Hi! I'm currently on the copyright lesson, and like Tazerdadog said, it would be the hardest lesson. I uploaded a photo, which was a low-resolution television screenshot of a logo. The photo is File:Noodle and Doodle logo.jpg. I only intend to use it in Noodle and Doodle. It asked for a non-free license and a fair use license. I am confused as ever. I am comparing the licensing to an image called File:Dragon Tales logo.jpg. Can you or any other talk page stalker help me please? Thank you. JHUbal27•Talk•E-mail11:36, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi JHUbal, let me first say that I have only a working knowledge of copyright when it comes to fair use and am by no means an expert and that I am pretty ticked off right now in RL. Now that my "fair warning" is out of the way, my quick read is that what you did is fine. It seems to me that you adequately addressed the questions that are necessary for it to be fair use, though I would recommend elaborating a little on your two one word answers; I'm not quite sure how one can answer a statement ...because no. Other than that, it looks OK to me, though you should say who owns the copyright to it. --GoPhightins!21:53, 7 March 2013 (UTC)

inappropriate discussion at Teahouse with some amount of hostility.
Hi, GP! Would you take a look at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions#How do you enforceWP:ADMINACCT ? and consider hatting it or moving it somewhere else? The dude won't even be straightforward about what language Wiki he is talking about and has exhibited some very hostile behavior to Tito, who apparently took the time to figure out which one it was. I left a reply asking him kindly to take the advice he had been given and take it to someplace that might be able to help him, and as of yet he has not replied. It just seems that keeping these kinds of threads around make Teahouse a little less inviting for our target group, new users at en-Wikipedia! Thanks for your consideration of the matter and of course, I will respect whatever you choose to do about the matter. Gtwfan52 (talk) 21:21, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Done
(Stalker) I'm reminded that years ago, my first dissapointment regarding WP was that there was strife. As newbies are prone to do, I went wandering thru the back rooms and found alot of wounded editors. It burst my "what a wonderful place" bubble. As we all do, Ive hardened since. And thats another issue, isn't it. Both of you have involved yourselves in resolving dissagreements. And just like the real world cops that have to deal with the crap all day long, you run the risk of hardening toward your fellow editors. Not that either of you do that. But...deal with dissagreements all the time and you run the risk of dis-enchantment. Don't forget to take a break and just be normal editors. You are both too important to suffer burnout!! ```Buster Seven Talk21:38, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
I'll be glad to take a look and do what I can. Just tell me where to look. In a week or two I will have an article ready to move into mainspace. Maybe you can give me some advice in return. ```Buster Seven Talk01:52, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
If you'd like to collaborate on an article, I'll take a crack at Arlen Specter. I have a somewhat less positive opinion of him, so this should help with neutrality if we collaborate. Tazerdadog (talk) 03:20, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Well, I really haven't done much work on Specter, but the article looks to be in decent shape so I thought I'd get a GA review from someone and put on whatever final touches or do whatever cleanup is necessary. If you want to review it, you're more than welcome to, or if you'd rather wait for a review and help bring it up, I'll return the favor with some politician of your choice. There once was a little boy named Johnny who had a wonderful dog named Laddie. Johnny was prone to emotional outbursts, and his mother was concerned by his overreactions. One day while Johnny was at school, Laddie was killed in an unfortunate accident. The mother took Laddie's body and put it in the backyard. She was very worried how Johnny would react to the news of his dog's death. When Johnny returned from school, his mother said to him, "I'm really sorry, Johnny, but Laddie died in an accident." Johnny responded "Okay" and went upstairs to change his clothers. The mother was quite surprised at the calm reaction. After Johnny put on his play clothes, he went out to the backyard. All of a sudden, the mother heard Johnny screaming. She rushed out to the backyard and saw Johnny prostrate over the dog's body and wailing. The mother said, "But, Johnny, I told you Laddie died." In between sobs, Johnny sputtered, "I thought you said Daddy."
Saw it via the watchlist. Thanks though! As for a cheesesteak, it's 10:36 P.M. in my neck of the woods and while I have no time constraints in which I eat cheesesteaks, I should probably be headed more towards sleep. GoPhightins!02:36, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
What you really need is a Minnesotan Cheesesteak. Philadelphians just don't seem to get it right. A mall near me used to have a "Great Steak and Potatoes" store, the sandwiches there were so good, Philadelphia left me pretty disappointed. RyanVesey03:09, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
Assuming you show people where you live by pointing to a spot on your hand, there's 5 Great Steaks in your state. I think the company changed its name from when I used to go there. I get the "Great Steak" with fries and use their seasoning on the fries and sometimes on the sandwich. You have to go there, it will change your life (and if you live too close to one, possibly your pants size). RyanVesey03:22, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
Well, some of you might just have to write lengthy support statements...there's gotta be a limit somewhere on number of noms. GoPhightins!00:35, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
See [1]. I didn't undo your edit, because the content was poorly written. I'm also not sure the lead should continue to say "wide receiver and return specialist" until the Seahawks show that they're not moving him around. RyanVesey19:16, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
That's right Mr.... Do you know what you've done by awarding me that Barnstar Thingy!??? You've just increase my responsibility 10-fold and now even you have thrust your expectations on me!!!! Ok, I didn't mean to be dramatic but it's in my nature to goof around, having said that: My silly pranks don't make their way into my work. Wikipedia is serious stuff, so I'll mellow down a little and start contributing! But my 4 day quarantine has prevented me from editing pages that I like (doesn't mean I'm not editing), which means tomorrow will decide whether or not, I'm worthy of your trust! Thank you for that wonderful Show Off artefact and Kudos for a totally superb User Name, and I thought my name was ingenious!!The Wikimon (talk) 02:52, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for picking up that article. I've reviewed your changes, and am now satisfied the article meets GA standards. Cheers! (and here's hoping for a rematch of the 1993 World Series!) Resolute23:45, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
Hey Go Fightins! the Phillies opening home series is only a few weeks away and i already have tickey for Sunday April 7 against the Royals. Will you be going to any games this season? NintendoFan (Talk, Contribs) 19:05, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Just wanted to let you know it's JHUbal27 using a signature just for this occasion. Speaking of the Phillies, our Baltimore Orioles could beat you easily. We did beat you in the 1983 World Series (not that I was born, I'm only 13.) Anyway, we're in different leagues, so normally we wouldn't play each other. By the way, that fat, green creature is a "Phanatic"? OK then. Just look at the comparison.
Did you watch the 1983 World Series or are you just 30 years old now? Here's a signature just for the occasion. LET'SGOO's!01:16, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
Us Philadelphia phans could tell you we take anything that starts with an "f", slap a "ph" in front of it instead and call it Philadelphian...the Phillie is a derivation of the filly, a type of horse. We'll beat you Any dayof theweek
Speaking of sports, how do you think the Bears-Eagles game will go when the new NFL season starts? Another loss on your home turf like 2011? BearDown!01:49, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
Hey, I don't know how to do it, so I am asking you, as after I sign off just now, I am more or less done with wikipedia for 4-6 months. PL reasons. Could you be so kind as to put a semi-retired template on both my talk and user page? don't have the time to look for one, as I am packing things up to move. Hope to talk to you soon and i will check in from libraries, etc. from time to time.. peace, my brother! Gtwfan52 (talk) 17:10, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
All right. It may take me a few days to grade, as I take my time with the final and I'm also training someone who helps me in adoption so I figured I'd let him grade on his own and we'd compare. So trust me, I'm not being lazy, I'm just being thorough. GoPhightins!01:14, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Um, I am not a sophisticated user, I thought it would take me a year to figure out how to handle the GA review and you closed it out in one day. Gasp! I will back track on the article when I get a chance (but I will be unable to tackle anything until 11 days from now). There are too many smart people on Wikipedia! I'll doublecheck and triplecheck the article in the next few days. But I don't like it. I think it can be better. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 03:36, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
I looked at some of your changes and they greatly improved the article. But, some of them are factually inaccurate. I'm very busy in real life and you are obviously smarter than me. So, I'll go complain to user Eagles24/7 about 3 or 4 of your edits when I get a chance. I hope I do not offend you, I have close to 3000 edits on the article. For me, it's just one baby step at a time. I will look to squash any post 1923 newspaper article from superseding any information present in a book authored by a professional author. I really don't like mickey mouse newspaper articles as opposed to info from a book by a professional author. Great job though, I hope you are not mad that I will reevaluate the article and try to stay "in-bounds" from your edits. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 03:17, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Hey, do what you've got to do. I was just using what info. I could scrounge up from online sources I could find as I don't have the books you were referencing. GoPhightins!10:37, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Just came back to this and am unsure why I didn't post this the first time: if there are factual inaccuracies, let me know and I'll remove them ASAP. As mentioned, I used whatever sources I could find, mostly newspaper articles from HighBeam or otherwise to get the factual info. I added. GoPhightins!19:26, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Your adoptee
User:Johncheverly is overly zealous with new article tagging. She/he should understand disambiguation pages before claiming they have no content or context. She/he should familiarize herself/himself with the layout of disambiguation pages before tagging any for allegedly not complying therewith. Carlossuarez46 (talk) 23:25, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi Carlos. Yes, I've talked to him. It's partially my fault; I should have been more thorough before I deployed him into article space, but rest assured it won't happen again. Thanks. GoPhightins!00:03, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
Please grade my test
I know it doesn't seem fair to Tazerdadog, but can you please grade my test? I don't know if he'd want you to but he did grade one of your tests. And you are my co-instructor. You don't have to grade it but, at the very least, can you look at it? Thanks. JHUbal27•Talk•E-mail01:01, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
I've been emailing with Tazer today...he's busy. I'll tell you what, I'll take a look at it and if he doesn't grade it by this time tomorrow, I will do so. GoPhightins!01:04, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
Fair enough. Usually he grades it by the time I wake up. I've been busy in RL (I know what that means now!) too with school and I have a play coming up. I'm the White Rabbit. I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date! No time to say hello, goodbye, I'm late! I'm late! I'm late! (That's not actually one of my lines, just a line from the movie.) I know I'm going off-topic, but I'm just trying to make you laugh . I can get a little crazy sometimes. JHUbal27•Talk•E-mail01:19, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
I've never seen the movie nor the play. Never been in a musical either; though I have done other musically related activities (namely jazz, concert, and marching band). By the way, how will you know if I laugh? GoPhightins!01:25, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
I don't know. You're in Philly and I'm in Bal'more. Phillie is awesome by the way. Had some good times there. Did the Duck Tour, saw the Liberty Bell, had a real cheesteak. Not from Gino's but from Pat's? I don't know the names. Oh well, I'm off to school. JHUbal27•Talk•E-mail11:33, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure if the Angus Philly sandwich made by Arby's counts as a Philly cheesesteak, but if it does, I can cross one thing of off my bucket list. AutomaticStrikeout (T • C • AAPT) 15:05, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
For Drmies: Meh. I don't think that counts...you've gotta have the experience in Philadelphia in one of the big three cheese steak restaurants (Pat's, Jim's, or Gino's) GoPhightins!19:10, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
Actually, it's not bad. It's not as elaborate as some of those in other articles, but to me the important thing is that it's there. It tells me something on the subject, which is more than it told me before. Daniel Case (talk) 22:06, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Doesn't quite feel like Spring after yesterday's snow, but thanks anyway! And I didn't mean to bash Arby's above, I'm just thinking that the true experience needs to be in Philly . GoPhightins!01:29, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Actually, I got some rain we I am today which is appropriate I suppose considering the new spring season. TBrandley01:41, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

BLP question
Hey so I am new and have recieved a BLP note next to one of my posts. I believe I have made my posts factual, unbiased, fair and relevent. What is your input on this topic? Thanks! Troutbum898 (talk) 01:16, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! After reading the article, the contribution history, the talk page discussion, and the news source, I can say that while the information is relevant, you should be extraordinarily careful when adding content of this nature. The reason your edit was tagged as a possible BLP issue was that it included a few buzzwords that a filter caught, no reflection on you . Feel free to drop by again either here or over at the Teahouse, where experienced users answer questions in a positive environment, should you have any more questions. GoPhightins!01:51, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Hey thanks a lot! So far I've had a warm and welcoming reception here in the "Wiki world" and look forward to creating more informative posts. Take it easy! Troutbum898 (talk) 02:00, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Buster7 has stopped by and given you some Nice Speculaas Koekjes which promote fellowship and goodwill among editors. Spread the good flavor of Nice Koekjes around Wiki World by sharing them with someone else. Maybe to a friend or, better yet, to someone you have had disagreements with in the past. Nice Koekjes are very tasty and have been known to be so NICE, they will even bake themselves. Enjoy!
I initially had typed up something to that effect and then deleted it and left the computer for a half hour to make sure that's what I really wanted to say (a great strategy I might add) at which point I decided to rewrite it. Now I have been cognitively excogitating on the matter and am leaning towards striking, but I don't think it'll make much difference. Nevertheless, it's sad that we can't handle this as a community, because it has potential to be a good thing. GoPhightins!19:20, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
