About the Ron Killings pag
I'm fairly new with using a wiki account so I'm not sure if this was the correct way to contact you but I just wanted to ask why did you undo the changes I made in the "Ron Killings" page? It's a fact that's all over the wrestling world all over wrestling sites that Ron Killings has signed a contract with the WWE. Just wondering, Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kuruptedhead (talk • contribs) 08:25, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Ric Flair Article
I would like to know why you deleted my post (about a month ago) on the Ric Flair Article( When Flair faced MVP at Royal Rumble 2008). It was 100% relevant. I was told that it was deleted because it was not a 'notable' match, and yet I checked the article today and someone had added the exact same info (as I had) to the Ric Flair article and it has not been deleted. Why?????????? Thanks Jon56WWE
Re:PCE
No problem, man. I too have been removing his edits from the past, the edit on Kane's page, to me, didn't make any sense whatsoever. Question: Is this really needed for Mr. Kennedy's article? ----> His gimmick is of a cocky young cheesehead who loves to brag about his accomplishments, often being "less than truthful" in his statements. -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)03:51, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
That's cool. IMO, a WrestleMania article would be hard to work on, but I give you props for working on it. ;) I was actually thinking if you wanted to work on a PPV, but I'm pretty sure that you'd like to stick to removing vandalism from articles. P.S. Good job fixing the links to the PPV's. -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)00:31, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, do that and see if the article can surpass to GA or even FA. Thanks for signing. ;) P.S. Have you thought of using a signature to your name? -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)01:00, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
As far as I know, you are correct except for the Matches section for PPV's. Hence why Elimination Chamber is linked twice! -GuffasBorgz7-23:11, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
When I said "rest", I meant the rest of the event section, as I wrote more than half of it. So you still can write the WWE title match and the RAW EC match. --TrUCo931122:28, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Oh well I guess someone else wrote it. You can still try to trim the RAW elimination chamber a bit, its kinda too long. Oh for the drafts, I haven't watched WWE for that long either and I just learn from the sources and the brand extension will have a bunch and a hell of alot of sources.TrUCo931122:15, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Ashley Massaro
Hello Gavyn Sykes. I just want to start out by saying that I respect you as an editor here on Wikipedia more than I do a lot of other editors. I actually feel like we have a similar editing style and share the same opinions on most topics, which is pretty cool to see. That being said however, I disagree with your revert of my edit to the Ashley Massaro article. Rather than getting into a disruptive edit war, I would like to discuss this issue with you so either one of us can get some more insight on the matter.
I know that for some time now in WWE Ashley has not been referred to as 'Ashley Massaro', but having both names listed under her ring name section doesn't make sense to me. It isn't a separate ring name like Johnny Nitro and John Morrison, but rather it is a shorter version of the same name. I guess it could be considered simply a changed name. I think a good compromise would be to write in the opening sentence of the lead section "Ashley Marie Massaro (born May 261979), better known simply as Ashley, is an…" but I would like your opinion and views on this rather than just add the information immediately.
Hello Gavyn Sykes, I have granted rollback rights for your account. The reason for this is that you are an effective vandal-fighter, and know the difference between a good-faith edit and vandalism. I know that you will not abuse rollback. If you don't want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. --LAX01:11, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
A broadcast of SmackDown in Australia s a reliable enough source to add matches. You cannot remove matches that have a reliable source, period. Consensus has changed. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 15:43, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Yup, I'll get to it then. There's a confusing statement in the Summerslam article though: On the August 26 edition of SmackDown!, Orlando Jordan, who was representing JBL, met Undertaker in a WWE Championship match, in which Undertaker won after interference from JBL, which resulted in JBL retaining the title." How did JBL retain his title in a match he wasn't involved in? Gavyn Sykes (talk) 16:54, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks and Orlando replaced or substituted for JBL, cause JBL was "injured" and apparently 'Taker was almost about to win the title, but JBL interfered in the match, which 'Taker won the match, but JBL retained. It says here. -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)17:31, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Royal Rumble (2005) and Over the Edge (1998) have been listed for Peer review. Please review this article and make suggestions for how it can be improved in preparation for a Good article nomination. Their peer reviews can be found here and here.
Ron Killings is still being reported as having signed a WWE contract. As there is no reliable source for anything of the sort, be prepared for his name to be continually added to the WWE Roster article, and information about his return being added to his article. There is also, apparently, an audio interview with Killings where he states he will be returning to WWE with his old K-Kwik gimmick. Recent SmackDown! Taping spoilers indicate that he debuted under the name Kwik Killings in a Dark match. No reliable source has reported this as of now, however.

Well when sourcing from the internet, you need to use the citeweb template. So lets say you want to source this.. "John Cena defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the WWE Championship".
1)"John Cena defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the WWE Championship." Lets say you used WWE.com to source it,
"John Cena defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the WWE Championship." <ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.wwe.com|accessdate=2008-03-01|title=WWE Homepage|last=McMahon|first=Vince|publisher=World Wrestling Entertainment|date=2008-03-01}}</ref>
This is what you would put to source it.
URl=well the url
title=The title of the article, you have to put the real title, if there is none, put a general title.
last=The author's last name, most articles have the authors name, so you will put their last name here.
first=The author's first name, same principles as the last name apply.
accessdate=The day you got the article, so the date you found it, and then you would write in this format "2008-03-01". (YYYY-MM-DD)
publisher=The company that published the article, so an article from WWE.com was published by World Wrestling Entertainment
date=The date the article was published.
Note:Not all of this information will be available, so try to fill in as much as you can.
2)"John Cena defeated Shawn Michaels to retain the WWE Championship."[1]

Jeff Hardy was suspended by WWE for 60 days on March 11 for violating WWE's Substance Abuse and Drug Policy. On March 14, he lost his home in, Cameron, North Carolina, late friday night due to a fire. Fire Department officials currently cannot confirm what was the cause of the fire. Reports also say that Jeff's brother, Matt Hardy, saw smoke coming out of Jeff's house. RAWCommentator, Jim Ross, reports on his blog, "He lost essentially every thing he had and most sadly his dog".

I am sorry. But you must realize that IT IS WWE'S PAY PER VIEW!!! No on esles so we must keep with wwe.com. They have the most accurate info.
That has no correlation. Video games are based on other things. WWE's pay per view ISN'T.
We should try to get Backlash 2008 protected. The unregistered users are messing it up again.

WrestleMania 23
Recently, I have been improving WrestleMania 23 and while doing so, I have noticed that there are many places missing a citation where one should be placed. And since you, as well as D.M.N., are the ones who expanded it, I was wondering if you two were ever planning on filling in those missing citations? If not, I would be more welcome to do that the best I can. Regards, –LAX01:53, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

At WrestleMania XXIV, Shawn Michaels defeated Ric Flair after executing the Sweet Chin Music, which as a result, meant that Ric Flair was forced to retire from professional wrestling. The next night, at Flair's retirement ceremony on Raw, Triple H congratulated Flair for his 35 year career, and brought out retired and current superstars to thank him. Michaels, and the whole WWE roster came out later to thank him as well.
The Undertaker defeated Edge to become the new World Heavyweight Champion forcing him to submit to the Gogoplata. During the pyro celebration for Undertaker's 16-0 streak, a freak accident occurred just before WrestleMania went off-air. During the pryo shooting to the entrance stage, a firework went to the upper-level section of the crowd on top. Forty-five fans were injured, and currently, WWE is trying to investigate what was the cause of the pyrotechnic malfunction

Goldberg -Worth mentioning
It should be worth mentioning on the article in his WCW chapter that he was able to lift the 500 pound Giant (now known as Paul "The Big Show" Wight) in a vertical suplex position with one hand and Jackhammer him, cuz I've noticed that many people don't believe he could do it... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.53.208.218 (talk) 05:25, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

As you seem to be at least working on the article in some way could you find a way to integrate into the article at least a note that his character is a pretty overt reference to Jim Morrison? Would you happen to know?
Would you happen to know why all of WWE's articles for this year are one article instead of looking like TNA's Victory Road, Hard Justice, No Surrender, etc? I think if WWE's articles are only one page per pay-per-view then TNA's should to. Would you happen to know beause I don't go looking around and you seem to know more than I do.--WillC (talk) 05:14, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Use a ref name. The first time you use the reference, add a ref name parameter, e.g. <ref name="title">{{cite web=...|title=...}}</ref>, and the second time you use <ref name="title"/>. You can use it as often as you want. It's that simple! ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 19:09, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Re:Ready
It's ok (in response to the List of WCW World Tag Team Champions), next time be careful not to remove part of the table. =D
Things to do (me and you)
Create a reception section, this should have like the amount of units sold, game ratings by IGN/Game Spot, etc. (You dont need to do it for every game, just like the original SmackDown game, the first SmackDown! vs Raw, and the most recent.
If you can think of anything else to add, tell me, if not refer to the reception section of Crazy Taxi (series)
Create a "Games" Section, write a brief paragraph about the different games released. Then provide a see also template that redirects to List of WWE SmackDown video game titles ( I will create that later)
Under season mode, can you write a paragraph about the General Manager mode?
We also need a development section like in Crazy Taxi (series). We need to write about the soundtrack, the storylines, and the extensive voice over that goes into the games. And any other development info. Also, try to find something about legalities.
Oh my bad. I forgot to tell you that we were working on it in my sandbox. But it looks good. However, the last sentence sounds like an opinion. Just reword it and source it, if you can.SRX--LatinoHeat18:23, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
It's ok, I like to work fast. But sometimes it always doesn't turn out good. Can you take a look at both articles and give me feedback, thanks.--SRX--LatinoHeat03:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm curious as to why you undid my minor edits. All I did was changed the format of some of the links to main articles so as opposed to being something like "Nelson Hold#Full Nelson" it would just say "Full Nelson" and the full nelson page would redirect to the proper page. Looks nicer and as far as I know isn't against Wiki guidelines so...why? casecloser (talk) 12:27, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Team Mexico is in this year's. TNA has just had trouble getting the whole Team over here. So they are just not going mention them until they have them in the US.--WillC01:33, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I got proof on who is on the team but TNA hasn't announced anything on TV or on TNAWrestling.com so I'm not sure to place them in there. My sources are good but just not sure. WrestleView.com.--WillC01:56, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Okay. I was told by someone else on here that it was a good source. Most of what they've said has been actuate. mainly with ppvs and iMPACT! results. I guess I can use it mainly for that. Just to ask, what about PWinsider.com?--WillC03:19, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Okay. Well I'll only use references from the site if they are accurate after they happen. What site is the best to use for references?--WillC03:28, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi
Hey. Okay I'm kinda really, really new to the whole Wikipedia thing, so I really hope I'm doing this right. Anyway, I saw on your user page that you're an active contributer to the pro wrestling Wikiproject, and while editing a wrestling page I noticed an issue. I was editing a section on Scott Hall's page and I checked out one of the references, and I noticed that a majority of the sections on Hall's page were lifted verbatim from the source. And for several sections there was little to no mention of the source. I don't know, but should the article be re-written? I mean isn't there a difference between incorperating the source and just copy/pasting into the article? HidyHoTim (talk) 16:33, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Well it's pretty much every section really. The source had information listed in bullet form and it looks like who ever wrote the article just condensed all the bullets into a paragraph. By saying you could look at it when you have the time, I'm assuming you have a lot to do. I can re-write it (I already did one section), but after that is when I noticed what was going on and I wanted to ask someone before continuing. And also, one of the sources was listed as being the "official" Scott Hall website, but it looks more like a fan site. Does that count as reliable? Or should the sources be like PWI or something? Does it not say you can organize by use? I do believe I saw that. In that case, the Twist of Fate should be first because he uses it the most. And please explain to me how it does fall under that category, because if you mean alphabetical, I feel in this case it is better to go by usage instead of alphabetical considering the nature of the article and list. You know what dude, I just took a look at the list of finishing moves on his page an all the other lists, and as much as putting the scar first looks weird, I think alphabetical does look much nicer. But do you think we could somehow indicate his current finisher? And we could apply that to other articles, as well. L2K (talk) 00:49, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
The C-Class rating has been introduced. The rating falls between articles that are more than Start-Class, but less than B-Class.
Immediately put into effect, our project has begun use of the List-Class rating. The List-Class rating is for list articles that are of less quality than B-Class articles.
Our goal is to get the number of Stub-Class articles below 600. The current count is 631. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list has been placed on the stub article subpage of stub articles of well-known wrestlers that should be fairly easy to improve.
As I'm sure you noticed above, this is the 20th edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! It has come a long way since the first issue, and I'm sure it will only improve from here. I'd like to thank everyone reading this for continuing to read the newsletter, biweekly.
Also, lastly I'd like to thank Misza13, for sending the newsletter out for us, though his bot. His bot has to be the most important part of the process, because without it, the newsletter would not get sent to project members.
I know that's a long list, but they all deserve recognition for their hard work towards the newsletter. So again, thank you to that list of people, and thank you to all of the newsletter's biweekly readers. If you have an questions, comments, or feedback about the newsletter, remember those links below.
