HelloI'm glad you appreciated my expansion of Doctor Zhivago. Thanks for taking the time to write! LiteraryMaven (talk • contrib) 14:46, 17 July 2009 (UTC) Friends"WHE wants all your money", lol that's exactly what I was thinking. Also, thanks for fixing my mistake. I just assumed it was another anon. trying to mess up the synopsis. Corn.u.co.pia • Disc.us.sion 11:33, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
The DealYes the main cast is spoke of but there are several important historical characters not listed so it is good to show the cast and leave the casting as well to tell how they came to be cast. If you actually read the casting section you will see that they only mention 3 actors who are in the movie. I happen to own this film on DVD and it says on the case runtime of 84 minutes.
Thanks for fixing my refs.Just a note in saying thanks for fixing my refs. miranda 21:59, 2 August 2009 (UTC) Wallander: Series 2Thanks for letting me know about the third director. As you say, he Andy Wilson seems to play in a different division when compared to the other directors. I saw Marple: They Do It with Mirrors on TV here in the US, barely 10 days ago. Not bad for being Ms. Marple. Have you heard anything about any actors for the new series? I read that US actor Danny Glover was filming in nearby Malmö during June, and this (together with the Swedish Wallander films) resulted in a shortage in film and production crew for the BBC series. Swedish director Tomas Alfredson, who has had an international success with his "Let The Right one in" will make another adoption of John Le Carre’s cold war novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, based on a scrip by Peter Morgan. If you hear stumble upon any news about this film, can send me a link as I am thinking about starting a Wikepedia page for this film. —Preceding unsigned comment added by VsanoJ (talk • contribs) 13:43, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
I just wanted to let you know that Yello Bird and BBC will host a Q & A session for selected journalists at the end of next month. So there should be plenty of new info then.VsanoJ (talk) 18:09, 11 August 2009 (UTC) I look forward reading your article about the books.VsanoJ (talk) 19:16, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
One interesting thing about the SVT Wallander films. Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård who is becomming quite poppular here in the US thanks to cult HBO show True Blood portrays the young Kurt Wallander in the Pyramid. VsanoJ (talk) 17:38, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
VsanoJ (talk) 18:57, 15 September 2009 (UTC) I wonder if he would be a replacement for Blomman (or Blomanski, I think his real name was, the policeman of Polish decent). The way I saw it was that Mankell icluded "Blomman" to have an officer who had a different background then the other officers. Maybe they changed to an officer of south-asian origin to make this more obvious? It is an interestig choice, as south-asians isn't a typical immigration group in Sweden. I am geeting VERY curious now!! VsanoJ (talk) 21:06, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Google Translate works VERY well over all, I have to say. However, and I say this while being a bit reluctant, I think there is an improvement that can be made in regars to Daniel Ahlqvist comments. I really do not want to step on your toes. I read it as he is saying that future Wallaner films from BBC can be based on new story synopses in the same manner as the Swedish Yellow Bird films. (I also think he is being vauge on purpose though.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by VsanoJ (talk • contribs) 23:28, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the radio link. Very, very interesting. If you come across other stuff like that, please pass them on to me. A lot of interesting stuff. Glad to hear that a third series is a posibility. Since Mankell seems to be very interested in TV right now, I do not doubt that he would be more then willing to write a new story synopsis or maybe even a brand new screen play. (But that is just me guessing)Being Swedish and living abroad, it is quite interesting to hear non-Swedes take on the people in our country. VsanoJ (talk) 15:58, 29 December 2009 (UTC) As you probably have seen, I added some stuff today and last week about some Swedish actors who has featured in both BBC's Wallander and the two different Swedish langiage series. I personally think this is quite neat/interesting/funny, but how interesting is this to the rest of the world? I have not seen the Wallander series 2 so I do not know how big roles they have, I am assuming rather small ones though. Fredrik Gunnarsson has an important role in the Mankell's Wallander series of films so that he is featured in Sweies 2 is very interesting. Well known Swedish actor and former theatre director Roland Hedlund stared as Gustaf Torstensson in Yhe Man Who Similed that was broadcast in the UK yesterday. He lives in northern Sweden so I am really qurious to see how much he was featured. Most Swedish actors used in the BBC films has been unknown local Skane actors. This is what Hedlund looks like: http://norran.se/noje/article96245.ece How much was he and Fredrik Gunnarson on screen? VsanoJ (talk) 15:33, 11 January 2010 (UTC) That does not sound good. How are the ratings? I wonder if the short pre-production stage affected the quality? I know Yellow Bird were set on ONLY focusing on the Swedish language films this summer. Richard Cottan must have written the scripts a whole lot faster this time around. I wonder if he was still writing The Fifth Woman while they were filming The Faceless Killers? VsanoJ (talk) 16:09, 11 January 2010 (UTC) I e-mailed Daniel Ahlqvist with Yellow Bird about the Guardian claim of a series three, and as you said, no recomission...but he hopes there will be a third series. VsanoJ (talk) 20:34, 14 January 2010 (UTC) One of the main guys at Yellow Bird did a quick interview on lokal radio about future series (he corrected himself and used the plural form of the word). Did I source it OK? The web page has a small text and a link to the interview, and this sound link has much better info. How did you know I was working on it? :P Anyway, User:ThinkBlue and I decided not to include the Diet Coke information because it isn't really related to this particular episode. I think it would fit better in the article for season two (if that ever gets created). Theleftorium 16:31, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

FlickrAre you looking for a particular person/image? I send out multiple requests a week and have a pretty good success rate, so if you would like an image, let me know and I can try and get one for you. --Happy editing! Nehrams2020 (talk • contrib) 23:08, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks......for that. Theleftorium 15:55, 25 August 2009 (UTC) Re: Aussie questionOoh, that's going to be a tough one, but it really depends on which show you are trying to find ratings for. To find some of the latest ratings, this year and last, you could use [1]. It's a blog, but it's still reliable for ratings. If you didn't already know, Australia uses the [2] OzTAM ratings system, but really I don't know how to access archives from the site. Sorry I couldn't be much more help. DYK for Going to Australia≈ Chamal talk ¤ 09:29, 15 October 2009 (UTC) Awards box discussionHi. There is currently a discussion here regarding the use of navbox awards templates for Razzie Awards that partly includes the "Worst Picture" template related to WP:FILM. Your comments are very welcome. (P.S. Please note I am not canvassing. There seems to be a lot of regular contributors currently absent from Wikipedia and all comments are needed.) Thanks. I was told the colors look find, as long as it's not too dark and hard to read. Would you like to suggest some more colors? Thanks --Mike Allen talk · contribs 18:12, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Liberals and Liberal DemocratsRe this edit, the book is about history and so it contains the histories of both the Liberal Party (from 1688) and the Liberal Democrats. Because the Liberal Party existed for longer and had a more prominent position, its entry is considerably longer than that of the Liberal Democrats. DavidBoothroyd (talk) 11:42, 21 November 2009 (UTC) Thank youThank you for your help at The History of British Political Parties. ;) Cirt (talk) 20:25, 21 November 2009 (UTC) Youtube linksThanks for rewording that external link to the Doctor Who Youtube videos (on the Krotons page). I really hate adding those, you wouldn't beleive how many times I write out those lines then delete them. Why they're so awkward for me to word is beyond me. Alastairward (talk) 00:07, 24 November 2009 (UTC) Re: John BarrowmanHi. I noticed you removed a link to British American in the lead section of John Barrowman. The problem is, somebody will add the link again, so this isn't a solution. If the term isn't appropriate here, could you think of another one? Thanks. Viriditas (talk) 05:14, 28 November 2009 (UTC) Re: Paul MertonSeriously? Wow. To be honest it's an awful image, I'm sure they could do better! Am I credited, and is the book on Amazon? Gran2 19:03, 7 January 2010 (UTC) I still want to read our article on computer-generated cartoon elephants...I think you were quite unlucky in the Silliwilis – I thought you were a shoe-in for December and would be vying with Tony for the year's prize. At least you got an honourable mention in the write-up. Maybe next year. Adrian J. Hunter(talk•contribs) 09:52, 11 January 2010 (UTC) WallanderHello, Bradley0110. Pilot (Cold Feet)I don't think it's me that's confused, Bradley0110. I'm not the only one who thinks that Pilot (Cold Feet) or Pilot (The Grimleys) makes about as much sense as Film (Starsky & Hutch). To my way of thinking the type should be reserved for the disambiguation of articles that a reasonable person might genuinely expect to find if they were to look up Pilot. Pilot (band), for instance. The fact that there's a list of television pilots named "Pilot" strongly suggests that not all televsion pilots are named "Pilot". You'll have to explain the snark reference.
