Recent request to update section in Gambling - Fixed Odds BettingHi Elektrik Shoos. 18th April 12 I requested that the words Eurovision Song Contest be added to the fixed odds betting section on the gambling page. I run a small website that specializes in this and as the election betting and reality TV betting subject were mentioned I thought you might add Eurovision betting in too. If I could also add my site as a reference at the foot of the page then that would be great. I have read up about the rules and I believe this is allowed? Thanks a lot, Stefanie Stefaniereeve (talk) 07:47, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
The Mousetrap FAQHello Elektrik Shoos/Archive 4. So more than a week ago, I asked on the talk page of The Mousetrap if there could be a fourth question for the FAQ. The question would be something like "Shouldn't Agatha Christie's wishes be followed?" or "There is a tradition of not spoiling the ending. Why spoil it?" What do you think of adding such a question? I would add it myself, but I wouldn't want to be too bold, I wanted some consensus, and finally I'm not sure what the exact wording should be. Thank you! North Yokum TownshipHi, saw your note in history on North Yokum Township, Carroll County, Arkansas. I already had created the corrected version with a copy of the data (name corrected throughout). The correct one is North Yocum Township, Carroll County, Arkansas. What should be done with two of them out there? The one with the "Yokum" ("k" as opposed to "c") is the incorrect one. Data (other than spelling issue) is identical between the two of them.Yx7791 (talk) 23:44, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

ANI threadHello Elektrik Shoos. Thanks for your quick response to my recent posting at ANI. However in your response, you implied criticism of the etiquette of my behaviour, and I should be grateful if you could clarify how you believe I failed in this area. I considered it more appropriate to ask this question here, rather than clutter up the page at ANI. Thanks. PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 07:30, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Daniel Davis (Youtube Personality) ArticleThanks for your concern. This page was not created by me but by my fans, as you can see[here]. Apparently it was submitted to the wrong Wikipedia section and therefore deleted, so I am re-submitting it in what I think is the appropriate section. Please check the sources and if this page is less worthy of being added than Youtube personalities [Caitlin Hill], the creators of [Ask a Ninja], [Fox Bronte], [Amanda Baggs], or [Amy Walker], then I will gladly hand it over for deletion. But if that is the case, then those wiki submissions should also be removed, as they only have as much right to be on Wikipedia as this page does. If you believe it is still in the wrong section, please let me know what you think would be a more appropriate section. Tinkernut (talk) 04:19, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Tinkernut

I rolled back your speedy deletion, because it's a valid dab page even if a sock edited it. Thank you for understanding. Bearian (talk) 23:46, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Nora EphronI reverted the article - see [1] - I say we wait until we get an official word on her death before being too hasty to get it up. – Connormah (talk) 21:54, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
George TakeiI took serious offense to your suggestion on the George Takei Talk page that editor Hearfourmewesique and I break it up. IMO that editor has a maturity problem, especially now that I have seen their talk page. To suggest I am somehow on the same level as someone who bursts in on the George Takei page, posts a random appearance in the biography, when I remove it they say the page should have a filmography section, I agree, and then they begin flaming me for not creating the section myself. Really? Akuvar (talk) 03:57, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pagesDear Author/Elektrik Shoos My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at the University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address recently edited an article on Nutrition. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article and or other health-related articles. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain) and if interested, please reply via my talk page or e-mail me on nusa.faric.11@ucl.ac.uk. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance. Wikithanks Thanks for dealing with this guy. Hope you're having a nice night.
LightbournIt appears that you placed the PROD on the Lightbourn article while I was creating an AfD nomination for it with Twinkle, I thus sent it to AfD unaware that the PROD was there and that I would be removing it. My apologies; regardless, you can comment on the AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dr. Lightbourn. Some weeks ago, there was a large amount of new articles and I couldn't review all them. If you can at least help me get to a week ahead, I'd appreciate it. SwisterTwister talk 05:07, 20 July 2012 (UTC) page for "Joel Dodd"I have just read the description of myself on the page "Joel Dodd". Page Curation newsletterHey Elektrik Shoos. I'm dropping you a note because you used to (or still do!) patrol new pages. This is just to let you know that we've deployed and developed Page Curation, which augments and supersedes Special:NewPages - there are a lot of interesting new features :). There's some help documentation here if you want to familiarise yourself with the system and start using it. If you find any bugs or have requests for new features, let us know here. Thanks! Modification to May PC be applied to pages to protect against violations of the policy on biographies of living persons (WP:BLP)?Hello. Because the "Yes" section was split between one group in favor of applying protection to all articles and one group in favor of applying protection to articles only when there has been a problem, I have split the section to reflect this difference. Please go back to that page and make sure that your vote is still in the section that most closely reflects your views. Sven Manguard Wha? 16:16, 2 October 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 01 October 2012

Thank you for notificationYour notice directed me to this thread, where I have found out ongoing matters concerning me and I have taken part in the discussion to explain my position. It seems the user 83.81.44.205 wants me banned from Wikipedia because I undid the user's removal of cited text that I inserted. The user also accuses me of citing from unreliable online tabloid which appears to be the second most visited] among all websites in its country of origin. Thank you for you notification. The matter could have missed my eyes without your notice. -M. Tawsif Salam 01:35, 18 November 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 19 November 2012

Orphaned non-free media (File:Let's Pretend This Never Happened.jpg)Thanks for uploading File:Let's Pretend This Never Happened.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
