I received a message from you regarding editing the Devizes page, where I added a sentence about the Devizes Budo Club. This was not a test and was intended to stay on that page. This was, however, my first ever edit on Wiki. I also intend to create a new Wiki page for Devizes Budo Club in the fullness of time and write about the Club's long history and it's connections with Devizes, etc. Because I'm obviously very new at this I will endeavour to read up on the creation of a new page before any attempt is made. The article refers to Kiernan's post-Mad Men acting - I repeat, acting - as post-production. Post-production refers to editing, sound editing, color correction, distribution, and so forth, and not acting, which is purely a production activity. Further, any reference to post-production experience in regards to Shipka is highly inaccurate - she has only acted and performed music. My edit, as originally made, is correct, and the former version, as well as the subsequent reversion, is both incorrect and confusing. The sooner it can be corrected again, the sooner the issue can be settled. --140.192.108.187 (talk) 21:14, 2 December 2015 (UTC) Thanks for the explanation. I explained myself in your Talk page. I re-watched the episode today that the article concerns and I noticed on the synopsis a segment is written in the wrong point in the article. It mentions that the Doctor realised the castle and the Veil are made to scare him, which is correct, but it is written in the article at the point when he first sees them. However his realisation doesn't occur until he jumps out of a window, dries off and has time alone to collect his thoughts. Providing a reliable sourceEffecting the least fix to Wikipedia is a fool's errand. What need is there for a reliable source? How about the common sense of an Icelandic dictionary? It's interesting that, if I find "2 +2 = 5" in a Wikipedia article and fix it, some administrator complains. The enforcement is uneven and capricious. You can see that TUL has a subsidiary somewhere in California, the same as Diamond Multimedia (http://www.diamondmm.com/about-diamond-multimedia.html). Other companies also correspond with these blue dots: Club3D in the Netherlands, Powercolor in Taiwan and in China and VTX3D somewhere in Russia. (If you go to vtx3d.com, you have to choose a language: Global, Turkish, Polish or Russian. You can assume that it mostly serves these markets). Also this (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/65852-does-diamond-multimedia-make-good-gpus/). Here a user said: 'Diamond Multimedia, Powercolour, VTX3D & Club 3D are all subsidiaries of TUL Corporation.' I know it's a user and not a reliable source, but it's just someone sharing the same point of view. The problem is that the TUL Corporation has a complex brand system and is pretty unclear about which brands they currently own. Information about them is quite scarce, but from these findings I would conclude that Diamond Multimedia, Powercolour, VTX3D and Club3D are all subsidiaries of the TUL Corporation. Done Historiador (talk) 16:35, 7 December 2015 (UTC) with the exception of one thing I did not remove any information. Not one thing i removed was sourced. if you take the time to examine my edits, i simply removed information that was repetitious. If you look, for example, at the Completely Unsourced paragraph about the alleged xiongnu origins of the Kim family--which i am a believer of--they are simply the same statements repeated again and again. the section following immediately thereafter states that jin midi or kim il ji was of xiongnu origin. while jin midi might have been an ancestor to the silla royal house, jin himself was not a member of the uiseong clan, but probably an ancestor of most of the other clans already mentioned. the aforementioned reference to xiongnu origins were quite adequate. The other bit of information i removed was in the first introductory paragraph where it states that kim means 'dried seaweed' in korean, while in chinese it means 'gold'. This is flatly false. Kim in fact means gold in both languages chinese or korean - it is simply pronounced differently depending on the context of its usage. If you feel that the content that i dropped merits retention, feel free to bring it back. Please do not, however, revert the entire article to the poorly written state it was in. 2602:306:CDF4:62E0:214:51FF:FEE8:1435 (talk) 16:48, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Went to nursery school at Mrs Hamilton's and then St Imelda's. I lived in 13th Ave opposite the Soccer Fields, before the new school was built. and knew female Navy personnel who lived in the Homestead. During the 1970's, it was common knowledge that all the sports clubs in Fish Hoek sold alcohol as did some of the restaurants. The Homestead was slightly different as the bar was available to the Swans and their guests. The general consensus at the time was that it was probable that more alcohol was being consumed in Fish Hoek, than the surrounding towns, despite the prohibition. Anybody growing up in Fish Hoek a the time would agree. I for one enjoyed many an evening drinking in the sports clubs, the Homestead and some of the restaurants. Therein lay the irony of the situation, something that deserves a mention. In terms of a citation, I am the source. These are my memories. There is nothing else I can refer to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalkhoek (talk • contribs) 18:20, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
To whom it may concern, I am writing in response to you reverting my decision to edit the Captain of England to 'Vacant' from Chris Robshaw. If you were a true Rugby fan, and in this case, a credible editor, you would have stood by my recent edit. I find it incredibly dissapointing and it is most frustrasting that you chose to revert my edit back to the former England captain Chris Robshaw. You will be in no doubt aware that the Incumbant Coach Eddie Jones has dropped him as Captain and his successor has yet to be announced. I therefore find it very hard to understand why you would disregard my edit and refert it back to how it was, as my edit was in the Interest of Rugby fans as well as everyone who has the right to read the page. I would therefore invite you to offer clarification on the issue, and how it wasn't "constructive" enough. Edit to History of the Jews in Bahrain article.Hello, I was wondering why you removed a recent addition I made (I was not logged in as I was using my work computer) to the article History of the Jews in Bahrain. in your message you said you felt the addition was not constructive. I (Selwyn Fernandes) happened to captain the side and we were the forerunners of the rugby teams as it was previously a football school. We played under Pete Coyne and Tom Hartigan Vice Head later). We played St Joe's Academy and a Regional Munster side, winning both games. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Selferns (talk • contribs) 16:04, 23 December 2015 (UTC)

Caballero, I updated the GDP wiki pages some time ago to replace a wrong definition of GDP by the OECD / World Bank definition. I wonder why you think your new definition is superior to OECD. Is there a citation for your new definition? Is it identical to the OECD definition? Why does it not specify 'resident production units (the main meaning of the GDP in GDP which distinguishes it from GNP) I also think the opening paragraphs should be for non-economists and should clearly and quickly address the principal misconception about GDP which is that it is a 'top-line revenue' total (as you say GO is, a useful addition to the article). With an example. Regards, Hugh Small Hugh Small 14:32, 26 December 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hugh Small (talk • contribs)

The spelling in Devanagari script vi-bhaa-ga. you can go to google translate and type in ग to get a transliteration, it will be -ga. Now granted the Hindi/other Indo-Aryan language pronunciation of the word is '-g' but it is not a Hindi word. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.184.112.29 (talk) 16:41, 27 December 2015 (UTC) KolomoyskiCrime lord Lets go: http://gordonua.com/news/politics/Zahvat-zdaniya-Ukrtansnafty-Video--72033.html http://rian.com.ua/video/20150320/365048473.html 42700 video results http://finance.bigmir.net/news/companies/51922-Vtorjenie-na-Odesskii-NPZ-opyblikovano-video-zahvata https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O29eJ9c0GN4 2670 video results http://www.businessinsider.com/r-special-report-ukraine-struggles-to-control-maverick-battalions-2015-7?IR=T https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U483vkT5tJA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DnQsyMBe4o And so on. Your edit to The Son of NeptuneHi, Caballero1967. Just wanted to let you know that I reverted your recent edit to The Son of Neptune. Yours undid an edit by an IP that corrected a character name (name was first Luna --> Lupa --> back to Luna). The character in question is actually named Lupa, and that is now the name listed in the article. Thanks for your edit, in any case; there is a lot of vandalism on that page, and this was the first case I've ever seen of a mixup like this. Happy editing, -- 2ReinreB2 (talk) 21:24, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

Reverting editsI'm not an expert on Wikipedia rules, but it looks to me like you've reverted the same good-faith edit four times in a short period. Your revert on my edit suggested that I take the debate to the associated talk page, but you have failed to make any effort to support your edit on that talk page. I think the burden is now on you to to leave the page as it was, without the phrase in question, until you make some case that the edit you propose has merit. Rks13 (talk) 21:31, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
Hi, Caballero1967 - I got your message re: my recent edit to "Domestic terrorism." I have to plead not guilty here - I did NOT remove any content that was already there. What I did do was to ADD several examples to the U.S. domestic terrorism section (i.e., 2002 Los Angeles International Airport shooting, Beltway sniper shootings, 2007 Fort Dix plot, 2010 Times Square car bomb attempt, 2020 Portland car bomb attempt and 2015 Chattanooga shootings). When I looked up the article this morning in order to respond to your message, I was surprised to find that ALL of those entries had been removed for some reason, which puzzles me - if you look at each of the underlying articles which I linked to, it is clear that each one was a valid example of domestic terrorism (i.e., each one happened in the United States and each one was clearly politically motivated). Would it be possible to please put those additions back? One other thing which I did do was I reversed the order of two existing items on that list in order to put them into a more proper chronological order - I put the D.C. Five, which took place in December of 2009, ahead of Farooque Ahmed, whose incident did not take place till October 2010 (the latter was originally placed above the former, which is out of sequence since everything else is in correct chronological order). Those are the only changes which I made to the article, and I stand by them as being valid and correct; as I said before, I removed NO existing material. List of Missiles by CountryOn June 6th I edited a misformatted table on the page List of Missiles by Country. You reverted the edit stating that I had not cited any reliable sources. However (1) the source for the misformatted table was already cited in the line directly above it prior to my edit, (2) I did not remove that citation, and (3) I used that same source for the corrected table. This was my first Wikipedia edit, so if I did something wrong please let me know. 71.170.247.36 (talk) 17:26, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Reverted recent edits to "Name days in Greece"Hello, You recently reverted my changes to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_days_in_Greece and I would like to propose that they are valid and should be restored. The References section of the page includes a single link, to "Greek Name Days for the Year 2015" (http://www.namedays.gr/index_uk.php). That webpage mentions both of the additions I made. So since that was already an existing reference, I didn't repeat it in my addition. That was probably a mistake on my part, I understand it would have made your job easier and perhaps would have avoided this exchange! :-) Do you agree that my modification can be restored? Thank you, Yannis

Codex VaticanusIf you do not know Latin nor know anything about palaeography nor medieval manuscripts - and from your reverts I can see you do not - nor you can use Google to verify the misspelled quotation, then I wonder, how can you feel authorised to do the reverts? I do not expect an answer, I only expect that you now go to a mirror sometime, look yourself in the eyes, ask youself this question, and contemplate the (obvious) answer. 84.40.214.223 (talk) 01:06, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Edits on SRAHello You have advised me that you have reverted an edit on the Solicitors Regulatory Authority. Please note that this was nothing to do with me. I have no interest in the SRA, nor have I had any dealings with the firm in Reading (150+ miles from where I live) which was the subject of the edit. I'm not sure how you identified this edit as mine, but it isn't, and your reversion needs to be advised to the correct individual. Terry White

Chiwetel Ejiofor EditHi there, In reference to your recent message about my edit to Chiwetel Ejiofor's page not being constructive, I'm sure I don't have to advise you that it was a factual edit. He was previously an OBE, but since he was subsequently elevated to a CBE, this 'title' takes precedence over the former OBE and therefore the initials 'CBE' should correctly be suffixed to his name, instead of 'OBE' which it was previously. This is certainly correct and indeed every other British individual that I have looked at who shares such an honours history has been granted this update. I must say that I do object to my small but correct change being dismissed due apparently to not being "constructive" and subsequently being told that if I want to "experiment" I should use the Sandbox. Thank you for your patronizing words... Steve
Feluda editThank you so much for your response. I was not aware of the edit summary thing. But none of the Feluda story mentions as to what school he studied. I am not sure what made you think his alma mater was Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. I would be pleased if could provide with a reference or in absence of such evidences, remove the details of his alma mater.
