Thanks for your reference! - I studied a long ago, prior to dear to write in the wiki-resource areas! I also searched for that historical matter for a long time. And it is not me, alone. So if we did not managed to be enough convincing for you or other sincere editor, we will try again. But however we are in the firm opinion that the direction is clear and fine, as to the content of those articles, that treat the old Bulgarian history. Me and some other comrades already clarified the matter with some other editors, added some sources and so on. Please, give us some time, as long as the mishmash in this area is really very deep and wide.
Here is one of the studies over the titles of the old Bulgarian rulers. http://www.protobulgarians.com/Statii%20za%20prabaalgarite/Titli%20devnobaalgarski%20-%20Zora.htm It is in Bulgarian language. The point is, that after the several Bulgarian king's and patriarch's libraries had been burned between 14 and 19 cent, there are very few old sources for the Bulgarian ancient and early history. However, THERE IS NO A SINGLE EVIDENCE for a single use of titles as "han", "khan" or "kan" for them. Oposite - there are many sources with the next ones, mentioned: "Kanas u bigi" (Lnyaz ot Boga), Rex, Emperor, Vasileos, Archont. Only the first one is written in the native, Bulgarian language, but in foreign letters )greek or lat.). It is usually found if such foreign old books (manuscripts), as the Manasseh chronic, Scilista chronic etc. That is why... it is written wrongly and the only way to read it is to know Bulgarian Language. So, it is mentioned, that several of them were referred as "A King from the God" (От Бога, владетел). Many of the scholars respect this reading of the expression "kanasubigi" but very few of them (!?) agree that the literal reading in Bulgarian language is exactly "Knyaz u Boga" (with small distortion by the foreign ear and hand), that is exactly what we already say: "A Ruler (Knyaz) from (U) God (Boga)"... Greetings for your patience! --212.5.158.130 (talk) 20:06, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
1) http://creative.sulekha.com/the-bulgarians_362377_blog Here it is written "During the year 635 kanasubigi Kubrat had sent envoys to the Byzantine Empire to sign a peace treaty with Emperor Iraklii and then Kubrat was given the title “Patrician”. - Sorry but in English the sources are really limited :) So this is a simple blog. 2) http://rodinabg.com/readarticle.php?id=5807 - just a clue - Here Kubrat is mentioned as "kanas", that comes from the same wrongly written "Knyaz" - a title that is in use even today... There is an article for the memorial of Kubrat in modern Ukraine. Съкровищата са мерило за властта, престижа и възможностите на държавния глава." finally, you may refer here (illustrated): 3) http://www.protobulgarians.com/Statii%20za%20prabaalgarite/Titlata%20kanasuvigi-final.htm - Here you may clearly see the letters "KANASUBIGI" OR "KANAS".The point is that the languages around Bulgarian had not a letter for "Ъ" (Кънас) or for "Ѫ" - "KѪНАС". So, the letters "Ъ" and "Ѫ", could be read as the letter "u" in "fun". So the writers just regularly used "A", as "E" in the "paper"... And inspite of кънас (now "княз") they wrote "KANAS". THAT IS ALL... For "UBIGI", I already explained you - "U (ot) BOGA" - "In(from) The God".
Thanks, again! --212.5.158.132 (talk) 21:39, 28 June 2015 (UTC) Proposal for a new WikiProjectHello there, I have just proposed a new WikiProject be started; National Parks of the United Kingdom and I was wondering whether you would be able to come and have a look at the proposal and join the discussion. Boats landing on Hastings beachHello. I was doing some tidying on the article on Hastings, and noticed you removed an image of boats landing on the beach dating from 1819. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hastings&diff=627868573&oldid=627399121 This seemed to me quite an interesting snapshot of the historical development of the town, noteably showing much of it not built yet. I wondered why you felt it did not belong in the article? Sandpiper (talk) 07:27, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
