WikiProject Wikify and the future of wikificationHi! There is an ongoing proposal at the project talkpage concerning the future of wikification, including possible deprecation of the {{wikify}} template which is being discussed at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2012 August 10. Your input would be greatly appreciated! You are receiving this message because you are listed as an active member of the wikify project. To update your status, go here. I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Good start! I would recommend expanding the lead section, giving this article a good copy-edit, and reformatting your references to a more consistent and standard style. Let me know if I can help! The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Fisheriesmgmt (talk) 17:44, 26 February 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 27Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited LCBC, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Swatara Township, Pennsylvania. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. BrownHi, You flagged the article for Marianne C. Brown for issues. I think I understand the issues, though not 100%. I read the policies, but I am still not sure, and would like to ask for some help or advise. I wasn't sure if the correct etiquette is to ask you, or try asking at a help place, like the Teahouse. Your advise would be greatly appreciated. Besenok (talk) 13:50, 21 March 2015 (UTC) Hi, Sweet water Zen CenterThanks for tagging the subjective wording. I attributed the language to the source. I can't see any points in the narrative now that are unreferenced or nonfactual.Ndoshinw (talk) 20:34, 30 January 2016 (UTC)ndoshinw
Hi Daniel, and thanks for your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Xenia Deli (2nd nomination). Please see my reply there. ArbCom 2019 election voter messageDisambiguation link notification for February 8Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lyon College, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Provost and Baccalaureate (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) Simon Fuller articleThank you, Daniel, for your message. I’m writing regarding Simon Fuller’s Wikipedia page. It’s not entirely accurate, concise, nor up to date, and several citations contain dead links. As you've mentioned, I have a COI as I work for Mr Fuller, so we’d like ask how to clean the page of irregularities (repetition, out of date claims, dead citations, promotion of other individuals, poor use of language) and then lock it? The edits I’d like to suggest contain citations for factual support to comply with Wiki editing protocols. They retain a neutral POV, use non-judgemental language, and are drawn from only reliable, published sources. Wikipedia states that editors with close association may be in conflict if they contribute to an article in a manner that removes relevant, well-sourced information. I’ve not done this. I have rearranged existing information to make the text more concise. I have included below a section to demonstrate my edit, which can be compared with the version online.
Fuller managed the Spice Girls through the peak of their 1990s success and he remains in partnership with the five girls today.[33][34] Under Fuller’s guidance, the Spice Girls rose to chart topper status worldwide and went on to sell over 85 million records.[35][36]
Fuller managed the Spice Girls through the peak of their 1990s success and he remains in partnership with the five girls today.[34][35] Under Fuller’s guidance, the Spice Girls became a marketing phenomenon, rose to chart topper status worldwide and went on to sell over 85 million records.[36][37] In 2002 Fuller's company discovered 19-year-old Amy Winehouse, produced her first award-winning album and signed her to Universal Music.[32]
