Fair use of imagesHi Elie! Thank you so much for inviting me to ask you questions. I am writing an article about a contemporary Lebanese artist and would like to illustrate it with pictures of her artworks. I was wondering whether it was permissible to use images I find online if the copyright holder gives permission, or if not how to proceed. I'm very new to this and have read all the wiki guidelines about images but I'm still trying to wrap my head around them. Thanks again. Cheers Fmrt2018 (talk) 13:13, 12 October 2019 (UTC)fmrt2018
Dear Elie, Thank you so much! I think I'm going to try the first option. I have a question about option 3: how does one release images to the public domain? Thanks again for your help Fmrt2018 (talk) 20:22, 13 October 2019 (UTC)fmrt2018
