Welcome to Wikipedia. When writing articles on songs and such, there's no need to add the parenthetical disambiguation to the article title if there's not already (or should be) an article under the basic name. That's the only reason we do it: so that when we have, for example, a gang of articles on Joy, each one can have its own name space. I've moved both "I'll Be in Trouble" and "The Girl's Alright with Me", and added categories as well. Thanks and have fun editing. --FuriousFreddy (talk) 21:00, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
HeyHi, I am going to talk to PeterSymonds right now. He has been helping with this problem on TDI/A pages, and even Dancing with the Stars, which was being used for predictions. Even though I have been a user for about a month, I am going to ask if I could be a rollback, I mean I am definitely responsible, and it would be easier to help others with that power!!! I understand the line from the movie, The Incredibles: "I feel like the maid. I just cleaned up this mess. Can we keep it clean??? For 10 MINUTES!!!" (In reference to ridding the world of villians/crime. Trying my best to do it. Thanks for listening to my rant, LOL!- TDI19 (talk) 22:48, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
The Total Drama Action ArticleWell, I just checked it, and everything seems to be in its correct place and position. The only thing that I saw that may have been out of place (or "not released to public") was Courtney being on the tables. Though, that has been released to the public courtesy of Cake Entertainment; everything else looks fine. -Bbhinton15 (talk) 20:06, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Hey! I am now a rollback, which means if someone makes tons of vandalism edits, I can revert all of them with one click. I will be making sure that whoever just messed up the article, and in the future, whoever does, will be banned from Wikipedia for I honestly don't care how long. I don't care if they are infinitely banned. This user also vandalized Bbhinton15's user page, by calling him gay.- TDI19 (talk) 23:37, 21 March 2009 (UTC) Hey...Thanks for telling me. I haven't been on my page here in a while; so that's why I didn't notice it right away. Wish i could report him/her or something. -Bbhinton15 (talk) 01:17, 28 March 2009 (UTC) It is really starting to get annoying, with the vandalism.... *sigh* If people want to write fanfiction, there is a wikia for that. I invite you to the Total Drama Wiki. There is a link at the bottom of the TDI page. Just look for me, TDI19, there. I am an admin and featured user! SMC (talk) 05:20, 30 November 2009 (UTC) Hi, Halls. I'm very interested in songs written by H-D-H as I think they're the best songwriters ever, with their music being listened to more than that of even Lennon-McCartney, who are also amongst my favorites. Most of the time right after I log-in to WP, I check the H-D-H songs category to see if there's anything new, or changed. This is how I came into contact with "A Tear..", another page you created. I know we already have Motown Records discography, though I think that's incomplete. I think about tableising it sometimes, but was going to ask input from you and Furious Freddy about it first. All my favorite Supremes songs happened to be written by this trio. After "Forever Came Today", they were really more like Diana Ross & the Andantes up through her last song with them. I usually intend to follow Diana's musical direction over that of the new Supremes, though I did The Supremes timeline for consistancy. Any thoughts, drop me a line! Hey Thanks,Anon! Willgee here! I want to let you know your Miracles reviews are GREAT! Also thanks for giving me permission to provide links for them . I will write articles soon for The Miracles' songs, Ain't It Baby, Broken Hearted,"A Love She Can Count On", "Happy Landing" and (You Cant Let The Boy Overpower) The Man in You. I see that you've already written articles on two of these. I still haven't written articles for several of the group's post 1967 songs, like "Who's Gonna Take The Blame" , "Satisfaction",and "We've Come Too Far To End It Now", but , I want to finish the earlier songs first. A request: Can you please consider doing reviews on more of The Contours'songs ? I just finished writing one on their Smokey Robinson composed "B" side hit, That Day When She Needed Me , and it's hit "A" side Can You Jerk Like Me . I'd like to (and will),write more soon, but The Contours' relative obscurity compared to other first generation Motown groups means reviews of their songs are few and far between. Any help you can give will be welcome . Thanks again, Willgee (Willgee (talk) 13:31, 22 April 2010 (UTC))

Hi Halls, I've worked a bit on this fixing up the singles, now all that's left is to move the entire albums section (its in the wrong place) ahead of the singles section and work on those. That's gonna take a lot of work and time. Best, --Discographer (talk) 23:06, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi, Halls! Can you click on this please, and check out in the Compilation albums section the 1985 album Dance Songs. It shows that this album was released by K-Tel (of France), when all the other albums we have listed are by either Motown, RCA or EMI, all three of which Diana was contracted to. She was never contracted by K-Tel, and if this album gets to stay in the discography, then I fear that many more non-official compilation albums will turn up here. Best, --Discographer (talk) 23:48, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi, Halls... according to this article (of which I remember when you created it), "A Tear from a Woman's Eyes" ...would be the first of only two times H-D-H would produce any material for The Temptations, ...who would also later cover The Vandellas' "I'm Ready for Love", which was not produced by H-D-H. So, what is the name of that second song which H-D-H produced for The Temptations? Was it "Just One Last Look", which H-D-H wrote? Best, --Discographer (talk) 14:40, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Just wanted to let you know that I've just created some templetes for The Miracles: Template:The Miracles Template:The Miracles singles There maybe a few things on both that'll need improvement, but at least it's a start. Hi, Halls... Yesterday I was going to ask Buzz/Moxy about turning this into a portal, until I found that he said (here on your talk page) that it needs lots more references, so I stopped short on that. When the time comes, I think both of these should be in the same (Miracles) portal. I know The Miracles discography needs worked on, as well as the templates; also, Smokey needs a discography page and templates created. I'd like to see The Temptations, Four Tops, and The Vandellas turned into portals, too, but Moxy says they need lots of references also. I want to begin work on Smokey if you might contunue on with The Miracles, and we could help one another out on each of these, if you don't mind. I don't know why Moxy hasn't created The Jacksons portal yet. It's good and ready to go! Best, --Discographer (talk) 21:23, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Great job on The Miracles' templates, Halls! It really helps in establishing a musical history and well-deserved importance on the group. The Miracles have been the Rodney Dangerfields of Motown. They dont get enough respect. Despite this, they are the single most important act to ever walk through Motown's doors. They were the label's first act, the first singer-songwriters,had the first Gold Record, and were the only Motown act that had a consistant string of hit records covering the first 5 years of the label's existance.Their hits virtually kept the label alive from it's formation in 1959-1964, yet many people today tend to give more credit to the Motown artists that came after The Miracles. (particularly the Temptations and Supremes,) due to their bigger pop success. Some of these naysayers (the RRHOF Induction Comittee, in particular), have even gone so far as to deny them entry into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. But,I was present in Hollywood on March 20th, 2009,when The Miracles recieved their long-overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.(and videotaped the entire event, I might add) I was there when "The Chairman" himself, Motown founder Berry Gordy Jr. said: "without The Miracles, Motown would not be the Motown it is today. Who would know better than him, since he ,and they, were there from the beginning. Then I realized that, part of the reason the Miracles have been ignored all these years, is because no one had ever taken the time to write a detailed history of this group and their many ground-breaking accomplishments in the music industry. So about 3 years ago, I started doing research, contributing info of what I personally knew about the group with the facts I had learned later. I think now people are finally realizing something that Miracles fans had known all along: The Miracles should have been enshrined into the RRHOF over 2 decades ago. Also, I meant to ask you: is there any chance that more of the Miracles album covers can be displayed on their respective Wikipedia sites ? (such as Renaissance, since Wikipedia already has a free image of it? Also the group's "1957-1972", "Flying High Together", "I Like It Like That", and "The Miracles:Depend On Me (the early Albums) I have provided links to the album covers on the articles I wrote, but to have them displayed with the articles is even better. Again, many thanks for your help. It is greatly appreciated !-Willgee (talk)Willgee (talk) 22:57, 31 March 2010 (UTC) . Hi,Halls! Willgee here. an unknown editor seems to be going to great lengths to remove Marv Tarplin from inclusion in The Miracles' legacy, despite the fact that Motown Records'original liner notes on The Miracles' first 4 albums all list him as an original group member. I don't know if it's a personal issue or not, but there is far more evidence verifying his membership in the Miracles , than this editor's insistance that he is not. This person always uses the term "some sources". I wouldn't exactly call that verifiable. This editor may or may not have a personal grudge against Mr Tarplin, but, again ,Marv's name has been , and still is ,indelibly linked with The Miracles , and his contributions to the group were monumental. In the Miracles 2006 "Definitive Performances" DVD , Smokey himself acknowledges Marv as a member of the group, and as recently as in the 2009 Motown release, The Miracles-Depend On Me:The Early Albums (2009) Marv is still acknowledged as an original Miracles member (not to mention even pictured on the cover). Despite this , this person keeps deleting his name from The Miracles ' Wikipedia article for reasons unknown.Maybe someone ought to give this person a Motown History book. All The Best - ----Willgee (talk)
Hi, Halls ...Willgee here. Yeah, I wish she'd stop. I've put a lot of time and research in compiling The Miracles' history, and it's really annoying to have someone come along and vandalize your work. Where was she (or he) when I was compiling all of this info ? She made no effort whatsoever to help me when I was originally putting it together,But now she deletes it every few days, and puts her own spin on the article.... with no verifiable sources except his or her own word. Is there anything you can do ? ----Willgee (talk) Thanks for the message Halls. I'm trying to figure out what to do next, there's so much to choose from! I wanted to turn this into a discography page, but the Marvelettes released so few albums - the only way it'd work is by their singles. I'm not going to bother for now, unless someone else does, that's great! I might work on it sometime in the near future if no one already has. I think that a portal should be made for Marvin Gaye this coming Thursday, as you already know, this Thursday and Friday are his "anniversary" dates. Maybe Brotha Timothy will persuade Moxy to do this. Best, --Discographer (talk) 14:07, 28 March 2010 (UTC) H-D-H songs listThose two Michael Jackson songs from 1975 aren't really H-D-H songs, as Lamont Dozier had already split a year-and-a-half earler. If they're included, then the five 1970s "New" Supremes singles written by the Holland brothers should also be included. What do you say? Best, --Discographer (talk) 23:58, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
Hi Halls, I have a question??? On "Mother Dear", infobox shows as its B-side "He Holds His Own" (which can be verified as Motown single #1080 - which was then cancelled, and is definately true) and also shows "Who Could Ever Doubt My Love" (I didn't even know this!). I thought that "Who Could Ever Doubt My Love" was only for release intention as the B-side of "I Hear a Symphony". ??? Please fill me in on this, Halls, as you created this article (among others, that is). This is something that I'm not even aware of, and I'm a huge fan of The Supremes! Best, --Discographer (talk) 20:48, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Best, --Discographer (talk) 22:16, 7 February 2011 (UTC) Hi Halls, well, you're pretty good at things like this, so I wanted to ask if possibly you'd be able to find out the missing and the correct birth dates of the Gordy siblings. The ones we need are George Gordy's birth date, and Anna Gordy Gaye's correct birth date - as two dates exist, 12 Dec 1921 and 7 Mar 1922. If anybody would know, it would be Bianca Lawson's mother Denise Gordy. Denise, the daughter of Berry's brother George, is the biological mother of Marvin Gaye's (who is really the biological father, not adoptive) son and Anna is the adoptive mother. Though Gaye denied this in a book, family secrets began coming out after he died. What a soap opera! Best, --Discographer (talk) 11:08, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
Paul McCartney & Diana Ross duetHi Halls, wouldn't this be fascinating! It'd probably be a big hit, too. Now, if only we can get these two together to make this happen. I think a music video to go along with the song with these two would be smashing if they were holding hands with each other, at least for a moment, in one of those earthly surreal scenes, (maybe a quick kiss, too) as physical contact is quite noticale and, psychologically speaking, would improve the overall outcome of this potential single's future sales as an act of emotion is quite appealing to females. The Temptations "Lost And Found" SongsHi Halls. I am just curious to know for which albums each song from the Temptations "Lost And Found" CD were for. I can see the ones from the With A Lot O' Soul album, but what about the others? Also, with all the outtakes including the 3 classics from Emperors of Soul, they had enough songs to make a double album that year. Tornado outbreak of April 2–3, 1982I came across this article randomly and thought to do some touching up, but noticed in your last edit on the article that you abruptly added 14 unclassified tornadoes, changing the count from 63+ to 77+, without source or summary. I don't see any changes in the records (though note a potential 64th tornado listed in discrepancy between SPC and Storm Reports). Looks like you're a regular editor of similar type of articles, and that such events are pretty poorly documented... so wonder if you either have more background to offer for the change, or perhaps it was a mistake?? Thanks! --JeopardyTempest (talk) 08:23, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Hog Farm (talk) 19:33, 28 December 2019 (UTC) References for Tornadoes of 1950 to Tornadoes of 1957.A problem I was hoping to avoid has just reared its ugly head. My main Tornadoes of 1956 page, as well as the two 1953 outbreak pages I made, were reviewed yesterday. I was alarmed to find that the 1956 page was slapped with a "lack of references" tag, so I quickly went back to it and added THP refs to all the sections. I then had to go back to them again today because I messed up the beginning part of the website. (I put https:// instead of http://) So what's my problem? Most of the other main page articles are lacking these references as well. In addition, I'm using a flip phone to make these additions and I can't just copy-paste the template for refs. Therefore, I need a favor from you: can you please put in the THP refs and place them in the correct template for the years 1950-1957? I would really appreciate it. I'm still working on 1958-1965 so don't do those yet, but I will let you know when I'm done each of those years. Also, thanks for your edits on User:ChessEric/June 20–23, 1957 tornado outbreak sequence page! Hopefully, I can get enough done on it on Sunday to publish it.ChessEric (talk) 23:44, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

Two Proposed Articles...
@CapeVerdeWave:: I'm so sorry, Halls! I completely forgot that the April 1961 outbreak was the one you made so I needed to consult you first! Please forgive me! ChessEric (talk) 22:41, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Outbreak slots and disambig. linksCan you add the slot entries for the tornadoes on the dates of my outbreak pages? I can't do that right now. Also, can you fix the disambig. links that came up on my talk page? I don't have the time to look for them in the articles.ChessEric (talk) 21:14, 18 July 2020 (UTC) Working on another outbreak@CapeVerdeWave: I will be working on making an article for the tornado outbreak caused by Hurricane Isaias for a little while. I will get back to updating the older outbreaks and years when I'm done.ChessEric (talk) 21:17, 6 August 2020 (UTC) @CapeVerdeWave: I'm back now! LOL!ChessEric (talk) 03:53, 11 August 2020 (UTC) Data boxes and another outbreakI know its going to be a pain in the you-know-what, but can you make tables for this outbreak for me? Also, March 30-31, 1962 is also getting a page. Can you make that? Thanks!ChessEric (talk) 01:51, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
Thanks bro!ChessEric (talk) 12:09, 14 August 2020 (UTC) Hurricane Carla outbreak lacking data@CapeVerdeWave: Storm Data has NO information from Louisiana for September 1961 because the state missed the printing deadline. This is going to be problematic as the coordinates are WAY off for at least one of the tornadoes from the Hurricane Carla tornado outbreak, but I have no way of telling where it is supposed to be. Do you have a Grazulis book? Otherwise, I'm going to have wait for CapeVerdeWave to enter in data for Louisiana before this article can be published.ChessEric (talk) 04:32, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
Never mind. The data was in the December issue. LOL!ChessEric (talk) 22:58, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
Pinging User:ChessEric, as a major contibutor. I just reviewed this article. I feel that the prose delves too far into WP:FANCRUFT on the topic, and that writing more concise prose, and sometimes summarising events, would be more beneficial to readers. I marked it as reviewed none-the-less but please consider my advice. Regards, Zindor (talk) 13:37, 10 September 2020 (UTC) @Zindor: I'm not so sure what you mean be this. This event caused major damage and loss of life, which is the criteria I used in deciding to make the page. I could see if you said that about some of my earlier outbreak pages as I was inexperienced, but this was seven days of prolific tornado activity that caused millions of dollars in damage and 20+ causalities. I do appreciate what you are saying though and will try to use that advice for the future, but I would like some clarification on why this outbreak seems to be more WP:FANCRUFT then informative.ChessEric (talk) 17:23, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
Tornado outbreak sequence of May 14–June 1, 1962 articleThe Tornado outbreak sequence of May 14–June 1, 1962 has literally been taking MONTHS to complete and I'm exhausted. Can I get a little help with the table here? I can do everything else, but looking at those specific tables right now is giving me the hebby jebbies since I'm doing this all myself! Multiple currencies in article@Halls4521, TornadoLGS, and United States Man: I am working on a draft concerning the 1985 U.S.–Canada tornado outbreak. Given that some of the tornadoes occurred in Canada and others in the U.S., I am working with multiple currencies—US$ and C$—for the damages. How should I account for this in the outbreak info-box, outbreak statistics, and individual tornado summaries? Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
