Development of Hanyu's page series@Yolo4A4Lo, ErnestKrause, and Marika yuzu: Now that we plan to brush up Hanyu's main bios page, I've made some brainstorming regarding the possible development of his professional career, and with that the expansion and mainenance of his page series here on Wikipedia. I expect him to produce more shows like Continues with Wings or Prologue over the next years, and with the new membership system on his YouTube channel he will probably upload more content there as well. So the section about his professional career will likely blow up within the next years (no matter how much we try to condense it). My suggestion for a flexible expansion of his page series is that we create another sub-page about his self-produced shows with the title "Ice shows produced by Yuzuru Hanyu" or something similar. This has the advantage that we can compile summaries of his shows there, even if they have different names, and give each one its own section. If the page blows up in ten years or so, it can be split anytime. I also suggest to create the draft during Prologue, collect all sources and compile the most important infos as long as the memories are fresh. This would relieve the pro-section on his bios page from the beginning. So his page series would look like this:
I think, this would cover all important topics and sufficiently unburden his main bios, at least for the next decade. It definitely has the potential to become a really great series, maybe also get promoted to a featured topic. I will record a spoken version of the Olympic seasons article this week. If you agree with the structure above, I will also set up a draft for the ice show sub-page that can be expanded during Prologue and moved to the mainspace, when the shows in Hachinohe in December are finished. Hello Henni147, thank you for all your work and happy Pro Yuzuru Anniversary! If Yuzuru Hanyu's modelling activities are likely to be developed in his Wikipedia series, this Oricon article is the only one where I read the non-official nickname "Bamboo Prince" mentioned (as coined by fans) for the celebrated SEKKISEI Miyabi photo shoot in light green kimono: https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2336682/ October 2022
Thank you today for the article, done in collaboration, "about the mens ice skating champion Yuzuru Hanyu's Olympic seasons. He has recently retired from competition and completed his career of competing at the Olympics; this article covers his medal winning three appearances at the Olympics."! ... and then I forgot to sign. Preciousfantasy on ice Thank you for quality articles around figure-skating, such as Yuzuru Hanyu Olympic seasons, Fantasy on Ice, List of career achievements by Yuzuru Hanyu, for creating a task force Yuzuru Hanyu, for reviewing and working in collaboration, - Henni, you are an awesome Wikipedian! The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add On Yuzuru on WikiHi, Henni. I finally have a free time between job and IRL to message you. I have done a lot of thinking lately. Given how little the time I have for these past months that I unable to update Wikipedia except for the quick updates, how you have established the Yuzuru task force with a number of people in it, and I have other subjects that only have myself as the regular editor and they need real-time updates as well, I think it will be better if I step back from the development of the current Yuzuru articles now. I would only delay the progress for the team given my sporadic free time. Of course, I will always welcome you and other members of the task force to ping me or to go to my task page if you need some suggestions, opinion to solve dispute, or need a co-nominator or review for GA or FA, etc. and I'll still watch over the articles to prevent vandalism and do quick copy-edits. You have flourished as a Wikipedia editor, and I think you even have wider knowledge on Wikipedia now. It's very wonderful to witness. So, I hope you'll understand. (My only request is to co-nominate the main article to FA when the time comes if it's okay with you? Thank you) - Yolo4A4Lo (talk) 09:43, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Links to user pages and sandboxesPlease do not introduce links in actual articles to user pages or sandboxes, as you did at Yuzuru Hanyu and Ice shows produced by Yuzuru Hanyu. Since these pages have not been accepted as articles, user pages, sandboxes and drafts are not suitable for linking in articles. and such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. DYK for Ice shows produced by Yuzuru HanyuOn 4 February 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ice shows produced by Yuzuru Hanyu, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that with his self-produced solo ice show Gift, two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu is expected to become the first ice skater to perform at the Tokyo Dome? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ice shows produced by Yuzuru Hanyu. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Ice shows produced by Yuzuru Hanyu), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. BorgQueen (talk) 00:02, 4 February 2023 (UTC) Ice shows FACHenni, so sorry about this failed FAC. I'm inclined to state that it's yet another instance of the higher scrutiny fs articles commonly experience, but I think that the reviewers had a point, at least about it needing a copyedit. Anyway, I made these points at its FAC, as you'll see. Had to be said, ya know? Best going forward, let me know how I can help as always. I'm thinking about submitting Robert Jones (artilleryman) to GAC, since he's kind of important in fs history. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 17:50, 14 March 2023 (UTC) One more thing: you might want to submit this to GAC first; it's not required that articles are promoted to GA before FA, but nominators at FAC value that it's been done. GAC takes horribly long due to its long queue, but it'll give you time to work on it more and get additional feedback. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 18:22, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
Yuna KimHi Henni, I finally noticed that you removed the sources I had added to the Detailed results in Yuna's bio. I was asked to add the sources here Talk:Yuna Kim/Archive 1#Potential split and here Talk:Yuna Kim/Archive 1#Potential split (cont.). So I wondered why you did that. At any rate, I've restored the sources. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 16:47, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
Different requestHi again Henni, now for something completely different. ;) I'm helping a fellow editor with a draft (Draft:Ulrike E. Auga), through the other WikiProject I'm involved in, WikiProject Women in Religion. Auga is a German academic; I thought that since you know and move about in German WP, that you might be a good resource for assistance. There are all kinds of problems with this draft. It was created by a relatively inexperienced editor, who got it translated from German WP. My biggest concern is that the subject is probably not notable enough for English WP and since I don't know German, I'm unable to evaluate the sources or find other sources that would support her notability. If you're not able to assist, I understand; you're pretty busy. Thanks, Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 17:12, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

I am updating this article with the Figure skating detailed results template. Look at the 2007-08 season: would small medals have been awarded for the CD as well as the OD and FD? Bgsu98 (Talk) 14:52, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
