I have recently expanded this article and included several referenced sources. Do you think that the notability tag can now be removed ? I have some doubts about his notability, and another editor I asked (he who placed the original {notability} tag) is rather on the fence like me. I would welcome a third opinion. Thanks, Derek R Bullamore (talk) 13:47, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
Rodger PenzabeneParagraph removed due to inaccuracy and no factual proof as shown by the third source. The existence of this paragraph is damaging. The quote in it is accurate, but the validity of that quote is widely discounted and thus makes the addition of it and any commentary about it damaging and not proven. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keithcrime1965 (talk • contribs) 18:48, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

Felice Taylor's birth name was Florain Flanagan. Taylor was a stage name. Her brothers Jerry & Charles Flanagan wrote the Valiant single sides including the rather lovely 'Rich Girl'. She did not provide lead on The Sweets 45s.Dorkinglad (talk) 14:08, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
Hello, There is a mention from her daughter on You Tube as to the fact she had passed but I realise that that is hearsay. I actually looked up her name on the Social Security records that are available on-line. Florain Weaver (her final married name) came up with a relative called Charlotte Lanee Taylor at the same address in LA. This corresponded with the name on the You Tube video. Ms Taylor gave her mother's passing as 6/12/2017 - assume that is 12th June. I double check using the name Florain Taylor and came up with Florain Corella Taylor and again Charlotte Lanee listed. I confirmed that Johnny Taylor (not The JT) was her manager back in the day (and co-wrote her single on Kent) from the article in Soul Survivor magazine. She had also recorded first for Groovy label in 1966 (picked up by Cadet) as Florain Taylor. This being a very unusual Christian nomenclature I was able to find her under her various guises in Beaumont nr LA. She was also Brown and Andrews at one time. You can also look up the BMI writing credits for song writers (as I'm sure you are aware). Her Kent single 'I can feel your love' was written by Jerry Flanagan & Johnny Taylor. Jerry Flanagan wrote The Sweets sides on Valiant label. The Sweets were Felice (Florain), her sisters Darlene (lead) & Norma. It's on You Tube and another brother Charles Flanagan has made an entry stating that they were his sisters and Jerry ws his brother. Unless Charles and Jerry were half brothers with different names it makes Felice's birth name Florain Corella Flanagan. However I did find one Social security record where the birth dates tallied for Florain Corella Taylor Taylor so it could be that a her first marriage was to someone with the same surname. I do hope you are following this. Anyway I didn't choose to put that in the article but referred to you as the originator of the article). I didn't think I had a definitive answer apart from her name being Florain (not Florian) so I highlighted to yourself. I knew that the spelling for Florain had been transcribed incorrectly but as you know changing such errors takes time to gather evidence. Incidentally The Sweets cut a second 45 on Soul Town called 'Something about my baby' released in the late 60s but possibly earlier.Keep up the good work Dorkinglad (talk) 17:30, 24 August 2018 (UTC) Indeed you Gotcha' me! It seems you've splendidly reaffirmed the research I did this week. The Soul Survivor magazine article published in Autumn 1985 doesn't mention the Groovy / Cadet single but likely the journalist/article writer didn't have that information. I've asked the Soul Source site if anyone can confirm that Florain /Felice Taylor are one & the same. The Cadet 45 is on the internet at You Tube and aurally the singer sounds the same as the Felice Taylor releases. The flip side to Felice's 'I Can Feel Love Comin' is called 'Captured By Your Love' on President UK. It's written by Johnny Taylor and Jerry Flanagan (husband 7 brother of Florine/Florain). Would you say that was enough to show the link? Interesting that my early hunch that she was older than stated was true. This happens often in the 60s. She was only 16 when she married Taylor. I found two children from the marriage on the internet including Charlotte. Dorkinglad (talk) 22:53, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

A courtesy noticeHello. Since I quoted you in this message here, you should be informed. Here's the culmination of a small exchange on the article itself here. I think this is a persistent problem with this editor, and given their past behaviour, it may well repeat and escalate if we want to try to stop having to watch out for it. Biased removal of Hope Not Hate criticism of not being apolitical charity, but motivated by Labour MPs directorshipsGiven sections on Jo Cox, it is relevant whether By-Election caused was manipulated. Notably, AJ' remover has hits that appear to correspond with comments from 'Centre for European Economic Research' (meaning this is EU meddling in English/UK politics). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:DA28:3200:449:5F82:2407:2D20 (talk) 15:16, 15 October 2018 (UTC) The Signpost: 28 October 2018
A simple request it seems. Could you see if you can unearth a full date of birth for this individual. There is a fair amount of background information in the article, which I am presently trying to get up to scratch. Incidentally, I am now a honorary Light Crust Doughboy - it's true. I am seemingly only one step away from a Grammy. Beat that if you can ! Cheers, Derek R Bullamore (talk) 00:14, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

The draft article in my soapbox is almost ready to go. I am sure we had a short conversation about this individual some time ago, but I could not be bothered to trace back through all my ramblings to try to find it. No matter really, as usual my request is about his full birth date. I thought this one should be easy enough to pin down, but both me and my good lady have drawn a blank. Various theories of ours surrounded the usual 'showbiz age' factor, or whether he was perhaps born as Pailthorpe or Kelly and his mother changed husbands in World War II (or vice versa). Do not waste much time on this - but if you would care to cast an eye over my draft too, 'cos I always appreciate a second opinion. Note the 'Ull connection too ! Ta, - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 19:53, 10 December 2018 (UTC) PS. Having done more research, I am favouring a 1935 birth year. It is well documented that John Barry formed The John Barry Seven in 1957. Kelly, as a reasonably well documented original member of that combo, can not have undertaken a three year stint in the RAF prior to 1957, if he was born in 1937. This source does state 1935, although it is out-trumped by several (including AllMusic) quoting 1937. More original than definitive, but it may aid your efforts. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 23:54, 10 December 2018 (UTC)

Tony WalshHi. Unfortunately these guys didn't record what they were doing to children, so there is often no evidence of what has happened. No rent book either for when he lived with two little children... It's being put as delicately as possible that the two men are friends, with one still visiting the other etc, but again I don't have access to that sort of documentation. I would appreciate if you would not comment that my edits are of no relevance, when you really mean citation needed. This "friendship circle" is relevant.
