I think it's nearly there. I'm gonna have a quick look through the article tomorrow incase. Maybe it needs a peer review first though. -- JɑɱǐεJcɑ03:33, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
You couldn't by any chance help me find a reference for "Judah Friedlander was cast as the staff writer of The Girlie Show, Frank Rossitano.[citation needed]" please? I'm not sure if it should be a reference about the actual casting or just one that randomly says "Judah Friedlander plays Frank in 30 Rock" or something like that. -- JɑɱǐεJcɑ22:21, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
I've removed the Janel Maloney thing, it seems very trivial and it's slighty POV aswell. I'll submit it for GA now. -- JɑɱǐεJcɑ13:00, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Hey. I was wondering whether or not we should just go ahead and create the 30 Rock taskforce that I proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#30 Rock. Other shows have gone ahead and created taskforces without much support from the proposals page, The OC and the Arrested Development forces for example. -- JɑɱǐεJcɑ23:47, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Great work on Jack-Tor. Didn't expect there to be that much production. The only problem was that Rachel Dratch didn't appear in that episode, I removed the paragraph about her. I'll add a screenshot later today. -- JɑɱǐεJcɑ13:05, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
I know that we're still doing the episode articles, but if we both get some free time, what do you think of tidying up the 30 Rock main page? I mean, it can't be that far from FA. Feel free to say no, but I thought I would ask. -- [User]JamieJCA[Talk]00:27, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
I've just expanded the production section on Pilot (30 Rock) as per comments on the FAC. Most of it is from the main page, but with some edits. Could you please go through and try and find any problems in it please? Thanks. -- [User]JamieJCA[Talk]22:07, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah. I heard about Jennifer Aniston, i'm sure she'll be great in the show.
Could you by any chance help find more production information, if you have time, for The Fighting Irish because the reviewer has said that they'll fail it if more production isn't added. I'm looking at the moment. Thanks. -- [User]JamieJCA[Talk]19:55, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
For having a good work ethic towards editing and working on various television related articles and getting them up to Good Article or even Featured Article level. It is also for contributions to the 30 Rock articles you have been working on recently. JɑɱǐεJcɑ14:06, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi Cornucopia. I just got home from vacationing in beautiful southern Maine with my my family. It was great! How are things going with you? Did you watch the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics in Beijing? I did, and was in complete awe. It was the best opening ceremony for the Olympics I've ever seen! I was so amazed as how all those performers were able to memorize every move. One mistake, and it could ruin the whole show. It was so cool! --♥Soccer5525♥Talk To Me!19:16, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
I don't think any other ceremony can top it or will. Maybe far into the future yes, but for now, it's the best. Do you know were they'll be held next year? And also, did you change your signature? --♥Soccer5525♥Talk To Me!12:17, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Ahhh, it's so good to be back on Wikipedia. School started for me on Tues., so it's been a long week. But it's great being a junior at high school. From what I hear, it's almost as good as being a senior, which surprised me. --♥Soccer5525♥Talk To Me!20:15, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:FreighterExplosion.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:FreighterExplosion.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for doing some great work on this article. Pretty much the only area that really could use more work is the Production section, and then the WP:LEAD section could be adjusted accordingly afterwards. Do you think you could add any sourced information in the Production section to balance out the Saturday Night Live cast stuff? While that stuff is interesting, it seems more to be something that is ubiquitous to 30 Rock, and not unique to that one episode. Cheers, Cirt (talk) 04:14, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
No worries, you've been doing some good work there. I know production info is the toughest stuff to find, but there's gotta be something out there in sources other than just that cast info. Cirt (talk) 08:33, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Your Doing great work.
Hi man, I just stopped by to say that you're doing some great work, I wanted to give you another barnstar, but I'm to lazy to do that right now. So go on with your work. --Music26/1120:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Christina Milian
I skimmed through the article and it looks good. Aside from giving references to the two lines, it would be better if you expand the musical and lyrical aspect of the album. Generally, a GA-worthy article. --Efe (talk) 07:52, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Clark doesn't have a similar one. None of the promotional pictures of Clark actually look like him in the series. They look like Tom Welling just dressed up for a photo shoot. No where in the series has he ever looked like those promotional images (the single ones, not the ones of him and the other actors). We shouldn't be using images that "look prettier", but don't actually provide an accurate representation of the character in the show. Trust me, I'm still steadily looking for better images. BIGNOLE (Contact me)01:58, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Crap, I wasn't even paying attention to that. There are plenty of images of him on the season seven DVDs. When I get a chance I'll see if I can round up a few screencaptures and see how they look. Oh yeah, I replaced the Chloe Sullivan image earlier as well. BIGNOLE (Contact me)02:21, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
"At the time she was cast as Lana, Kreuk had no idea who the character was in Superman lore." -- This seems the most "interesting". Maybe word it like, "Did you know that when Kristin Kreuk was cast as Lana Lang, in the television show Smallville, that she had no idea who her character was in Superman lore?" -- maybe. BIGNOLE (Contact me)05:11, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
If the information warrants it, but I find that a "Reception" section (especially those in the articles you linked) tends to collect information that could easily be placed in other sections. If you're talking about how good an actor is in the role, that can fit in their respective sections (e.g. Section title "Kristin Kreuk", "Allison Mack", or "Tom Welling"). If you're speaking about how a character acts, then it's probably better for the character development section. It's hard to "review" a character, as most of that information is actually a review of an episode or season. Lionel currently has a one sentence bit in there, because I couldn't find another section for it. So, again, if the information warrants it. None of these pages are done, by far. BIGNOLE (Contact me)05:32, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, Chloe will be a bit longer because I don't have her Smallville appearance stuff already done (like I did the other characters). Yeah, I'll probably get back to work on the season pages (season 2 and 3 are virtually done, as far as production info goes). Then I'll contemplate whether or not the Smallville: Chloe Chronicles page warrants a page (right now it's just plot from the webisodes), or if I can merge it into the main page. At the same time, I'll try and find information to expand those two new sections I placed on the main Smallville page, as well as work at trimming and tightening the prose over at Characters of Smallville (to get it ready for review). BIGNOLE (Contact me)05:40, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
There's still a lot the I think could/needs to be added for all of them. I think that Chloe and Clark are probably the easiest to get through GAC (though, I don't like those Newsarama sources, and I'm sure they'll come under fire). BIGNOLE (Contact me)03:18, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
My standards are my standards, they'll never change. I didn't say, "don't go nominate them". I merely explained why I had not done so. You are by all means free to do so yourself if you feel they are ready. BIGNOLE (Contact me)03:32, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Trust me, there's nothing going on with any of the pages except looking for more third-party sources (all the primary sources, minus the new companion novel that is due out here soon, have been exhausted). The only thing that will be added to the article will be expanded info on the sections already there, and, maybe, but not definitely, a "reception" section. BIGNOLE (Contact me)04:23, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Just glancing over it, it looks good. I cannot think of anything off the top of my head, but I didn't "read-read" it. Prose can always be tightened up (that seems to be a never ending battle, no matter what quality rating the page has). I'm sure that if it's missing something major, that the FAC (or Peer Review if you haven't done one, which I recommend before doing a FAC) will reveal it. BIGNOLE (Contact me)05:41, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi Cornucopia, I've started a page in order to get Lost (TV series) cast members up to Featured or Good Topic status. If you're interested in joining, see this page. --Music26/1115:14, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Yeah, I noticed your mention of it on Bignole's talk page and just thought I'd click through for a read. If anything leaps out at me at first glance, it's just what he mentioned: the prose could perhaps use another couple of passes, especially to clarify a couple of points that non-US readers might be unfamiliar with (e.g. the casual mention of "fall television"). Other than that, if there's anything more on the series' international reception and performance, that should go in (though I would imagine these sources might be hard to come by for a series that—in the UK at least—aired on a little-watched digital channel). All the best, SteveT • C08:18, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Already ahead of you. Right now, I'm not concerned with it entirely, as the rest of the sections still could use some tightening and her removal won't drop the page's count by more than about 8kb. I'll know more when the season seven companion book is released. Plus, I found a couple of interviews with cast and crew about her character. We may just have something for spinning her off. She won't have as much IU info as the rest of the characters because she's never appeared in any of their other media stuff. BIGNOLE (Contact me)13:37, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Re: The Descent
Thanks for your praise for Doomsday! I chose to focus on that article because I thought that it would not garner a lot of coverage, making expansion easier. The Descent is obviously a more popular film (my, how far Marshall has fallen) as reflected by the resources on the talk page. I'd love to keep expanding the article, but I do not have much time for article-building these days. :) I try to focus on community issues at the moment instead. Veronica Mars DYK
Hi there. I totally understand your frustration. The same thing happened to me once with one of my early DYKs. Unfortunately it's not really a rule that is flexible. I wouldn't feel comfortable including your late article and then denying other people's articles for being late. In order to be fair to everyone it's important that all articles are evaluated in the same way and held to the same standard. In future be more careful please.Nrswanson (talk) 08:21, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Season page
As far as I'm aware of there is only 1 season article that is FA, that is the Smallville one. All of the rest are (or should be) FL, because of the information they present (which is just lists of crew members and cast members and episodes). If the majority of your information is prose content (and I mean real prose, not just a list structed into the form of a sentence like how Lost (season 2) is). From what I can see on your page, it looks like you have an article and not a list page on your hands.
As a side note, I would put the episodes first and separate the DVD release information. That stuff isn't production info. Another thing, don't repeat the same information on every page. You don't need to reintroduce characters that were introduced in the first episode. Readers are not likely to "stumble" onto an article on the third season of Veronica Mars and not have read the first two season pages (or at least already know the primary character). If there are some, then I would leave it as characters introduced this season instead of basically repeating the same information over and over again on each page. Cancellation and future should be its own thing. BIGNOLE (Contact me)03:24, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Um, you'll have to connect the years of the season to the time of the award. Clearly, there were no season three awards in 2005, and they wouldn't award a season one award in 2007. If say Bell was nominated for a Saturn Award in 2005, and then again in 2006, then you know that those awards occur at the end of the TV series. As far as I can tell for season three on IMDb's list, the only award for that season was the 2007 Saturn Award. Now, that doesn't include those couple of awards you found that IMDb doesn't list, but those Teen Choice Awards you have listed seem to actually be for season two. BIGNOLE (Contact me)04:45, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
It depends on the editors you get at the FAC, and what they say. Personally, I would be against the repetition of the same information across the pages, because it appears that you have plenty of season three info to support the page (I don't know because I haven't read it all). You should probably replace the image in the box with one of the season three DVD. Again, the episodes really should come first because they provide the context needed for all of the real world information you're presenting for the season. If a particular episode got an award then, in theory of how people read (top to bottom), they would have read the synopsis for the episode in question and had a somewhat better understanding of why it won. I would also go through and even out the detail in the plot descriptions. You have some that are a couple of sentences, and others that are 4 or 5. They should be relatively even across the board (at least the same range). BIGNOLE (Contact me)14:32, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. I will try to get the review done as soon as possible, but I have exams as well, so it may take a little longer than expected. Never been to the Aus Open, either, so that should be cool. Have you ever been? —97198 (talk)06:48, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
Definitely worth a download, if you do enjoy that kind of film. It was never released here, but I love it more every time I see it. And yes, it would be weird to do a reviewer role reversal - I feel weird already just nominating my own article! —97198 (talk)13:21, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Re: Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/30 Rock (season 2)
Good find with those award nominations. Noms are the hardest thing to locate, because if you don't win people really don't care that you were nominated. Unfortunately, we cannot use the BuddyTV page. It's user edited. I just registered to test it, and I had full access to edit each of those sections. BIGNOLE (Contact me)01:00, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Reception isn't really "awards". Awards are based on acting ability, not whether a critic liked her in the role. I've give it some thought, because it could help the other articles beef up their minny reception sections. The 2006 TCA is already sourced, so the second link we don't need. I say, go ahead and use it. It's a reporting of uncontroversial material, so it should be ok. While you're at it, why don't you go ahead and test the waters by moving the awards down to the reception section. Let's see how it looks there. BIGNOLE (Contact me)01:55, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
I didn't know about the award. I was basing all my searches off of what IMDb listed, which just goes to prove why we shouldn't be using IMDb to source all awards. Apparently, About.com didn't list it among the awards. List it anyway, and use your second source as a double referencer alongside the one we already have. BIGNOLE (Contact me)02:18, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, to keep the nay sayers at bay with their "Where's the reception info" (which, is odd that that has gotten brought up twice and a simple rearranging of information cools it all down...makes me think how carefully are they really reading the page). Anyway, the translated version is better. Otherwise, people could question whether or not we translated the page right. BIGNOLE (Contact me)02:40, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't see much there. You could probably use it to cite how fans disliked the character and wanted her gone from the show. Without the author's name it's hard to cite anything he/she says on their personal opinion. You cannot use the Benthem stuff, because that's just the writer posting one of his friend's opinion. Unless they are themselves some sort of writer for a newspaper (which I doubt, as he would have sourced it to their article), it's basically just a "fan" opinion that he is reposting based on the fact that they are his/her friend. Excellent. Best of luck for the list's nomination, and best of luck on your work for Mahone. I certainly admire your enthusiasm on the project :) -- Matthew R Dunn (talk) 15:34, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Happy birthday! I was away on the day in question, but I don't really have an excuse for leaving this till now after I'd got back. (But better late than never!) Cakes are kind of hard to send across cyberspace, so I left you some extra-special birthday comments at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/Prison Break (season 2)... and I promise to support if you can fix those things up. ;) Though I see your birthplace recently changed from France to New Zealand - who knows if this really is was your birthday? Hope you had a great day regardless! —97198 (talk)12:21, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
LOL, I'm on Oct 9... there's still a while to wait. The little holiday was good, thanks - a house in the middle of the bush with no TV, no internet and no phone lines/reception! Again, hope your day was great! —97198 (talk)14:03, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
That zebra cake in the picture does look very tasty... could be hard to top :) Still not quite sure how I figured that whole survival thing out! I was just about to hit the hay for the day, but I'll take a look at that FLC in the morning! Sleep well, —97198 (talk)14:16, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
I can definitely relate to the holiday sleeping patterns! I'm sure if I'd woken up yesterday at the same time I did today, I would've been up a lot later last night! And I bet that snoring is a good excuse for staying up (and sleeping in)... not that you need one, I bet ;) Anyway, just supported the FLC. —97198 (talk)00:24, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Happy belated birthday, even if I am not entirely convinced that December 14 is your birthday. One would think that you would change the relevant userbox. –thedemonhogtalk • edits00:37, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the message. :D Yes, it is my real birthday; the age on my userbox is not. :S Also, good find on that picture, although I do not believe in the Greek Gods (I believe in one God). Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion00:47, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Friends
With what you're doing here, I do have a photo of the apartment building in New York that they used for all the establishing shots (even though it was filmed in California). I didn't add it into the article before because there was no substantial info on "the Friends building" as I hear it's known. Let me know if it would actually fit in, and I'll upload it to Commons. Oh, and good luck with the article... and the gazillions of others you seem to have going! —97198 (talk)11:27, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
Hey there. I was looking through your edits, and wondered, "Why aren't you an admin?" You seem the epitome of adminship: calm, methodical, and helpful. I know you haven't really focused on admin-related things at all, judging from your edit history, but you must have run into things that you needed to get an admin to help you with. Do you think you would consider requesting adminship? - NuclearWarfarecontact meMy work 03:34, 21 December 2008 (UTC) I'd be willing to co-nom you - NuclearWarfarecontact meMy work03:53, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the kind words. :) At the moment, as NuclearWarfare mentioned, I haven't really been focusing on admin-related things. I prefer to just focus on article building and so on. I don't really need the admin tools, atm, but if I ever do, I'll know who to contact. I appreciate the thought. :D Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion03:56, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
I just signed in support of Jclemens's proposed Veronica Mars task force and, as I note by my signature, I doubt I'd be able — time-wise — to actively help with the articles though I should be able to build the task force page, sub-pages, and templates to "your" specifications in little-to-no time. Jclemens suggested I contact you regarding these matters. I've already created a userbox for the task force since I had an idea for one; but I can easily modify it for use in another project if such ground has already been covered. You can check out my version at: User:Hornoir/User Veronica Mars task force. Please feel free to post to my talk page regarding these matters. Thank you. hornoir(talk)22:57, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. Jclemens implied that you started work on a task force page, so I didn't want to step on any toes… but you seem to indicate I should go nuts in the creation process; thus I assume not much was actually composed yet. Should I create the page as a proper subpage of Wikipedia:WikiProject Television or make a dummy on my user account pages and then move it after completion? I'll start with the templates (on my user space) and move on from there. Oh, and just to be clear, using the userboxes at this point will eventually link to a dead page when the content is moved to a permanent location for the template. hornoir(talk)01:30, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
For now, I'll work it up on my user subpages and let you and Jclemens approve it prior to official posting. By the way, the This user being converted to the username on the boxes seemed to go amiss, but I fixed it. Unfortunately, now all the example ones read my username… which is okay until it is moved to template space when it goes live. If you refresh your main user page (edit and save without changing anything), the change in userbox should occur immediately. hornoir(talk)02:09, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
By the way, if you have suggestion for other userbox texts (for other characters or other phrases for the ones I already did), it is quite easy to update/expand the template to include them. Just message me the suggestions. hornoir(talk)02:21, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
I've managed to find some stuff to add, and I'm just about to look through podcast transcripts and see if I can find anything interesting. I was thinking in the development section there could probably be some kind of mention about Rousseau being French although the actress is Croatian, and so in the French dubbed episodes she is known as the crazy German. Also that the voice on the radio transmission is not Mira Furlan's. Although all of that is OR I'm sure there are sources out there for that I just haven't looked. Sanders11 (talk) 19:41, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
There's an interview with Mira Furlan on youtube (here) that has a bunch of stuff that could be added to the article, I have no idea how it would be referenced though. Sanders11 (talk) 23:29, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
I think it's almost ready, just a few little things. The thing about Young Rousseau is referenced to an image and I'm sure that would need to be referenced properly, but I'm reluctant to go digging because I don't want to be spoiled on the details. In the infobox her age is listed as 44, but I can't think if it's been mentioned in some way on the show or if it's speculation. Also the other Lost character articles have a personality section but I really hate writing them and don't know if they are really necessary. I can't find a link to the podcast that I added, and it's referenced as Official Lost Audio Podcast whereas the other podcast is referenced as The Official Lost Video Podcast; I'm not sure which is right. Beyond that I think it's fine for a GAN. Sanders11 (talk) 14:15, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Good luck I'm sure it will pass no problem. I'm gonna go through the arc and see if I can trim it a bit, cause I think it's a little bit long. Merry Christmas if you celebrate it and if it's not too late which I think it might be? Sanders11 (talk) 13:39, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Heh that's where I got the quote from :P I'm sure the GA reviewer won't like it though since anyone can edit that page, and to be fair they might have made a mistake whilst copying it down so the quote in the article may not be accurate, but I have faith in their transcript. So really it's your call if you want to use it, I personally wouldn't. Sanders11 (talk) 13:30, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Just found a link with lots of stuff on the reception of Rousseau and Alex's reunion (here) even though it's clearly not gonna be needed for the GA pass! Sanders11 (talk) 12:08, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
Well done :). I was starting to do Locke's article but then I got fed up with it; the longer character articles get annoying after a while. But good luck with it. Sanders11 (talk) 11:03, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Dexter
Hi... I was planning on writing up an article for the Dexter episode "The Dark Defender" (season 2, ep 5) but I can't find any ratings for the week ending Sunday October 28, 2007. Since you wrote "Born Free", I was wondering whether you had any idea where to look? Thanks! —97198 (talk)01:56, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Thanks anyway :) I have the first and second season DVDs - I'm only up to ep 5 of the second, but it is really good... definitely worth watching (so far!). —97198 (talk)03:15, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
I actually read the book(s) first, which is very different. The whole season, I assumed they were setting up Rudy to look like the ITK as a red herring because I assumed it was going to end more or less in the same way as the book. I love the way the books are written, but the storylines in the show are a lot better. I assume you've read the first from what you've written in Born Free - have you read either of the others? —97198 (talk)03:41, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Firstly, this seems to be a monumental task you're taking on, and I applaud you for it. Secondly, User:CloudNine had a go at a rewrite of this article last year so he might still have some sources you can use. Bradley0110 (talk) 12:59, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
The various companion books also have a hefty amount of production information, if you have access to them. You might also want to look through old revisions of the article for any useful info--about a year ago I literally halved thec size of the article by getting rid of repetition and cruft! Bradley0110 (talk) 13:38, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, there's always the option of having it permanently semi-protected from being edited by IP's, like The Simpsons article is. Bradley0110 (talk) 13:50, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't want to belittle your (amazing) efforts, but the "Writing" section has a lot of overlap with the pilot article and probably lends undue weight to the main article. It might be better to recast this section to talk more about the writing process. This[3] behind the scenes thing talks a little bit about the writers' room. I'll dig out one of the companion books at the weekend and expand the filming section with some info about set design, etc. Bradley0110 (talk) 19:35, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
No, no, Pat the cop is good (for the article!). It's better to have things like that in the main article as they were more about the series as a whole rather than just the pilot. I think the behind-the-scenes doc was originally made for a Discovery Channel series, but it was on the (US) Season 6 DVD too. Bradley0110 (talk) 12:43, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
That's fantastic work! Now you'll have to prepare yourself for the inevitable "z0mg! Why isn't there 10,000 words to describe each season????" on the talk page. I'm so impressed I think I'll paste in this barnstar:
I've completed a live and active task force page. You can find it here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Television/Veronica Mars task force. Please add your name to the membership ABOVE mine (I shouldn't be first, I just wanted to put a name in there to show where it goes proper like). The right hand side has room to grow, obviously, which will allow for membership growth and any additional sections you might want to add. If you guys need further help with design stuff, let me know. hornoir(talk)01:24, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Glad you are enjoying the task force page. I altered the text style. At the bottom of each side panel (right and left) there is an edit link for the entire panel, so that you might make adjustments as you see fit with such things. Happy Holidays. hornoir(talk)12:20, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Seasons Greetings
Wherever you are, and whether you're celebrating something or not, there is always a reason to spread the holiday spirit! So, may you have a great day, and may all your wishes be fulfilled in 2009! Padillah (talk) 15:38, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
I will celebrated Christmas. (bad use of tense intended) :) It is not really here yet (1:59 A.M. December 25), though. I will thank you for saving the article for BuddyTV. I was dreading sweeping through articles to make appropriate changes, when, suddenly, it was back and well-cited. It was a Christmas miracle! …on December 2—what are the chances? –thedemonhogtalk • edits10:07, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Wow...you think you were late? My apologies. Thank you very much for the holiday wishes. I truly hope that you had a beautiful holiday and that your New Years goes just as well! – Ms. SaritaConfer17:43, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
The companion books list them all by individual episode chapters. They don't have a single page that just lists all of the guest stars. Plus, I've exhausted those books so much I'd rather get some other sources in there to back up some of the info. Also, I'm sure that I'm not going to be able to find a separate source for every actor who has appeared on the show (there were some no-names who had guest spots), so I'll probably be forced to cite specific pages from the companion books that identify said actor as appearing in the episode. BIGNOLE (Contact me)04:37, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Always appreciate the help. I'm calling it for the night, and I'll be at work from 8 to 5 tomorrow...so I won't be working on it till at least tomorrow evening. I totally forgot about it, as it was one of the final things asked about in the GAC. BIGNOLE (Contact me)05:06, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I did it at work...as the NY Times website wasn't blocked by the computer firewall. I only used the filmography for the multi-episode people, as it would have been too much list every single episode. On the other side, the filmography only lists the years they appeared and not the number of episodes...so anyone who appeared in multi-episodes in one year looks like they only appeared in one episode. But, at 320+ refs...I'm not adding every episode ref. LOL. BIGNOLE (Contact me)02:22, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
New Year
All the best for 2009! Yes, I did go to the fireworks - I live really close to the bridge so usually I walk up with my family and stand in the crowds of drunken people ;) but this year I went to some friends' apartment which is directly opposite the Opera House overlooking the harbour so we had a great view. The fireworks were better than ever... so much for the recession! How'd the celebrations go in Melbourne? —97198 (talk)02:05, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about the wait (off having lunch). That does sound scary for a ten year old - I've never been attacked but was very young when I saw my first Pavement Pizza! I'll check out Friends in a little while, I promise. :) —97198 (talk)03:06, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Very well done on both Mahone and Friends... had a very good read of the latter! BTW, when are you coming to Sydney? —97198 (talk)11:31, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Definitely appreciated. :) I'm not really sure which matches I'm going to... I think there's one day session and one night session on centre court in the second week, so hopefully there'll be some good matches on! —97198 (talk)12:11, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Of course Federer will be there! ;) And good luck with spotting me... perhaps I'll wear a hazard yellow vest? :P —97198 (talk)12:24, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Other stuff
Sorry, I don't really know of any end-of-year ratings goldmines, but I did have a bit of dig around... I found this which has every season's average viewers and rank, though they all differ from the article and the site itself doesn't seem to have any claim to reliability. I did find this from the LA Times, though, which (at the bottom) claims that the 99/00 season was ranked #3 with an average viewership of 21 million (I think both of those figures contradict whatever's currently in the article). Ah well... use what you want to. :)
Re: my sandbox, I'm not really sure I'm doing in there considering I didn't actually like the film (it was slightly more tolerable a second time - it's beatifully-made, just extremely uninteresting). I guess there's a reason it only lasted three days in cinemas! —97198 (talk)15:41, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Glad I could be of at least some help! :) No, I didn't catch Double Jeopardy - I've never heard of it! I stayed up late though last night watching Into the Wild (for the second time this week) - have you ever seen it? —97198 (talk)23:53, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Haha, it was pretty bad. The whole film was just twist on top of twist on top of another (I'd just be figuring out what was going on with the last one when they'd suddenly go "That didn't really happen - this is what happened!"), and then it turned out that the whole mystery actually had nothing to do with the number 23! —97198 (talk)06:05, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
I just looked up the video on YouTube... oh dear. I'm not a big fan of game shows - I used to watch Who Wants to Be a Millionaire when it was on, and I was a big Big Brother fan a few years ago (slightly embarrassed!) but I guess that's more of a reality show. (Sorry about the delay - I went for a swim, had dinner, watched ANTM and Gossip Girl back-to-back (guilty pleasure!) and didn't make it back to the computer!) —97198 (talk)11:07, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
The movie was meh, but better than I was expecting... mostly because I'd read some seriously bad reviews! I saw it with my friend the day it came out here - the cinema was packed with (squealing) teenage girls... the experience as a whole was a lot better than the movie. :) (BTW, you may or may not have email.) —97198 (talk)13:39, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
