It's not a big deal, but please remember to put your nomination on the top of the list rather than the bottom, the next time you make a nom. Otherwise it might get overlooked by a large amount of AFD regulars who already looked at some other discussions. - Mgm|(talk) 09:04, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Terror Syndrome

A tag has been placed on Terror Syndrome requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb1 (talk) 04:10, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Terror Syndrome

I have nominated Terror Syndrome, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Terror Syndrome. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

A tag has been placed on Codes in the Clouds requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Wyatt Riot (talk) 09:12, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Corporate Flesh Party

The article Corporate Flesh Party has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails WP:NALBUMS

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 19:52, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Deconstruction (The Devin Townsend Project album). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Deconstruction (The Devin Townsend Project album). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You for putting so much time and effort in to this, but I noteced that many of the early years have incorect information. I know it may take a while to do so but if you would like to post the correct number ones try using billboards digital archive where you can find the actucal print versions of every chart .http://www.billboard.com/#/archive?tag=footpromo Again thanks for the effort helping wiki be a great reasource for country music fans. Pronunciation of Josh Homme

Hi there,

This edit you made has been reverted by myself and another user. In both transliteration schemes, you seem to be under the impression that moving the "m" from the onset of the following syllable to the coda of the previous syllable alters the phonetic value of the "o", which isn't the case. Both the IPA /ɒ/ and the respelling o based on Wikipedia:Pronunciation respelling key have the sound of the "o" in the English word "lot", regardless of the coda. For the sound you're probably thinking it's making (the "oa" sound in "goat"), the corresponding IPA value is // and the respelling is oh. --334a (talk) 18:12, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What makes the "m" appear in the second syllable and not the first? Is there a rule about that? In the audio I don't hear "ho - mee", I hear "hom - ee". —Gendralman (talk) 07:39, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for taking the time to review the article! I probably won't take it to FAC for a good while, but I will heed your advice and find more sources for it; I think the DVD has a behind-the-scenes clip that I can use for the production section. ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:15, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
