Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2016 Queen's Birthday Honours (Australia), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Conspicuous Service Cross. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. I mean like for "other_device=n|", because I think we will see quite some more of these in the future... Sent this to GeckoG as well. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do it myself... Orders, decorations, and medals of the Russian FederationHi! Salut! Guten tag... Thanks for partially fixing the mess created with the title of the article Awards and decorations of the Russian Federation. I don't know why it was changed to Russia and then only partially brought back to Russian Federation, but the awards are those of the Russian Federation. Either somebody is having fun, doesn't understand the difference between the Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of Independent States, or this is vandalism... But the title was correct, and is now wrong. The article should either be called Orders, decorations, and medals of the Russian Federation or List of Orders, decorations, and medals of the Russian Federation. I've seen articles where you could change the coding but then somebody else had to OK the changes for them to take effect and be visible to the general population, what is the procedure to start such a protocol? This is getting stupid. Fdutil (talk) 03:04, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
That is odd. What was the original page name, do you remember? EricSerge (talk) 21:49, 26 December 2016 (UTC)

March Madness 2017G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement. The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also. The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now. For the Milhist co-ordinators. I write to you because I do not know where to post it... See: http://www8.cao.go.jp/shokun/en/orders-of-the-rising-sun.html As you may know, a few years back, somebody changed all six classes to one and the same ribbon. I just wonder why and if it is correct? IMO, every class has got its own ribbon, just like all other orders, or was that changed?
Encore merci pour votre co-opération, claudevsq (talk) 20:03, 24 July 2017 (UTC) The Signpost: 5 August 2017
