Orphaned non-free image File:DreamWorks Animation SKG logo.svgThanks for uploading File:DreamWorks Animation SKG logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). PLEASE NOTE:
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Aardman logo.svgThank you for uploading File:Aardman logo.svg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale. If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 08:54, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

The "Day & Night" picture. It was brought to my attention that you uploaded File:Day & Night poster.jpg, a picture for use on the article Day & Night (2010 film). I already had a picture for that article: File:Day & Night title card.jpg Why did you upload a completely different file instead of uploading a new version of File:Day & Night title card.jpg? Did you do it because you wanted the filename to read "poster" and not "title card"? I bring this up because it sort of bothers me whenever a picture I've uploaded is slated for deletion, even if it is for a good reason. Please respond. -dogman15 (talk) 06:03, 27 July 2011 (UTC)

Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:28, 23 June 2012 (UTC) Your recent editing history at List of Pixar films shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. The rumor said "Disney's Tarzan is coming back to theaters in 2014 in 3D!" Take a look at the rumor!!!Stephen Parry in disneyvault.net said "I stumbled across this poster while browsing the net, which to me seems like a very legit Disney poster for a possible re-release of the 1999 Walt Disney Feature Animation Tarzan. It follows along a very similar style and design for Pixar’s Finding Nemo 3D and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast 3D. With no official confirmation from Walt Disney Pictures or any details anywhere! I can only say that don’t get your hopes up too high until we hear from Disney. So far Disney have announced their 3D re-release schedule for 2012/2013, so the earliest that we could see Tarzan 3D would be 2nd or 3rd week of January 2014." Your contributed article, Dragons: Riders of Berk (season 1)Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Dragons: Riders of Berk (season 1). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of Dragons: Riders of Berk episodes. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Dragons: Riders of Berk episodes - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page. If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Stefan2 (talk) 16:26, 20 August 2012 (UTC) I finally had a chance to look up the reason for the orphaned image alerts, and have noticed that you originally relocated the information on the above page to the movie article. The reason you gave was that it wasn't extensive enough for its own article. Articles are not kept or moved based on extensiveness. They are based on notability. Additional information exists at the movie article that makes the album in itself notable (after all, how many soundtracks get pulled from the market for four years over legal issues?), and thus, the album is notable enough to have its own article. It's actually rather sad that some of this information never existed in the main article, and I am thinking the ONLY reason it got merged in the first place was because Hoodwinked! became a Featured Article Candidate. So I am challenging your merge as there was no discussion on it at all. The information that is at Hoodwinked! could easily be moved to the soundtrack article. Of note, the only reason I'm reacting to this now is because I got orphaned image alerts for an image I uploaded and added to the article back in 2009. CycloneGU (talk) 17:47, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 21Hi. When you recently edited Jeffrey Katzenberg, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Walt Disney Studios (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. I'm here to applaud your work on uploading vector images for recent Disney logos including Disneynature, DisneyToon Studios, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, Walt Disney Records, Hollywood Records, Walt Disney Pictures and Touchstone Pictures. Therefore, I'm here to ask you if you can upload a vector image of the Disney Music Group logo from the source you provided [1]. I would do it myself, but I'm not very technologically savvy when it comes to attaining images from PDF files, so I'm hoping you can do it just as you've done for some of the other logos. The Muppets logoHi, Carniolus. I've come to your talk page with a request. Since you've done such a terrific job at locating PDFs and uploading SVGs of countless Disney logos, I thought you could upload an SVG logo for The Muppets. I'm not technically orientated, so I don't know what's necessary to extract such image. I have already found a PDF here that has the current logo. For reference, I recently uploaded the same logo (as a JPEG), but ever since I found the logo on the PDF version, I'd thought that it should be uploaded as a more appropriate SVG instead. If you can do me this favor, I'd be much obliged! Thank you, ~ Jedi94 (talk) 03:11, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

Unfortunately, instead of moving the page to that correct name, you redirected it to a new one. I've addressed the issue here, and hopefully it'll be resolved soon. Until then, we'll have to leave the original page that was created as Big Hero 6 (film adaptation) and then rename it to Big Hero 6 (film) when all said is done. Rest assured, your important contribution will not go unnoticed. Thank you, ~ Jedi94 (talk) 20:05, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for June 27Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Despicable Me 2, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chris Renaud (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :). So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere. What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default. The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page. Here's the link for more info about the movie: http://fantendo.wikia.com/wiki/The_Legend_of_Zelda:_The_Wind_Waker_(film) GeoGuyFan2000 (talk) 16:07, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

VandalismHey, I've noticed that you seem like a credible editor on animation articles such as Dreamworks Animation and Blue Sky Studios. Is there anything we can do about an IP user, 68.4.42.174, who has made vandalism edits and has been threatening to get editors blocked using caps. Is there anything we can do abut this - I'm not that experienced in dealing with editors like this. Frogkermit (talk) 23:22, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 6Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Super 8 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. Fine work extracting that SVG for the New Zealand Rugby League article! I'm here to ask you a small favour. The logo you extracted is the right article for that article, but the crest used by the New Zealand national rugby league team is subtly different. It uses the legend "New Zealand Kiwis" and can be found on page 15 of this media guide. I tried to put this in the "Should be SVG" template but it was clearly too small to be noticed. Thank you :) Malpass93! (what I've been up to/drop me a ___) 23:53, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on File:New Zealand national rugby league team logo.svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I think Wikipedia should have franchise articles for its films. Lord knows pretty much every film has spawned sequels, video games, musicals, theme park rides, TV shows, and more. It should be fairly easy to collect the info and create the articles. You appear to be much more experienced that me, so I wanted to get your opinion on this. We already have The Lion King (franchise) and The Little Mermaid (franchise), so I would suggest starting off with Aladdin (franchise) and Beauty and the Beast (franchise) - those being 4 of Disney most popular/most successful films. The aforementioned 2 articles could also use a lot of work. Thoughts?--Coin945 (talk) 20:55, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

Also, I have just started to clean up ODW, so yes their is duplicate but some is source via DWA PR/IR and other by news sources. Spshu (talk) 19:25, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
←I think we are looking at different levels of the ODW group of companies with you looking at one of the subsidiaries, the "Production WFOE", while I am looking at Oriental DreamWorks Holdings, the "Company" of the agreement. The Production WFOE subsidary isn't involved in distribution of movies according to the ODW Shareholders Agreement you cite above, but is included in the article. Other ODW companies were set up for distribution:
The whole agreement includes references to Animation Parks, Theme Parks, Animation Park Subsidiary, Theme Park Subidiary and the management of theme parks and animation parks. “Theme Park JV” is to be formed per section 2.06(c) between the ODW's Theme Park Subidiary and a CPE (the Chinese partners) selected joint venture partner with the requirement that the "Ancillary WFOE" manage and operate the park. Now to "The Standard" article, it doesn't say what kind of funding (loans, investment, indirect investment, mixed, etc.) that China Development Bank will be providing to the Dream Center. The article also indicates that it is a major shareholder of China Media Capital (CMC). Thus, it might hand CMC an investment to funnel through the upper level ODW or for some combination of CMC and Bank as JV partners, or other combinations. "Any Chinese involvement in DC via ODW would significantly reduce DWA's share in ODW." Not really, as it will be operated & managed by a subsidiary (Ancillary WFOE) and partly owned by another subsidiary (Theme Park Subsidiary) in a Chinese-foreign joint venture company (Theme Park JV). This similar to Disney Euro/Paris. Shareholders Agreement Section 2.06(e) requires that all ODWH subsidiary except the park joint ventures to remain whole owned by ODWH. It is probably best to write the article from the highest level in the ODW hierarchy of companies, Oriental DreamWorks Holdings, Ltd. If that is the source we're using, shouldn't we use the original airdate? 2) Where did the episode summaries come from? Zap2It reference does not contain loglines. How to Train Your Dragon 2 spoilerPlease do not delete or flag potential "spoilers" in Wikipedia articles, as you did in the article How to Train Your Dragon 2. It is generally expected that the subjects of Wikipedia articles will be covered in detail, and giving a section a title such as "Plot" or "Ending" is considered sufficient warning to the reader that the text will contain revelations about the narrative. Deleting such information makes the article less useful for a reader who is specifically trying to find out more about the subject. For more information, see Wikipedia's guidelines on spoilers.
