Cielomobile, the score you are using can't be any good. At least the spellings "Ballade von der Sexuellen Hörigkeit", "Ballade vom Angenehmen Leben" and "Lied von der Unzulänglichkeit Menschlichen Strebens" are completely wrong, as adjectives are never capitalized in German. And—other than in English—there is no general capitalization of words in headlines in German. Look at Die Dreigroschenoper in German wikipedia for a complete and correct list of the German song titles according to Brecht's piece. — I know there are some variants between the piece (or the libretto) and the score (it's "Die Moritat von Mackie Messer" in the libretto but "Die Moritat vom Mackie Messer" in the score), but I don't have a score at hand to check them all out. --FordPrefect42 22:37, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Esperanza!Welcome, Cielomobile, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association. Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow. In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals. If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work! But wouldn't the fact that the title of the article is Jewel, Texas make it unecessary to include the fact that it is in texas in the first sentence?A mcmurray 07:28, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Thank youI thank you for your kind words. I just want to spread a little light of sunshine around. Regards. --Bhadani 06:28, 5 October 2006 (UTC) Thanksfor the kind birthday wishes - how thoughtful :) I have severely limited my wiki participation of late, but it was heartwarming to see how wonderful Esperanzians can be! Hopefully, we'll cross paths again when I finish my wikibreak. Best wishes, Brisvegas 08:19, 5 October 2006 (UTC) Well, thanks, but...I didn't ever leave Esperanza! Someone just deleted my name from the roster. I'll keep an eye on the page to make sure it doesn't happen to other users. -- Merope Talk 03:05, 6 October 2006 (UTC) HomophoneIt is listed back to the original nomination place. My apologies. BTW, it's just a coincident that you just passed Derek and the Dominos. I see that all images there are copyrighted without fair use rationale (criterion 6.a). Just to let you know, perhaps you might reconsider GA status for the article. Cheers. — Indon (reply) — 07:47, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

At least, as someone who has defended sufficient alleged Bloods, I've never heard of them referred to as "sects." --Nlu (talk) 05:08, 8 October 2006 (UTC) Copyright on imagesHi Cielomobile. First of all, thank you for your contributions to the homophony article. I have to point out that the images you took from Grove (Tallis, Chopin) are copyright violations; it appears you copied and pasted them from the homophony article there. Even though the source is out of copyright, the versions they made are covered by copyright. Please do not take images from Grove, as it exposes us to completely unacceptable risk. You also did not give the source for where you got them. I would suggest notating the examples, or others like them, in either Sibelius or Finale, saving them as PNG files, and posting those (that's how I handle this issue). Thanks, Antandrus (talk) 18:06, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
I need something from youHello, Your Wp signature looks pretty. I was thinking of creating one myself similar, but I'm somewhat busy right now, so I decided to ask quickly if you could be kind enough to provide me with the code you used to create it.--Saoshyant 14:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC) WikiProject Guitarists Newsletter - Issue II - October 2006The October 2006 issue of the WikiProject Guitarists newsletter has been published. I just needed the code, since I know my way around HTML, was just too lazy to code it myself. So much for being lazy, I decided to reformulate most of it, but really, thanks a lot and cheers for the detailed explanation you provided. There's something I'd like to mention, though. I believe you should avoid the use of the <font> tag, as it invalidates the XHTML of Wikipedia. My suggestion is to use <span style="color:#000000;">, where all those zeroes are for the black color. Oh, and I'm part of Esperanza too. Keep up the good work. --Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves/Saoshyant talk / contribs 10:11, 10 October 2006 (UTC) Signpost updated for October 9th.

it's clearly an asian elephant or someone has mutilated that poor loxodonta's ears. note the smoother texture of the skin as well. It is a young Asian bull. The gallery from which it was taken has a tiger as the next shot--more evidence perhaps that it was an Asian elephant photographed in India. The location given for the photo, Karnataka, should be proof enough. Perhaps he is just a very lost little guy: http://kalyanvarma.net/photography/photo.php?id=425&tag=Mammals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karnataka

TangoTango has kindly written up a script that once a week lists all of the new members to Esperanza. The list can be found at User:Tangotango/New members of Esperanza; it is updated once a week, and will show all of the new members since the last update. If you're not sure if everyone who joined the past week has been welcomed, that is a great place to check! I hope that helps you in your welcome, and thank you for making a point to greet new Esperanzians! -- Natalya 18:41, 26 October 2006 (UTC) EsperanzaThank you for the welcome! Stormy MondayWhat parts do I need to cite? I'm not sure how I would do that but the shifting of the feel to a waltz-time is seen in the Vol. 1 of the ABB guitar tab book where it says jazz-waltz feel for the guitar chords that are comped during the organ solo, and the edited harmonica solo I've heard on the soundboard live tape from the 3/13/71 Fillmore East show, and I also believe it is heard on the "Fillmore Concerts" version of the Fillmore East album. With that in mind, and hopefully not being rude about it, I was wondering if I could fast-track you to Isis (band)'s GA nom. Even if you don't have the time to go it over with a fine-tooth comb, a little feedback would be gratefully received. Thanks for your time - oh, and if you have any tips on how I might become involved with the GA review process, I'd be interested to hear them. Seegoon 16:43, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
