GA reviewThank you for your review of John Deere House and Shop. It is very much appreciated. IvoShandor 14:48, 10 July 2007 (UTC) July 2007 GAC backlog elimination driveA new elimination drive of the backlog at Wikipedia:Good article candidates will take place from the month of July through August 12, 2007. There are currently about 130 articles that need to be reviewed right now. If you are interested in helping with the drive, then please visit Wikipedia:Good article candidates backlog elimination drive and record the articles that you have reviewed. Awards will be given based on the number of reviews completed. Since the potential amount of reviewers may significantly increase, please make sure to add :{{GAReview}} underneath the article you are reviewing to ensure that only one person is reviewing each article. Additionally, the GA criteria may have been modified since your last review, so look over the criteria again to help you to determine if a candidate is GA-worthy. If you have any questions about this drive or the review process, leave a message on the drive's talk page. Please help to eradicate the backlog to cut down on the waiting time for articles to be reviewed. You have received this message either due to your membership with WikiProject: Good Articles and/or your inclusion on the Wikipedia:Good article candidates/List of reviewers. --Nehrams2020 23:28, 10 July 2007 (UTC) Paul CornellThanks for the pass. It always looks better if the reviewer updates the templates ({{ChicagoWikiProject}} and {{ArticleHistory}}. Would you mind updating these.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 01:53, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Mario AndrettiHi LordHarris. Thanks for reviewing Mario Andretti for GA. A couple of questions, if you don't mind.
Thanks for passing it through the GA barrier! :) Davnel03 14:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC) "Illustrious" imagesThe images Image:HMS Illustrious 2.jpg, HMS Illustrious 3.jpg, Image:HMS Illustrious 4.jpg and Image:HMS Illustrious 5.jpg are of HMS Ark Royal (R07). Note that the weapons system on the front is Phalanx CIWS and on the funnel the pennant R07 can clearly be seen. I am making you aware so that you could possibly change the description page or move the page names. I have moved them from Illustrious to Ark Royal for you. I am telling you rather than doing it myself so as to avoid stepping on anyones toes. Thankyou Woodym555 17:35, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Good JobI've been following your discussions on several pages and I just wanted to acknowlage you for doing a good job. 72.189.79.72 09:08, 13 July 2007 (UTC) I've done some of the changes you suggested at the peer review. Another change, which I'm surely going to do, might be on hold due to`eal-life constraints. If you can, can you outline some more suggestions for improving the article? Thanks!! --Клоун 12:46, 13 July 2007 (UTC) Night of the Long Knives Peer ReviewI've recently put a lot of work into improving the article Night of the Long Knives. I put it up for peer review, but haven't seen any comments yet. I see that you have have experience as a peer reviewer and I think that the article could gain from your insights. So, if you have some spare time, your comments would be appreciated. Thanks.--Mcattell 03:00, 15 July 2007 (UTC) CopyvioI just placed a copyvio tag on Royal Collection without noticing first that you had already mentioned the problem on the talk page. Did you just add an "unreferenced" tag? I came across this one when following up articles by Muj/ICGrad after finding Oxus Treasure by accident (copyvio from BM). I notice he has done a lot on the BM & Wallace Collection also. Do you think there may be a problem there? NotLKYour comments were helpful. I think this article should be ready for FA candidacy in a month or so, and your thoughts when it is nominated would be helpful, too. Thanks, and congrats on your barnstar. --Mcattell 23:36, 16 July 2007 (UTC) Ray EmeryI've completed all the changes you suggested. Would you have any more in mind? --Evilclown93 13:56, 18 July 2007 (UTC) ArticleHistoryFYI, [1]. AticleHistory only records community-wide processes, like GA and FA. Adding assessments to {{ArticleHistory}} causes the article to show in the error category. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I have made a few last notes on what I see left as far as work and hoped you might be able to undertake a copy edit and/or brief look at the article one final time. Thanks. Roger Clinton, Sr.Roger Clinton, Sr. was Bill's stepfather, not biological father. You're thinking of William Jefferson Blythe, Jr.. I'm not sure whether Roger, Sr. should go in the 'family' portion of the Clinton template, seeing as he isn't a blood relative. I suppose Blythe should.--Father Goose 20:54, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
The Image Improvement you requested...Hello. I have retouched the Poole Charter image on the Graphic Lab as you requested. Please come to the Graphic Lab and see if it is satisfactory. Thank you. -- VegitaU 02:11, 23 July 2007 (UTC) Award CenterJust so you know, I'll be trying to get a Reviewer's Award via your post on the Award Center. I'm not exactly sure if the four or five posts I made are very helpful, but I hope they are, and I hope the article makes it to FA status. I'm still working on reviewing, but there isn't much left for me to review or reply to. --Qmwne235 23:38, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Why thank you :)That was a very nice thing to do - I just felt rather sorry for your lonely request for peer review. I'm a little snowed under with family, wikproject work and an insane watchlist right now - but I'd like to get back to Bill and help you get him through FAR. I'll see what I can do - thank you again. Thank you for reviewing Richard Hawes for GA status last month. Because I was in the midst of another FA nomination at the time, I chose to put this article up for peer review instead of FA. The peer review garnered few comments, but the other FA nom is (hopefully) winding down, so I have now taken your advice and nominated the article for FA. If you still feel that this is an FA quality article, I would appreciate your support at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Richard Hawes. Thanks!
