Hi, David, I need help...Hi, David! Since I admire your great work on "Da Wiki," I was wondering if you could help me out with Broken Sword. Since all of the installment articles are already GAs, only the series' main article needs to be promoted to GA. I was wondering if you could review it, or if you're too busy, atleast give me some advice on how to improve it. :) All the very Best, --Khanassassin ☪ 16:55, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Tuvix reviewI've already posted at WT:TREK about having WikiProject members take a look at the Tuvix article. However, I really think you're one of our go-to guys for Star Trek featured articles, and would like to specifically ask for your editorial perusal of the article. I'd really appreciate it! Thanks for your time and attention. — fourthords | =Λ= | 02:03, 5 June 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 04 June 2012

Main page appearance: Star Trek III: The Search for SpockThis is a note to let the main editors of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on June 14, 2012. You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/June 14, 2012. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or his delegate Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), or start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. The blurb as it stands now is below:

Request for adminstrator assistanceHow are you? It has been a while, I'm gladd your still at it so rigorously! I'm still around on Wikipedia on occasion. I tried creating a new article by copying some of the text as a basis to create an article, calledEureqa, and an admin named User:Fuhghettaboutit deleted it. Perhaps it was a fair point that the text needed to be modified, or removed, but he has refused to restore the article for me to improve. and now, he has deleted a Wikipedia Good Article unilaterally and with no consultation, Mark Twain House. I need some assistance on this issue, could you or another admin help? Thanks. In fact, I really think someone should start going through his contribution history to see if he has a record of deleting other Good Articles on very weak grounds and without any warning or communication of the issues involved, speedy deletion of articles are not for notable articles, let alone Good ones. Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:
It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve. At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange). Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot. If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! RfAr/Perth remediesNot meant as lobbying, just as clarification, but did you mean to outright support both "Gnangarra admonished" (remedy 5) and "Gnangarra desysopped" (remedy 6), or to post a first and second choice as you did with Kwamikagami (remedies 3 and 4)? However, I would say that from other sources I have seen, the figures are all very similar to one another, and therefore I find it hard to imagine that if these different sources are all quoting similar figures that they've all managed to get them wrong. Re. Peer review for Forced evictions in BakuIt's interesting you should mention the background section as being the aspect of the article that is most lacking. I had actually reduced the amount of text being used in that section just six days ago on recommendation from Khazar2 (his sentiments were very similar to yours with regards to what the background section ought to include). This is what it looked like prior. However, I agree that the #1 thing which needs to be improved upon is elaborating on the run-up to the evictions/demolitions. I do think the situation merits its own separate article, although I'm not sure if other people would agree with me on that point — the country's human rights article already does have a subsection regarding the expropriations, but I think the information could be covered in more extensive detail on its own article. In any case, thank you for the taking the time to give a peer review to my article, I appreciate it. Kurtis (talk) 05:16, 24 August 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 27 August 2012

Backstage at the Smithsonian Libraries is part of Wikipedia Loves Libraries 2012, the second annual continent-wide campaign to bring Wikipedia and libraries together with on-site events. Running this fall through October and November, libraries (and archives) will open their doors to help build a lasting relationship with their local Wikipedian community. Organized by Wikimedia DC, this event will take place on October 12, 2012, and will include new editor training, a "backstage pass" tour of the National Museum of Natural History, and an edit-a-thon. WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)Hello, you are receiving this message because you are currently a participant of WikiProject Good articles. Since the creation of the WikiProject, over 200 user's have joined to help review good article nominations and contribute to other sections of the WikiProject. Over the years, several of these users have stopped reviewing articles and/or have become inactive with the project but are still listed as participates. In order to improve communications with other participants and get newsletters sent out faster (newsletters will begin to be sent out monthly starting in October) all participants that are no longer active with the WikiProject will be removed from the participants list. If you are still interested in being a participant for this WikiProject, please sign your user name here and please help review some articles so we can reduce the size of the backlog. If you are no longer interested, you do not need to sign your name anywhere and your name will be removed from the participants list after the deadline. Remember that even if you are not interested at this time, you can always re-add your name to the list whenever you want. The deadline to sign your name on the page above will be November 1, 2012. Thank-you. 13:24, 22 September 2012 (UTC) Update for: WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)Sorry for having to send out a second message but a user has brought to my attention that a point mentioned in the first message should be clarified. If user's don't sign on this page, they will be moved to an "Inactive Participants" list rather then be being removed from the entire WikiProject. ReachI've left some comments at the FAC, too bad it has gotten so little attention. Mark Arsten (talk) 20:52, 28 September 2012 (UTC) Hello David--I just made an edit or two to the article, moving a (useful) external link into the article. I'm not sure I'm following the proper format, but I'm not sure if there still is a proper format: it seems like the referencing system may have gotten to be inconsistent since I think I'm seeing, for instance, journal articles cited in the references and in the footnotes. Hi David. I just recently noticed "Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary" not being up to GA status nor is it part of the Halo media topic. I know you are working on getting Reach to FA status so I'm just letting you know about this. Just amazed its been nearly a year and no one noticed this. Requested third opinionHey, David. You haven't been involved with Dota 2 or its talk page hardly at all, so I figured you might be able to give a fair and neutral opinion on this matter. The story is that this editor, Unflavoured, is pushing for only the Dota 2 page to say "action real-time strategy" for its genre, even if no other pages use it and even if the consensus is that pages should be designated as MOBAs, per consensus. His rationale is that since Valve calls Dota 2 an ARTS, that the article should be called that. My reasoning is that such a permanent addition would be counter-intutive to the decisions we've made via consensus and that simply because a company designates their game with a certain name does not mean that it needs to be called it on Wikipedia. Could you give your fair opinion on this matter? DarthBotto talk•cont 00:56, 24 October 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 22 October 2012
