DYK for Papal conclave, 2013
Governors pagesHi, I inadvertently noticed that you have some United States governors by age pages in your sandbox. Any chance of making these into articles? A very similar article already exists with List of Governors of California by age. I'm guessing you might have previously run into sourcing challenges or something. In any case, it looks like good work and hope it can be added in some form. RoadView (talk) 03:17, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
Ack many apologiesHello C. All I can say is Facepalm over this edit [1]. I look at your edit and thought that it had been made in the infobox. My mistake and many apologies. BTW every visit that i have made to your province has been wonderful. You are lucky to get to live there. Cheers. MarnetteD | Talk 23:53, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks... for also helping move the date formats at the bombing article to mdy ... never-ending ... --Epeefleche (talk) 07:22, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
Errant BLP prodI meant that for a purported suspect, and was frantically trying to see that page nuked when I accidentally tagged the bombing one. Whoops! Just would like some clarification because the source I used to determine it is here. If I'm wrong I'd like to be able to fix it. Thanks -B2Project(Talk) 01:21, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
So, when they have the Penguins picking 29th, they seem to have based that on the league's overall regular season standings. However, the 29th pick actually goes to the Stanley Cup runner up (which will be Boston or Chicago), which leaves Pittsburgh picking at 28, since they had a better regular season record than the West Conference Final loser Los Angeles (who will pick 27th). User:Deadman137 has been working through all the draft picks at 2013 NHL Entry Draft if you want to take a look. Canuck89 (converse with me) 01:35, June 16, 2013 (UTC) I noticed a note was added due to the possibility of the Blackhawks petitioning to have the names of Jamal Mayers and Daniel Carcillo on the Stanley Cup. Should Ryan Stanton and Henrik Karlsson be added to this list in case the team may also petition to have their names engraved? 108.0.244.168 (talk) 08:10, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
Reasons for engraving a non-qualifying player's nameI am trying to understand the reasons a team would petition to have names of non-qualifying players engraved and their decisions. I noticed some puzzling decisions teams have made. I noticed the Lightning submitted Darren Rumble's name but did not with Shane Willis. Rumble played in 5 games and Willis played in 12. I noticed George Parros had his name engraved because the Ducks successfully petitioned. The Ducks also unsuccessfully petitioned for Mark Hartigan and Aaron Rome, but didn't even submit Tim Brent's name. Brent played in 15 games, but Hartigan played in only 7, and Rome played in only 2. What are the teams' reasons for this? 108.0.244.168 (talk) 18:27, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
Tammy Duckworth's date of birth on articleSince you commented on the matter in January, just letting you know that I initiated an RfC regarding Tammy Duckworth's DOB: Talk:Tammy_Duckworth#RfC_on_providing_full_date_of_birth. The dates were listed that way when I used the Provelt device to insert references. Maybe you should point this out to the powers that be so it can be addressed. I have been using the Provelt to list references ever since it came out a couple months ago. The date has always been dd/mm/yyyy since Provelt became available. If you haven't tried it, give Proveldt a shot. You will notice the date accessed comes up automatically. I simply used the same format if I added a publication date.
