Hello, Clementina, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
Hello Clementina, Thesevenseas has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling at someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Go on, smile! Cheers, and happy editing! Smile at others by adding {{subst:Smile}} to their talk page with a friendly message.
There is inconsistency in Kŭmgangsan in using "Kŭmgangsan" and "Geumgangsan". What do you advise? And for good measure:
I present to you a kitten! Kittens promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Kittens must be fed three times a day and will be your faithful companion forever! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a kitten, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Spread the goodness of kittens by adding {{subst:Kitten}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message!
I appreciate your advice. Have you ever considered becoming a mod here, since you are one at Simple? Anyhow, thanks for the work you do here. May Jesus be with you! Protector of Wiki (talk) 08:32, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
<-An admin here? Oh, no, I don't know anything about being a sysop here, and I wouldn't dream of becoming one anytime soon. It's very different from Simple, and I only just started becoming active here a few days ago. Thanks for suggesting it, though. Kindly, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 10:37, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Heh. Less than a hundred edits in and you've already been asked about adminship- shows how excellent you are. But you are correct, this is a rather different environment to simple, and I suspect your thoughtful, unassuming temperament would be less appreciated here simply because it disagrees somewhat with what adminship involves here. Watching this page now, you know where to find me should you need a second pair of eyes for anything. Cheers. sonia♫11:17, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, dear Sonia, I really appreciate your kind words, and still more, the manner in which they were offered. :) I don't know if I'll ever get as attached to en as I am to Simple's quiet charm, but I'd still like to help out where I can. Love, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 12:04, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You can find me just as easily if you need a third pair as well. Never underestimate how attached you can get to enwiki, you never know, you might find yourself more attached to this wiki than simplewiki! It is definitely tougher to get adminship here than it is to on simplewiki, but it is definitely possible. In fact, I believe Sonia maybe running foradminship soon, just need to keep watching! Also, I believe you forgot to substitute the template here, that's why the signature didn't come out properly! Set Sail For The Seven Seas270° 17' 15" NET18:01, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, thanks, Thesevenseas. :) Enwiki does look quite overwhelming and fast-paced at first, but with such dedicated and friendly users like you and Sonia, I can see why it's so popular. And Sonia, if you ever do make this a blue link, do tell me so I can support! ;) Cheerfully, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 00:35, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please, by all the good there is in this world, don't watchlist my (nonexistent) RfA. I managed to get myself grouped as a "rouge admin" here without even being an administrator; I really don't want the drama that goes along with being one. Perfectly happy to potter around wherever I wish making little changes without having to block/delete/protect. sonia♫03:23, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not all admins have this drama, only the lucky/unlucky ones. Naturally, those who get the drama will be the ones you've heard about. However, there are even more "quiet" admins, which no-one's heard of, especially as there are 847 admins here. They just get on with their duties and avoid the wikidrama. You can find them here. Most of them you won't have heard of. Set Sail For The Seven Seas327° 33' 45" NET21:50, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Aye, and I respect both. Anyway, sorry Clem for clogging up your talk page with my insecurities. (Here's a "policy" simplewiki doesn't have that you might find interesting...:P) sonia♫00:35, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
<- That's too bad: your eloquence, great intelligence, compassion, and sense of humor would make you a great admin, Sonia. And what's a wiki without some drama to spice things up? :P You two show me such different sides of en - the amazingly bold and amusing side, and the dangerous and scary side. ;) As of now, I'm so bewildered by the enormity of this project that I can scarcely see either, just a trembling wilderness, but I must admit that I'm having fun here already, thanks to both of you. :) Love, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 08:26, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That'll be the best way to go about it. Entering the wilderness not knowing what's out there, where you are or what to expect, in the true spirit of adventure. After all, it is only when you're truly lost can you find what cannot be found! It does also mean there's a lot of treasures hidden deep in the archives or revision histories. One of these is funny vandalism, which tend to be hidden around the place. There's also the lolcats, some of which are quite entertaining! Set Sail For The Seven Seas336° 34' 45" NET22:26, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Much better, thanks. :) It's my first time reviewing an article here, so I hope I didn't mess up anything. I've also responded on the talk page. Warmly, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 00:41, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Another update - all of the article's subsections have been expanded upon further with additional sourced info from cited sources. Hopefully this is sufficient. However, still in the process of doing some additional research. -- Cirt (talk) 18:43, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
<- Hi Cirt. To be honest, this is my first GA review, so I'm not really sure what to do. I was the initial reviewer, so if I'm satisfied (because I am :)), does that mean I can simply pass it as a GA? → Clementina [ Scribble ] 05:09, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, Alfie! :) This makes cleaning up much easier—I've been wondering in vain how to disable that for ages, not only here but on the Simple English Wikipedia as well. It works perfectly, thanks once more! Sincerely, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 02:08, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Clementia :) This thanks comes ridiculously late :) but it comes with much sincerity. This is a note to communicate my thanks for your voting in my RfA. Astoundingly, and to the shock of everybody, the RfA passed :):) See you around. Sincerely. Wifione ....... Leave a message15:35, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You could spam my page while you're at it. :P Might be a tad more informative for the active editors here. (That said, I really don't like seeing the orange bar misappropriated since it already freaks me out when it's legit, although I have to admit it works.) sonia♫05:52, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea, and Done. You're right, I always jump when I see orange bars, and it makes me get quite annoyed when I click on it and it goes to articles like practical joke or "got you"! And in this case, it makes my talk page look oh so ugly. :P But this is all for a good cause.. ;) → Clementina [ Scribble ] 06:00, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, dear Sonia! :) This project, though it's a little frightening in its complexity, certainly looks both interesting and worthwhile, so I'll try to help where I can. → Clementina [ Scribble ] 13:40, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, thank you for cleaning up the vandalism on my talk page. :) I know how annoying it is to manually remove nonsense, and I feel very grateful for it. Thanks once again, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 03:03, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the helpful link, 220.101.28.25 (wow, that's a long, um, username)! ;) I never met an IP with a userpage before. :) I was actually supposed to help Sonia with it, but I couldn't keep my promise because I had to go unexpectedly to church (sorry, Sonia). However, I'll see if I can help with anything in the article today and just hope I don't mess it up. Love, → Clementina [ Scribble ] 01:48, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You've done fine, Clem. I assume you're using Cite4wiki or something for your references? When citing news articles I tend to use RefToolbar, it is slower but fills out more information. (You need to help me convince 220.101 to get an account!) By the way: are you free to talk for a few minutes? sonia♫01:55, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know how I can convince 220.101 to get an account if your eloquence fails. :) Yeah, I usually use Cite4wiki for websites, because computers confuse me. As for talking...I'd love to, but I think it'll have to be after one hour. It's actually my study time right now. Caught red-handed! :o /me scurries back to work → Clementina [ Scribble ] 02:02, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
My sincere apologies for any inconvenience - I see you did specify a reason in the talk page, and it seems to have been made in good faith. Next time, though, please include your reason in the edit summary (for example, you could have written "per reason on talk page"). This helps people who are checking on the recent changes for vandalism know the reason for your removal. Best, Clementinatalk01:48, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
DYK for Maria Brontë
On 5 October 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Maria Brontë, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
Sorry for the late reply and thanks a lot for the warm welcome. I won't be much of assistance to this site for a while since I'm occupied with other wikis on the web but it is really nice you left me a message. Also, thanks a lot for the tip as well as the links. --Montechristo95talk • contribs20:14, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your thanks. ;) It's not often one gets a reply for a welcome. I certainly hope you'll find editing Wikipedia enjoyable and have fun here. Very sincerely, Clementinatalk00:41, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah you can bet I hope that too. Well what I will be doing here mostly is patrolling the recent changes page until I find a project to work on. And btw I really like your habbit of replying to messages on the same page they have been posted. It greately helps keeping conversations together. Unfortunately, I carry the awful habbit of replying to messages with the "RE:" style from other wikis around the web. --Montechristo95talk • contribs09:15, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's great, I'm sure you'll do excellently here, as you seem to already have some experience with other wikis. :) Yes, I do like to try to keep conversations in the same place, but I'm afraid that's more selfish than yours, as it denies others the pleasure of seeing a cheery orange bar pop up. ;) Users use both methods on Wikipedia, though replying on the same page is (I think) more common. Best wishes, Clementinatalk10:22, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Porchcrop, thanks for the note! :) I do generally use that template, but for edits such as this, I wasn't quite sure if it was a test or a good faith mistake in thinking that the Dursleys took care of Harry from when he was one year old, so instead of welcome-anon (which would say "thank you for your contributions"), I decided to use {{welcome0}} instead. :) Love, Clementinatalk01:03, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ooh, how lovely - thank you! :) I'll continue hunting around to see if there's anything I can do to help in it. Thank you again, Extra! Love, Clementinatalk05:53, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're more than welcome, dear David, and I'm sorry for my mistaken reading of your comment at first. :) My talk page is always open for questions, and if I can't answer it, one of my few, but very clever talk page stalkers may be able to help. ;) Warmly, Clementinatalk12:54, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The project's most popular page in September was Harry Potter which received 481902 views throughout the month. That means that it received on average 16063 views each day. It's a GA which is Top importance within the project's scope. To see more popular pages head over to the list now.
There are lots of articles within this project's scope without infoboxes. They can help to improve the quality of an article by adding a brief overview. It's a task that won't take very long so why not head over now and help out?
From the Editor
Hello and welcome to this, the third edition of our WikiProject's newsletter. In this month's newsletter, I encountered a problem, well, two problems actually. I needed some help with the production: suggestions and other writers. As with last month, if you have any suggestions for the newsletter, please add them at the Tips Desk. If you would like to write some of the next issue, that's even better! Just come go over to the main Newsletter page to see where you can help out, and of course, as always, please give us your feedback on this edition, on the talk page. Until next time, happy editing!

Yes, I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. :( I'm afraid I won't be able to finish the review anytime soon, so it'll probably be best to find a reviewer to finish the job. Once again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience this must have caused. Sincerely, Clementinatalk04:30, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Ambassador Program is looking for new Online Ambassadors
Hi! I noticed your activity as a Good Article reviewer, and wanted to let you know about the Wikipedia Ambassador Program, and specifically the role of Online Ambassador. We're looking for friendly Wikipedians who are good at reviewing articles and giving feedback to serve as mentors for students who are assigned to write for Wikipedia in their classes.
If you're interested, I encourage you to take a look at the Online Ambassador guidelines; the "mentorship process" describes roughly what will be expected of mentors in the coming term. If that's something you want to do, please apply!
You can find instructions for applying at WP:ONLINE. The main things we're looking for in Online Ambassadors are friendliness, regular activity (since mentorship is a commitment that spans several months), and the ability to give detailed, substantive feedback on articles (both short new articles, and longer, more mature ones).
Hi, Sage Ross! :) Thanks a lot for the kind message, but though I think I'm friendly most of the time (on the Internet, at least ), I have neither the ability nor the regular activity needed to be an ambassador. I'm most likely going to be especially busy in the following few months and my activity on the English Wikipedia will be little or nothing, so I'm afraid I'll have to decline. Thanks once again, though, and hopefully one day I'll be worthy to help out in that area! :) Clementinatalk12:21, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
