Well I think your certainly ready and we don't have many high profile admin music editors. Journalist, eo, and Rodhullandemu are some of the best well known. Most of the high profile music editors are not admins. You know policy like the back of your hand and your highly civil. Looking at your last RfA, many of the opposer's said "Weak support", I'm sure they can be swayed by now. Maybe we can get a few co-nom's together and forward an RfA? Unless you want to self nom? I would certainly co-nom you and I'm sure there is an admin who will also nom. — Realist210:23, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I actually don't like the idea "we don't have many high profile admin music editors" but with the encouragement of yours, Orane, and Winger, why not? --Efe (talk) 10:57, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
What I mean by that is, newbie's need a friendly, familiar person to turn to for advise etc. You are certainly well known, kind, calm, helpful. One problem some new editors have is that they don't know who to turn to. If someone asked me where to find help, I think you would be the ideal guy. Anyway, looks like we have some work to get to. I'll speak to Orane and Winger (directing them to this discussion) about setting up the RfA, I would be honored to chip in. We edit at different times so this might take some patience. — Realist211:07, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
No problem, I've informed them both, but noticed that Winger hasn't edited in a few weeks, hopefully he will respond soon, still the number of nom's doesn't matter, it's the candidate that matters, so you should be fine. We'll see what the others say and then set it up. — Realist211:15, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Meanwhile I'm getting back into article writing, a spent a few months doing fighting vandalism, sock puppets, page protection, AfD's etc. I recently noticed that we've started doing "good topics" (way easier that featured topics), so I decided to work on HIStory and all it's singles (doing the singles first). — Realist211:27, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah. I have two good topics now to... boast. Hehe. Just kidding. Your Jackson books really are a good help. --Efe (talk) 11:35, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah they are, still info is hard to find when you have to way through all the commentary on his personal life. He's only released one album in the internet age, Invincible (2001) so those older albums can be hard to source. Fingers crossed there will be a new studio album soon, though the POV pushers will be a nightmare. Think of the mad Britney fans/haters and times it by 10. Glad to see her back at her best, love to see the press proved wrong. Anyway, enough of my ranting. :-) — Realist211:42, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Good you have those references. Britney's back and so amazing your fighting against those vandals in her pages. --Efe (talk) 11:49, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I'd be honored to co nominate. Due to a full class schedule, though, I'm usually only on only at this time every night. But if you go ahead and make the nomination page, I'll add my nomination statement etc. (By the way, it's best to let others nominate you. It may have changed now, but people were a bit "iffy" about self noms). Cheers and good luck! Orane(talk)04:22, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
OK, well I will set it up and Journalist can add to it if he has the available time. I will set it up tomorrow afternoon, and we can go live when ready. — Realist208:42, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I have already indicated there my acceptance. I'll answer the question later, I still have classes. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 23:24, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Sure no rush, take your time. I won't transclude it until I have confirmation from you, I've left another message for Journalist if he isn't busy. If you want to wait a few extra days before letting the process being I'm cool with that to. Whenever best fits around your real life schedule. — Realist223:36, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
OK, everything is ready on my side, please tell me when to pull the switch and I will. If you want to postpone it a few days until the weekend or whatever just let me know. — Realist209:51, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:BK Naughty Girl Riff.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:BK Naughty Girl Riff.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:10, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Awesome, I sorta knew you kinda were, just trying to make sure. When you told me that you had plans of bringing a Beyoncé related article to FA, I was just wondering if you would work on an article afterwards. :) Also, I think you need a little break from me, since I bother you and stuff. Oh, if you do run for Admin, count my support in. :P -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)22:06, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Done; sorry for the delay over the past few days. I've put the article on hold for a week and outlined the remaining issues on the talkpage. Best wishes, the skomorokh04:03, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Hello. Please stop removing content from User:Wynchard Bloom's user page, its vandalism. If you have misunderstanding, please discuss it in his talk page. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 03:22, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Well Wynchard bloom has been doing the same for other pages and so i just feel like i should do it to him in return. He has no right to delete any content from celebrity pages just as from sarah geronimo and sam concepcion. maybe its better for you to review whats happening so that you can gather enough evidence for you to block that user. Also from his page he has CLEARLY STATED that he is against vandalism and yet he totally vandalised sam concecpions and sarah geronimo's page by deleting information that can indeed pass wikipedia's criteria. if wikipedia does have a problem, it will be wikipedia who will find a solution and not a normal user under the name of wynchard bloom. Furthermore i deleted the content of his page as he made contradictory and false statements. he claimed to be against vandalism and yet what has he been doing to other pages? please investigate upon that issueSlemcal1
I have not reviewed his contributions yet but deleting his page is a sort of retaliation, which isn't good for all of us here. If you continue deleting his page, someone will revert it, and you will only look "bad". If you feel his doing edits against the WikiPolicy, then we have proper actions to that. I hope that helps Slem. --Efe (talk) 03:44, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Well its just fine, if i only know about your nomination, I'll will support you on the way because you really deserve to be an admin, your such a good person at the same time wikipedian, and now Congratulations coz your now a certified Admin. Cheers! Wish you all the best! Good Luck! Wynchard Bloomcontact meMy work06:35, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Wynchard for a kind message. Hope that you can overcome your disputes with other users. Just stay guided by the WikiPolcy and you'll be alright. Drop me a message should you need my assistance. --Efe (talk) 06:40, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
On behalf of the community, thank you for submitting yourself to the trials of RfA and well done for coming through so well. Good luck with your new tools. You may find Wikipedia:New admin school useful, but don't be shy to ask other admins (or Crats) for help if in doubt.
Congratulations, Efe! I am very pleased that your RfA passed. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask me or another admin. In the meantime, here's your new shirt: it'll help. :) Best wishes. Acalamari21:49, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
OMG, congratulations on becoming an admin. Damn it, I can't believe I didn't get to voice my support. :( But, the people have spoken, so, congrats. :) -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)22:54, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Congrats. Don't let the opposers get you down (You'll encounter a lot more difficult editors in your tenure). By the way, I took the liberty of adding the admin globe in your userpage.--Lenticel(talk)00:01, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
I wasn't able to vote in time :( But that does not preclude me from saying...congratulations!!! You really deserved the AfD :D And for a reality check-cum-reminder, remember Peter Parker's Uncle Ben's motto: with great power comes great responsibility. Good luck on your future admin-related endeavours :) --- Tito Pao (talk) 07:11, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Huwow, I always thought you will pass your Rfa unlike Example. Hehe. Congrats, dude! Sorry if this one came late! Anyways, congratulations again. Axxand (talk) 12:05, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
A huge congrats on your rfa, i thought it would be greatly successful. Good luck with the mop and bucket and the admin's favourite cat! I'm sure you will do great Andy (talk) 20:35, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Mazel Tov that lad and of course I will continue to objectively disregard your distressing predilection for short-shelf-life, marginally talented and increasingly-plasticated artificially-extended-pubescent shit-thick pop tarts :) because I think you'll do a great job with the tools and that. All the best, Plutonium27 (talk) 07:55, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey! I'm sorry I missed your RfA, because I would have been more than happy to serve as a co-nom! It figures that I would miss something like that in a break away from the project :( Regardless of that, though, congratulations! --Winger84 (talk) 16:21, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
Just after you speedied Family nightclub I used twinkle to nominate it for AfD. This recreated the page with just the AfD tag on it. Could you delete it again please? Sorry to be a nuisance!
I want to apologize for my antagonizing start in Wikipedia and im sorry that i have brought you into it also. Anyways its good to see that you are an Administrator now and i have been waiting for this Chance so i could Congratulate you. Anyways, Congratulations and Well Done Efe!! :) Slemcal (talk) 01:55, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
No, its fine. I was once a newbie and had committed some silly stuffs. Anyway, good that you have been unblocked. Happy editing Slemcal. --Efe (talk) 04:13, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Hey admin Efe! I thought about redirecting, but after a brief search I'm not convinced that embroidered shawls are always manila shawls. I'm going to just redirect it to Shawl... if you know something about this that means it should direct to manila (I confess I am not a shawl expert), please let me know. FlyingToaster07:34, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, don't add admin, just Efe. Shawl is fine, in a broader sense, but Manila shawl is an embroidered shawl, so I thought of redirecting it there instead of deleting, and the fact that the editor wrote there "You can see Manila shawl". --Efe (talk) 07:44, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
I was joking about the admin title, just adding my congrats for the recent promotion and moppage. :) I think that all Manila shawls are embroidered shawls, but all embroidered shawls are not Manila shawls. FlyingToaster19:31, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
But my first reaction was kinda awkward. Anyway, thanks for that and so much for this. Let's get back to work. Yes, not all embroidered shawls and Manila shawls. I think its fine to redirect it to shawls to be safe, but why not ask the creator? --Efe (talk) 04:07, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
fyi, the user who has now been blocked for a large group of such nominations, by consensus at WP:AN/I. Deletion has been prevented, and please feel free to remove the notices. DGG (talk) 18:33, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Signpost updated for November 17, 2008 and before.
Because the Signpost hasn't been sent in a while, to save space, I've condensed all seven issues that were not sent into this archive. Only the three issues from November are below.
No problem, just helping a friend out. :) I know you would do the same. Listen, when "Talk" and "Fix You", *cross fingers*, become GAs, do you want to get X&Y to GT? -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)03:02, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Yep, yep. Same through with Parachutes. I would like to help you with the remaining X&Y singles, but it seems the tools keep me busy. But I will try doing some stuffs there, hopefully. --Efe (talk) 03:09, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, I guess you would have to nominate Parachutes, since you worked on the album and song reviews. I only helped with one song. I would appreciate the help with the last two X&Y songs, a whole lot. Man, are those tools taking up your time? -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)03:15, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Hopefully. The tools? Not necessarily; its just that I'm enjoying them, each day I learn how to use them prolifically. --Efe (talk) 03:22, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, let's have hope. ;) Ah, that makes sense. I thought that your Admin. work was taking some time out of your life. Guess not. Since, you just became Admin. its understandable to get used to the tools and stuff, so I've heard. So, have you decided what Beyoncé related article your gonna try to get to FA? -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)00:33, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Before, I was thinking of bringing "Crazy in Love" to FA status, so that each album will have two featured singles. But B'Day is somewhat more ready. --Efe (talk) 06:53, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Ooh, interesting. IMO, you should probably go with B'Day, if you say that its ready. Since, you got like two or three FA's for its singles, might qualify you to get it to Featured topic. Also, not to rush things, but after your done with your FA project, I think "Yellow" might suite as a FA candidate, its well sourced and a whole lot of info. is provided. Do you think that might work? -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)23:04, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
I'll be working on the article once I got Nights in Rodanthe ready for DYK. Well, "Yellow" was like ready when it got GA but it was this whole Beyonce thing that keeps me off. --Efe (talk) 23:10, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Hehe. Not really. My idea was to give another Beyonce-related article a try before going into other stuffs, like possible Coldplay FA(s). You know. --Efe (talk) 23:20, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Arrgh!!! You're giving me something to add on my load. Well, I don't know which one. But once the writing history of the song comes out in the internet, then that's the sign. Hopefully. --Efe (talk) 23:34, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
See, I hate falling for stuff like this. :P Man. So, I think there's progress with "Talk" being past and leaving both "Don't Panic" and "Fix You" to almost getting our next GT... almost. -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)02:40, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Scratch that, "Talk" passed, yay!!! We just need the two remaining songs. Absolutely, that works. You can do the honors with Parachutes and I can do with X&Y. :) -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)02:53, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Alright, I've done my part, and copied your message, and left the image, kinda took me a while to pick, but I stayed with that one. Let's see the progress of them. :) -- ThinkBlue (HitBLUE)20:36, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

No worries. Actually, gossip sites should be removed. I should have found a better source, so it's my fault. And sorry if I seemed pissed off. I was just mad because I watched the American Music Awards and one of my favourite artists lost in her category. Anyway, see you around. Orane(talk)04:16, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Its fine. My fault too, I was too fast. But my immediate idea was to remove because its only supported by a gossip site. Anyway, harm is done. --Efe (talk) 06:45, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
RE: "Umbrella" nomination
Hi - can I remove it from the list of nominees? I'll be away for a couple of days; when I return, I'll work on the article before resubmitting. Thanks for all your help. -- Atalk/contribs23:05, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Sir! May I please ask if you will still be willing to consider re-opening the appeal at the opportune time amid the intense Wiki and off-wiki personal battle (legal) between me, User:TheCoffee, User:Cma and Max? I admit that I had filed off-Wiki administrative school confidential case (verbal and still undergoing probe) against these 3 above, with reservation to file the Articles 19, 20 & 21, inter alia, of the our New Civil Code lawsuits for damages in our Courts. This is my legal right which is respected by Wikipedia. I admit that since last year I cursed these 3 and the entire Filipino Wikipedian community. I stand by my position. I thank all of you who have had faith in me amid all these bickering. My emails is judgefloro@yahoo.com I state that I never used any sockpuppet or alter amid accusations. I noticed that there is an ongoing multiple registration in order to create a case against me. That will fail. If you please desire to reply, then, please, to my email, or here, since my talk page is protected, I do not know if you can do so there.[2]
God Bless your family and the entire non-Filipino Wikipedia community. Sincerely, Judge Florentino V. Floro, Jr. (I am posting here at Netopia, Bulacan, with the IP address of this business cafe).[3]----124.106.80.18 (talk) 08:37, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
I am sorry Sir Floro. This issue has become so deep that it would be best to leave the discussion to other veteran admins, arbitrators, and b'crats. I have lots of stuffs to care of, and would take me time to review what has transpired prior to this message. Had I followed this "bickering", I would be glad to take part. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 08:43, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
What's your take on Beyonce's new album? Do you like it? Think it's her best? To tell the truth, I was a bit disappointed with it. The only song I liked was "Single Ladies...". I give it 2.5 stars out of 5. B'day is a good album, though; I give it 4/5.
First-week sales are a bit disappointing. The two released singles are good, IMO. Like the lyrics of "If I Were a Boy". I love other songs in the album, too, like "Radio" and "Halo". "Ave Maria" as well. But this album seems to fail the expectations of her fans. --Efe (talk) 23:09, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
What was the reason for the change you made to Linguistics? I can't see anything in the MoS on using "—" instead of "—", and it would be useful to know for future reference if there is some policy! I'd always thought that the latter was preferable, as it's clearer what dash it represents (whether different browsers don't necessarily distinguish very well between m-dashes and n-dashes). Thanks! garik (talk) 15:04, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
