I saw (here) that you edited Levantine Arabic in the past.

We have an ongoing debate about the content of the summary and the infobox on the talk page. As you profile says you are "interested in linguistics" and because you have a long experience on Wikipedia, it would be great to have your opinion.

Hi! I've been noticing [z̠] used to phonetically represent Old Norse final /r/. In West Norse /ʀ/ had merged into /r/ by the mid-10th century and it seems a bit eccentric to represent a stage of the language older than that. Compare also haraltr : kunukʀ on the Jelling stones. After 't', the merger happened early, even in East Norse. So by the time of Knútr the great I think [r] is where it's at. Haukur (talk) 14:30, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
