd decided to give a helping hand to just one of them. I gave a review to the Fishsticks episode here. I think you should go and take a look there. I was going to work on it a few months ago but I got bored of it and ditched it. Nergaal (talk) 14:58, 22 April 2009 (UTC) Damien (South Park)Hi, I left a comment at the review. It was the best I felt I could add, I see your point (and theirs too I suppose). I would echo your suggestion that the images don't really do well in any TV article, when you've seen the moving image or you're talking about one that you haven't seen, a picture doesn't really cut it. The comments left in support of two example images given on the review page seemed (to me) to be important not because of the image itself, but of the moment in the show that it is taken from. Grabbing a frame, to me does not imply a greater understanding. I would give it support if I could, but I thought it best to weigh in with whatever opinion I could best support in writing, which was to say that at the very least, your image was no less important than the others. Hopefully that will stir opinion somewhat.
