Better source request for File:JT-Piano Concert No. 2 (1953).jpgThanks for uploading File:JT-Piano Concert No. 2 (1953).jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Which library was this obtained from? Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:00, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Since the article is primarily about an artform, not about a jetty, or swans, the creator of the image must be acknowledged as the artist. Please go back to that page and fill in your name and give the image a title, other than just the location. Amandajm (talk) 05:00, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled. On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. AFAIR most voters consider the cross to be a genealogic sign and not a religious one in the given context. One question: did you use a polarizing filter on the camera? That is essential information to distinguish stress induced colors from the interference colors that may be caused by the very thin heating layer in the windshield. Ceinturion (talk) 06:52, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
I used your photo in a discussion about the reflection colors on the windshield of trains, in a Dutch forum (if your browser doesn't translate it, you might still enjoy the images). The windshield is made of Electriplex glass, which contains a transparent, electrically conductive heating layer. The layer is so thin that interference colors appear, similar to soap bubbles. There is not yet a final answer in that discussion, so I can't suggest a better caption, but a distinctive difference is that interference colors can be seen without polaroid glasses, whereas reflection colors in birefringent plastic can only be seen with polaroid glasses. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media.
