Sweet Jesus

Good work on the Sweet Jesus logo my friend. Hopefully we'll get it back under a fair-use policy somehow – I'm not too sure what constitutes a fair rationale though. Apologies for my "far-worse version" (as you put it!) – I've not got a scanner, and the photo I took of it was, well, mobile phone quality. Logos are not permitted in band infoboxes - only free images of the band, unless they have formally broken up, in which case a fair use image is also permitted, but discouraged. Just because something has been wrong for a long time, it doesn't mean it should stay that way when somebody fixes (or in this case removes) what is wrong. — neuro(talk) 02:58, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's not really what I meant. The quality of the image is irrelevant – what I meant was that the use of a logo would undoubtedly improve the article – if it was allowed to be used somewhere. If you can ask them for an image to use, please do so, and forward proof of permission to OTRS. That would be the best way to proceed. I believed that the guideline was at WP:IBT, but it appears to be located elsewhere. I have located an image that can be used under fair use, and will add it to the article shortly. Hand-coding

Hey all :).

I'm dropping you a note because you've been involved in dealing with feedback from the Article Feedback Tool. To get a better handle on the overall quality of comments now that the tool has become a more established part of the reader experience, we're undertaking a round of hand coding - basically, taking a sample of feedback and marking each piece as inappropriate, helpful, so on - and would like anyone interested in improving the tool to participate :).

You can code as many or as few pieces of feedback as you want: this page should explain how to use the system, and there is a demo here. Once you're comfortable with the task, just drop me an email at okeyes@wikimedia.org and I'll set you up with an account :).

Well, I think contributions would have to be obviously NPOV and well backed with refs. I think there's certainly grounds for the article's inclusion given the company's increasing presence in broadcast sector and how many stations already use the software. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!
