  • Again, I'm sorry, but that's really not true. It's 5:40 according to my iTunes, and the CD itself reads the same. You might be confusing it with a remix. Sorry to sound confrontational about this, but the song is simply not three minutes and forty-four seconds. Pink Floyd - The Wall

Hello and thanks for you contributions to this article, but I've recently seen that you have reverted back my edit on the famous track name Another Brick in The Wall. I must say that UK pressings and US pressings are a little bit different from each other, like album More. In original UK pressing and also registered catalogue numbers even in newly remastered albums in Japan and EMI UK, the name has been tagged as "Another Brick in The Wall (Part 2)", they also changed "Breathe (In The Air)" to "Breathe". So, what should we do about it, mate?

  • I really don't know what version you would be talking about. I'm not referencing a foreign release or anything, just the original UK EMI pressing from 1979. Also, I'm pretty sure that all of the 1979 pressings had the same artwork anyway. You can go to Discogs.com to look up the different releases if you like, though they have images of the labels (here and here) that clearly don't put the parts of the song in parentheses. I'd link to the lyrics sheets (which also don't contain parentheses), but I don't know where to find those online. It's true that various different releases over the years have changed the song titles (some use roman numerals, etc), but on the original UK EMI pressing, the parentheses are absent. Cheers.
