I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Durova386 16:41, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Peer review for Pope John Paul IIHi Peter, I was wondering whether you'd be interested in this[1]? Disambiguation link notificationHi. When you recently edited Deichkind, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Portemanteau (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. Hi Peter, I have added the Geonotice for most of Scotland. Let me know if you can see it on your watchlist and if there are any problems with the formatting, linking etc. Thanks, Lynch7 13:21, 12 July 2012 (UTC) Bill SlimI have responded to your request here[2] to ensure others see the response - avoids duplication. Translation of the two imagesHello Peter, the caption in the first image is: "This is the only war, where ever England is fighting, the goal of the British war is to destroy the aggressive Japan" (translated more word by word, it says "Japan, who is abusing its military"). On the second line, in a smaller fond, it says "October 1943, Announcement by the British minister of inner affairs". Maybe one can find the original text of the announcement made by the then British minister. The translation into Chinese itself is not a good one. The text is written from left to right. The caption in the Second image is captured in the description of the image (titel): One for all, All for one. The text is written from right to left. So the first line is One for All and the second is All for One. The third character 為 means "for", 個 (the first in the first line, counted from left, and the last in the second one) means single, 全 (the last in the first line and the first in the second line) means total. --Wing (talk) 21:07, 12 July 2012 (UTC) POTD notificationHi Peter, Just to let you know that the Featured Picture File:Batak Warriors 60011135 edit.jpg is due to make an appearance as Picture of the Day on September 22, 2012.
