This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia. I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in! From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community. If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org. Thank you! --User:Martin Urbanec (talk) 21:58, 23 November 2019 (UTC) Global watchlist - Update 4Updates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script:

Per WP:OWNTALK the page owner is allowed to blank his or her talk page with only very limited exceptions. Active block notices are not one of the exceptions. I have received a grant from the WMF to develop this script into an extension. As a result, I do not plan on any further developments being made to the user script. Please see the grant page for more information. Those interested in reviewing and providing feedback for the extension should follow the new phabricator board, phabricator:tag/mediawiki-extensions-globalwatchlist.
Many thanks to those that have contributed translations for the script's messages. Now that I am working on an extension, translation has migrated to translatewiki. Please see:

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter messageGlobal watchlist - Update 8Updates associated with DannyS712's Global watchlist script and the Global watchlist extension: As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started. I do not plan on any further developments being made to the user script. I have released version 9.1.0 to both the dev and stable versions, which includes a notification about the extension being available when you use the user script. You can dismiss the notification, and the script still works, but it will no longer be maintained. Those interested in providing feedback for the extension should use the phabricator board, phabricator:tag/mediawiki-extensions-globalwatchlist. Any bug reports about the extension should be filed there. This will likely be the last update sent to this list. As I noted in the last issue, I received a grant last year from the WMF to develop the global watchlist script into an extension. That extension has now been deployed on Meta. Visit m:Special:GlobalWatchlistSettings to get started. That grant has ended, and I have requested another grant to continue development of the extension, and figured subscribers of the newsletter about the user script might be interested. You can see and comment on the grant request at m:Grants:Project/DannyS712/Continued work on GlobalWatchlist extension - if you support this, I hope you'll consider endorsing the request. ArbCom 2021 Elections voter messageTest only-accountWould you happen to know the LTA this user might fall under? This would definitely help in trying to submit a WP:SPI report against them or reporting as an LTA on an Admin noticeboard. Jalen Folf (talk) 05:17, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter messageHello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add Unblock requestHello. I submitted an unblock request, after you blocked the underlying IP of my school. For some reason, this blocks me from editing despite having an account, while at school. The IP is 209.66.197.30. Could you please help accelerate the block exemption process? Paul Vaurie (talk) 20:01, 20 December 2022 (UTC) IPBE on metaJust realised that I couldn't edit on meta too, I already have global IPBE and on the English Wikipedia. hi@HasleyWhat do you think of my new firm, Regards Sandman Black ¡EXIT LIGHT ENTER NIGHT! 22:29, 25 March 2023 (UTC) Blocatge general a MallorcaBon dia, Hasley. Gràcies a l'avançada. Paucabot (talk) 09:02, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
