Obviously I missed Cole Hamels becoming a GA, but if there's any way we can finally collaborate again I would be definitely up for it. :) öBrambleberry of RiverClan 21:32, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of John Mayberry, Jr.The article John Mayberry, Jr. you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:John Mayberry, Jr. for things which need to be addressed. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Secret -- Secret (talk) 21:50, 30 March 2014 (UTC) WikiCup 2014 March newsletterA quick update as we are half way through round two of this year's competition. WikiCup newcomer Godot13 (submissions) (Pool E) leads, having produced a massive set of featured pictures for Silver certificate (United States), an article also brought to featured list status. Former finalist Adam Cuerden (submissions) (Pool G) is in second, which he owes mostly to his work with historical images, including a number of images from Urania's Mirror, an article also brought to good status. 2010 champion (Pool C) is third overall, thanks to contributions relating to naval history, including the newly featured Japanese battleship Nagato. Cliftonian (submissions), who currently leads Pool A and is sixth overall, takes the title for the highest scoring individual article of the competition so far, with the top importance featured article Ian Smith. With 26 people having already scored over 100 points, it is likely that well over 100 points will be needed to secure a place in round 3. Recent years have required 123 (2013), 65 (2012), 41 (2011) and 100 (2010). Remember that only 64 will progress to round 3 at the end of April. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page; if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points equally. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to help keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:55, 1 April 2014 (UTC) season articleMan if you keep writing so much about each game the page will be humungous... I tend to limit myself to one or two sentences per game unless something really important happens. Also, not sure you need the whole opening day roster listed... The standard for these pages is that once the season ends we put a roster on the page that shows everyone that played for the team during the season. (see any previous season page).. and then just list the opening day starters not the whole lineup.. Sure you can add more stuff to it but I've been doing these season articles for a number of years so i thought i'd give you my thoughts on it. Spanneraol (talk) 22:34, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
Thoughts? What do you think of this? BenYes? 02:22, 2 April 2014 (UTC) Re:Scoring questionYep, that's fine! J Milburn (talk) 16:20, 3 April 2014 (UTC) WikiCup errorHi there- this is just a quick note to apologise for a small but important mistake in the last WikiCup newsletter; it is not 64 users who will progress to the next round, but 32. The DYK project (nominate) 00:01, 4 April 2014 (UTC) Font in edit interfaceI have noticed the font in the edit interface does not change whether I have Monobook skin or Vector+Gadget. You posted to Wikipedia:Village pump (technical) that you fixed it, "it had something to do with the override also reverting the interface font." How do I fix interface font? I was wondering if you would mind giving the article another look now that I have renominated it. Thank you, Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 11:06, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

Thank you from the wiki Victuallers (talk) 00:01, 8 April 2014 (UTC) AdopteesHi GP. I spotted a comment you made at WT:WER to the effect that you hadn't been asked to adopt anyone for a while - I've got the opposite problem, in that people keep asking me to adopt them and I really don't have the time to do so effectively at present. Seems to me our problems might cancel each other out... If you'd like to talk to User:ForrestLyle, User:Jakesyl and User:Masssly about adopting them, I'm sure they'd be appreciative. If it's okay with you, I'll consider pointing future requests in your direction too... Yunshui 雲水 12:54, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
I’m not really sure where to reply to this, or if i should, or where we would “Talk” I would love to be adopted, I think Wikipedia’s an excellent place and would love to help out. `jakesy` — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakesyl (talk • contribs) 17:55, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
