Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Archdeacon of the East Riding, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Malet Lambert (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 18:06, 2 June 2013 (UTC) Happy First Edit Day 2024Southend ArchdeaconryRedirects for baby XCan you explain why you created over 100 redirects for a baby who is not yet born? Most of these are not even something anybody would type, e.g. "Prince/ss X of England". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.232.61.43 (talk) 06:29, 19 June 2013 (UTC) - Some of the redirects are for titles that don't exist, Prince/ss of England, Cambridge and Wales are not titles that they child will hold at birth. Certainly Prince/ss of the United Kingdom (of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and also HRH Lord/Lady X Marquess/Marquess of Cambridge (as a courtesy title from HRH The Duke of Cambridge). TemplateData is hereHey DBD I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :). So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere. What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default. The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 12:00, 22 July 2013 (UTC) Son of the Duke and Duchess of CambridgeI'm curious why you reverted my edits to the styles of the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge? It has been established by letters patent that the child's style will be His Royal Highness Prince XX, and by precedent that "of Cambridge" will be after his given name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JamesReyes (talk • contribs) 20:15, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
Earl of StrathearnI see you added a source from a press release on the website of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. It comes from an authoritative source so I will leave it at that. I'd still be curious for a more 'official' confirmation though, because press releases aren't always accurate when it comes to stuff like this. But thank you for adding them! Gerard von Hebel (talk) 13:22, 24 July 2013 (UTC) Prince of CambridgeHello, DBD. You have new messages at Trajanis's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template. Redirects for Prince George of CambridgeYou jumped the gun when your created most of these redirects. Almost all of them have absolutely no longterm encyclopedic value. There is no way you could have possibly thought that in 5 years that "Prince/ss Y" or "Prince/ss X of Cambridge" could possibly be searched for with the intention of finding Prince George of Cambridge. We knew we would find out the name of the royal baby within the week so it seems a bit silly to have created all of those just to have them deleted. Just thought I should let you know.
