Hey Diiscool. You Rock! Tanks 'fer 'splainin'. Buster7 has given you a cookie! Cookies promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. You can Spread the "WikiLove" by giving someone else a cookie, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. To spread the goodness of cookies, you can add {{subst:Cookie}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or eat this cookie on the giver's talk page with {{subst:munch}}! CSD A1Hi, I just noticed that you tagged RAIS ALLAH DITTA RIND for speedy deletion per CSD A1/notenglish. Please note that "insufficient context" does not apply to foreign language articles (unless you can speak Arabic and assess the content) and that "db-notenglish" is only applicable if there exists a corresponding article on another Wikipedia in a foreign language. New articles in languages other than English should simply be tagged with {{notenglish}} (note: there's no db-) and then listed at WP:PNT for translation, which is what you did too. If there's no progress in translation after 14 days such articles will be proposed for deletion anyway. Happy editing, De728631 (talk) 17:24, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Quest for Truth (talk) 15:17, 20 February 2011 (UTC) Reversion...?Hey, I'm wondering why you reverted this edit (with an edit summary of what?)? My change was simply removing an extra newline that was creating ugly blank space on the page (check the difference between my edit and the previous version). I don't see why you had to revert that edit, you could have just brought it up on my talk page. Anyways, I'm going to re-remove the extra blank line, unless you strongly object. (Could you leave a {{talkback}} on my talk page if you reply here? Thanks!) --- c y m r u . l a s s (talk me, stalk me) 20:07, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Buster Seven Talk Invisible comment outside --Persondata-- templateHi Diiscool: Thanks for backing me up at Laura Dekker, although I know that was not your intention. I have been having an edit war of sorts, with two anonymous ID's (most likely the same person). He went into 8 sailors' pages and moved an invisible comment found in
from the outside to the inside, as indicated in the above example taken from the Wikipedia:Persondata page. Here are the recent edits of User:75.47.132.78 and the earlier edits of User:75.47.137.104. The ones that you would be interested in are First change at Laura Dekker and Second change at Laura Dekker by the same individual. It appears that he has an obsession with following the example in the box above, like a robot, without realizing that the invisible comment is not only optional but also dispensable. I would normally go easy on a newbie, but I thought he should be stopped from making ridiculously useless edits, and told him so on both his Talk Pages -- in a nice way :-)
Help for a new userHi Diiscool. I came across a new editor who's interested in sailing and specifically (for now) the International Sailing Federation but he's running into problems because of the somewhat confusing structure of the content in this area. I've given him some general tips but guidance from someone working in this area would be a much better solution. You can check out User talk:Yachty4000 for details. Speculation in Abby SunderlandJust for your information, if you would have read the reference before making a snarky comment in the edit summary, you would have seen that the "speculation" was not from me, but was in the article. So don't make it look like I was speculating! You should have directed the insult to the author of the reference, Diane M. Rey, who even writes in the article that Abby Sunderland herself did the speculating: "She expects to get her pilot's license before she gets her driver's license." This was the last sentence in the article. Next time read the article before you make a foolish assessment of who did what. I did not speculate, I simply reworded what was in the article so no one could accuse me of "copy/paste." If Abby herself says something, I guess we are not to believe it? Hmmm... --Skol fir (talk) 19:40, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

When you say "the existing text is synth" also, do you mean just the sentence I edited? "In anticipation of criticism that the legislation was motivated by the upcoming election, the President noted that the election is fourteen months away and that Americans do not have the luxury of waiting fourteen months for jobs to be created. I agree, but I don't know what to do with it. I'm working patiently on talk page on another issue right now, but how exactly does someone "make a statement, under the anticipation of criticism that the legislation was motivated by the upcoming election" anyway? Here is the version back when it was in the lead-in! I moved it down on Sept 30th here and was just as confused about what to do. The whole section is being discussed on the talk page, so if you want to drop by, we'd appreciate your input. Thanks, 완젬스 (talk) 21:29, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

One look at his user page shows an editor hard at work creating the quality encyclopedia that our readers expect. Almost 4500 edits with 78% in article space. He showed up at Timeline of the Presidency of Barack Obama (2009) in early 2010 (we have worked in tandem since then) and has been a very active participant in monitoring and editing all 4 subsequent Timeline articles. With his guidance and demeanor, the Timeline articles have remained stress and trouble free...not an easy task for any editor working/involved in political articles. He does not involve himself in Drama. ```Buster Seven Talk You can copy the following text to your user page to display a user box proclaiming your selection as Editor of the Week: {{subst:Wikipedia:WikiProject Editor Retention/Editor of the Week/Recipient user box}} Thanks again for your efforts! --Go Phightins! 01:55, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 10Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of shipwrecks in 2013, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page River Dee (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. It currently resides at User:Buster7/The McCormick Mansions of Chicago which is really just a collection of info that Ive gathered from here and there. Obviously the info needs to be turned into prose w/ photos and an infobox, etc. It was intended to be my first REAL article project as Ive created only a very few little articles over time but nothing substantial. I feel a need and urgency to involve myself in the real work of creating an encyclopedia rather the dramaboards. The Timelines are still a priority (for at least 3 more years). The Editor of the Week awards are also important. I'll still fight vandals when I see them, greet newbies when I can, give out the 100000K Awards and be a calming voice where I can. There is no rush to this request and, of course, no obligation. After almost 5 years maybe its time for me to get down to some real work. ```Buster Seven Talk 21:46, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
