Speedy deletion nomination of Voices From the Past (Book)Hello Boolarong, I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Voices From the Past (Book) for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source. If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Jennie Matthews 97 (talk) 23:47, 5 January 2014 (UTC) The article Susanna de Vries has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Rosario Berganza 23:58, 5 January 2014 (UTC) Hello, Boolarong. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Graham Seal, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Graham Seal to be deleted, please add a reference to the article. If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page. Thanks, --MrScorch6200 (t c) 00:14, 6 January 2014 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Neil Raymond Bradford
A tag has been placed on Neil Raymond Bradford requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Historic Sydney requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.boolarongpress.com.au/content/bookstore/bookDetails.asp?bookid=779. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.
Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.
If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead. If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

Request reason: I'd like to unblock this account and regain editing privileges. I understand that I have been posting non-neutral articles without reliable sources and in the future will adhere to Wikipedia's policies of neutral point of view writing and verifiability if I am unblocked. The aim of the previous articles were to archive and present Australian literature which varies from children's novels to historical recounts of Australian servicemen and women. I'd like to contribute to the different wiki projects( WP:Australia, WP:Australian History, WP:Novels and WP: books) and will rewrite the articles following the proper manual of styles.09:28, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
Accept reason: Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Nyttend (talk) 06:10, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
Your proposed new username looks like a real name. Have you read WP:REALNAME? It's absolutely fine to use your real name, but before you start using this as your username, you ought to be aware of the possible results; I'm simply wanting to ensure that you don't do this ignorantly. If you've read the section in question and still want to use this username (or if it's not your name at all, but you don't have to say that it is or that it isn't), I can see myself unblocking you.
