Hi Crazytales56297, congradualtions on being selected/nominated/thrown into the position of Judge for the Esperanza Caption Competition! I tis importanat that you know that:
Scores will be given out of Ten (Fifty toatal from Five judges). For:
Originality (2)
Humor (6)
Image choice (2)
The winner; as well as being given a year supply of Coffee and a years supply of lounge will recive the DFRTurnip Tropy®. But then, it's not about the wining or the fabulous Turnip, it's about having a go and having some fun. Today it is the 4th so, perhaps on the 13th, it should close. That should be enough time. Judging can begin then and go for two days. It would be great if lots of people, not just those who frequent the Coffee lounge get to see and enter.
I am still working it out. Scores could be expressed perhaps in a box:
With you taking a long break - will you still be able to judge the competion? We may need to find a new Judge, if you are unavaliable. Thanks, Dfrg.msc1 . 2 . 322:24, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Crazytales56297. I'd like to say that though Wikipedia isn't censored, the profanity on your signature (There is no fucking cabal) is quite offensive. While I cannot force you to do anything, I ask you to remove this and replace it with something less profane. Thanks. bibliomaniac1501:54, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the article User:Jade59, which you tagged for speedy deletion with the reason "WP:DENY", I wanted you to know that I have removed the speedy deletion tag. This article does not qualify for speedy deletion because WP:DENY is an essay, not a policy and certainly not a criterion for speedy deletion. If you still want the article to be deleted, please use the WP:MFD process. Thanks! Stifle (talk) 18:40, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've checked, and Green Day only has seven albums. You stated that they have nine. Please state to me all of Green Day's albums, and I will believe you. Hello211222:55, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Crazytales56297! Thank you for supporting me in my RfA, which succeeded with a final tally of 75/0/1! I hope I can live up to the standards of adminship, and I will try my best to make Wikipedia a better place. Feel free to send me a message if you need any assistance. :)
Thank you Crazytales, for your fine compliments. I need it so badly, especially after a spate of recent hammering, LOL. — PM Poon17:52, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Lindsey Shaw.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a free image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell(talk) (random)18:22, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Chris, thanks a lot for supporting me in my recent RfA. It succeeded, and I am very grateful to all of you. If you ever need help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, feel free point out any mistakes I make! Thanks again, —Khoikhoi04:14, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which succeeded with a final tally of (97/4/4)! I've never been able to accept compliments gracefully, and the heavy support from this outstanding community left me at a complete loss for words -- so, a very belatedthank you for all of your kind words.
I have done and will continue to do the utmost to serve the community in this new capacity, wherever it may take me, and to set an example others might wish to follow in. With a little luck and a lot of advice, this may be enough. Maybe someday the enwiki admins of the future will look back and say, "Yeah, that guy was an admin." Hopefully then they don't start talking about the explosive ArbComm case I got tied into and oh what a drama that was, but we'll see, won't we?
Surely some of you have seen me in action by now; with that in mind, I openly invite and welcome any feedback here or here -- help me become the best editor and sysop I can be.
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!! I scored higher than you on the wikipediholic test, even though you have been on for like a year more than me! HAHAHAHA!!lolz...but seriously, when are you going to run for admin? do you want a nom or what? you should go for it. --teh tennismanSpeak your piece!People Person!02:23, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Admin Coaching needs coaches!!! If you are an administrator, or even a generally experienced user, do consider signing up to be a coach.
Admin Coaching, now being coordinated by HighwayCello, is a program for people who want help learning some of the more subtle aspects of Wikipedia policy and culture. People are matched with experienced users who are willing to offer coaching. The program is designed for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.
What's New?
The Tutorial Drive is a new Esperanza program! In an effort to make complicated processes on Wikipedia easier for everyone, Esperanza working to create and compile a list of tutorials about processes here on Wikipedia. Consider writing one!
A discussion on how Esperanza relates to the encyclopedia has been started; please add your thoughts.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
The list of proposed programs has been updated, with some proposals being archived.
There is now a new program: the Tutorial Drive! Consider writing a tutorial on something you are good at doing on Wikipedia.
The suggestion of adding a cohesive look to all the Esperanza pages is being considered; join the discussion if you are interested!
In order to make a useful interlanguage welcome template, those involved in translation projects will be asked what English Wikipedia policies are most important and confusing to editors coming from other language Wikipedias.
Shreshth91 informed everyone that he will be leaving the Esperanza council as life is rather busy; his spot will be filled by the runner up from the last election, HighwayCello.
Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.
am I able to install it on only one account, or must it be system-wide on the computer; I assume this is a stupid Q and that it is system wide though. --teh tennismanSpeak your piece!People Person!
You're not an admin, right? (You're userpage is in the cat. "admin hopefuls.") You shouldn't have closed this. Non-admins should never close anything as no consensus -- only outright keep. Even then, non-admins should never close anything disputed, and this is borderline. MfD is also not a good place for non-admins to close, as the issues can be more complicated than AfD. I admire the eagerness :), but this wasn't the best thing to do. Best wishes, Xoloz16:28, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He didn't even close it. I did, as a keep. He then changed it, with no explanation. Not that it's much of a problem now; just try to explain why you're doing what you're doing in future. JDtalk17:34, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the thing more closely, I see that he closed it only two minutes after you, J Di, so perhaps he was unaware of your close. Still, he really shouldn't have done it. I'd pretty strongly insist that Crazytales lay off closing XfDs until he gains adminship. Best wishes, Xoloz20:57, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your input. I ran into an edit conflict with the MFD close, so I clicked save. I wasn't aware that I overwrote JD's closing the MfD. Sorry for any confusion that might have occurred. ~crazytales56297O rly?13:13, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Re: Coito ergo sum
It's not a typo, if that's what you get at. Since someone figured it out, I will probably change it. Thanks for at least noticing, however. Later! --Jayron3216:08, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
