This source is estimating March purely on the basis of past releases. This is unreliable because it is not based on any facts and due to problems with production the game could easily (as has in the past) be pushed back or even pushed forward into feb. During my own lockout, I've thinking of a way we could settle this once and for all. As you know, Pats1 is the exclusive editor of the New England Patriots articles, while Doctorindy is pretty much the head captain of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers articles. How about you become the exclusive person who types the game summaries for your Miami Dolphins. I'll just stay away from those articles.

Well, I guess it depends on the case. If a player is injured and a team releases him, then they are prone to a grievance filing by the NFLPA. Therefore teams will put players on IR when they really would like to just release him (Jason Webster is a good example). At some point, the team and the player will reach an injury settlement, which in some cases will pay the player what he would have made if he had stayed on IR until his injury was healed, or other times, they will set the player free once he is healthy; whether the latter is technically considered an injury settlement, I am not sure. Sorry I didn't know the usage of III with him was widespread in Canada. In the NFL, as far as I can tell, it was just Albert Johnson. Playoff Finish and seeding, 2008 Dolphins Season
The "Playoff Finish" heading in the infobox indicates how far the team finished in the playoffs. Playoff Seeding is NOT an indicator of a team's Playoff Finish. Looks solid. My comments:
I tend to avoid using specifics when it comes to Safety or Linebacker. I prefer to do just Safety or Linebacker rather than go into the whole free/strong or inside/outside thing. Same goes for intro paragraphs.
Take out the world currently (I only used it when a guy is a free agent, though I think I'm gonna ditch it completely)
I also try to keep recent events out of intros (the sentence about being re-signed on Dec. 24 and stuff). If you want to add stuff like that, you should just create a Professional career section and Arizona Cardinals subsection.
Add "Arizona" to link name
Per the style of Wiki, Only the first word in a section title is capitalized (External links, not External Links)
I don't know if there is a standard on this, but I keep stub templates at the very bottom to keep them out of the way of the article.

Yep, that's pretty much it. I compare NFLPA.org's Active Player search for 2009 with the roster, and pick out the discrepancies. Then I sort them by how many accrued seasons (6 games on a 53-man roster, IR, PUP, etc. but not NFI, Susp., DNR, etc. = 1 accrued season) they have - UFAs are 4+, RFAs are 3, and ERFAs are 0-2 - but I won't go into the details of each right now. I determine how many accrued seasons they have by checking their NFL.com profiles (the experience number they have there is usually, but not always accurate), specifically their "G" column, which is games on the active roster. Then I check their game logs to verify any cases where it's not immediately apparent. Then I might check a website bio or KFFL to make sure I'm right with the accrued seasons number. But I can tell you that my free agents lists won't be 100% accurate (they are more accurate than last year because I'm not relying on NFL.com experience numbers anymore) because players will have voidable years that won't show up in NFLPA's database. Once those players (i.e. Dallas Clark last year) void their contracts - which could happen sometime in February - they become free agents. Pats1T/C03:37, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
G isn't games on the active roster, it's games in which they appeared. Any player that was on an active roster will have a team/year row on their NFL.com profile. Any player that does not was not on an active roster. For example, Brian De La Puente had an active roster stint with KC this year, hence the 2008 Kansas City Chiefs row, but did not appear in a game, hence the 0 for G. Meanwhile, Edwin Harrison had no active roster stint this year and thus has no 2008 Kansas City Chiefs row in his profile.►Chris NelsonHolla!03:52, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Right, I know that. I don't know why I said that, and I don't use it that way. The only way to determine games on active roster is by looking at the game log; if there is a 1 for the G column, that means the player was active, if there was a 0, that means he was inactive.
