Thanks for the TRAX article in particular; it was overdue. So...keep up the good work! Cool Hand Luke 23:23, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Hurricane articlesYo! Mr. Helpful. A little help with the articles would be nice. You said that was one of your projects. I've done the 1947, 1946, 1945, 1944, and the 1943 seasons already by myself and I've still managed to help Cyrius out with one of his rather involved projects. Let's get crackin'. (By the way, I'm not mad. It probably sounds that way but I'm not.) -E. Brown, Hurricane enthusiast Oh, I took a few weeks off. I thought you were going to think I abandoned the site or something, but yes, nearly a fourth of the articles are mine. I have no complaints, you are welcome to help though. -E. Brown, Hurricane enthusiast New WikiProject{{WikiProject Utah}} Thought you might be interested in joining in. Also, what do you think about any (or all) of the templates on Talk:Salt Lake City, Utah? StarCraft articles"Cutting down on the article just a little bit wouldn't make them "half-assed." You're overexaggerating. There's just some things here and there that you insert that are in the game that aren't really relevant to the overall storyline, that's all I'm saying." You never said "what wasn't relevant". Instead, it sounded like you were going to cut the articles down by a significant amount for no good reason. Fairpark in Template:Salt Lake CityWhy do you keep removing Fairpark from the template?? Both User:Cool Hand Luke and I agree it is a valid neighborhood. What did it ever do to you? ;-) Actually, I'm starting to think there are more neighborhoods than we originally thought. Ah well. Are you an admin here yet? You should be. --[[User:JonMoore|—JonMoore 20:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)]] 18:18, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

SLC PR submissionPlease note Wikipedia:Peer review/Salt Lake City, Utah/archive5. I really want to fix this article to get it to FA status. User:Cool Hand Luke has apparently left Wikipedia :( --[[User:JonMoore|—JonMoore 20:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)]] 23:14, 12 July 2005 (UTC) SeasonsIn the 2000 Pacific hurricane season, you say "The season lasted from May 22 to May 8." May 8? Also, can you please say "The first storm formed on X, and the last storm died out/dissipated/whatever on X" instead of giving two definitions for the season in one article? --Golbez 15:30, July 14, 2005 (UTC) EstimatesNo rough estimates! Rough estimates are bad, avoid them at all costs. The wind speeds in the hurricane articles: we are not trying to give readers only a rough idea of what the wind speed is. This is not the Weather Channel. Rounding 149.8 to 150 is okay, adjusting 143.7 to 145 is not. I know I sound bent out of shape; I'm not, but it is annoying to have to go back through the articles and change them. I'm okay with rounding 139 up to 140 and 141 down to 140, but I don't like it when people just search for the nearest multiple of five and stick that in. E. Brown, Hurricane enthusiast - Squawk Box 21:57, 17 August 2005 (UTC) How is giving exact (therefore more accurate) numbers misleading? That seems to be the exact opposite of misleading to me. Just because NHC rounds to the nearest five doesn't mean it's accurate. The NHC explicitly says that they are giving estimates. I got my numbers by using the standard knot-MPH conversion: knots times 1.15=mph. I don't see how that is misleading. E. Brown, Hurricane enthusiast - Squawk Box 21:45, 18 August 2005 (UTC) Navy PageHey, to get a link to an individual image, you have to right click on the image and select "properties"... from there, the URL of the image itself will appear, which you can copy and paste. For example, this: IMAGE LINK . That Navy site uses some weird coding that I'm not familiar with, and basically, each page load you do seems to be customized - and any links will be reverted back to the main page. Direct linking the images seems to be the only way. The Great Zo 17:59, 21 August 2005 (UTC) Pictures? Please see my reply on Talk:Hurricane_Katrina#More_pictures. Hopefully you will get the nomination. BTW, I see you noticed the Utah WikiPortal I created, and was wondering if you would consider helping me maintain it? The main complaint against you is that you "don't participate in the comunity" (hogwash), so maybe that would please the nay-sayers. Hurricane informal bet on strongest nameIt's official...Rita has passed Katrina (175 mph/897 mb vs 175 mph/902 mb as it is winds first, pressure as tiebreak). I wonder if Rita had consulted your prediction first, since it was right on the nose...it will be nearly impossible to beat that now (and no one stands below you)! Nothing!I am asking for is the NHC to be more funded and more personal so the NHC will not be burden. Well ofcourse the NHC has nothing to do with Katrina damage maybe if you get out of high school you will learn that but now I am saying because of the NHC thye saved lives but if we can someone make them a stronger and better organization maybe we can save more lives and learn how to build to with stand Mother Nature's furry. So young man I ask you to get your facts and read peoples edit more carefully next time.User:tdwuhs wiki birthday!

KTVXYou have received this message because you have edited a Salt Lake City media article in the past. We have recently had an edit war regarding the wording and inclusion of a paragraph on the KTVX article. In hopes of resolving this I have put together an informal survey. My reason for the change was because those places are listed under a column labeled "City", when they are not cities. I never wrote anything about having to change every place name, adding "city", "town" or "CDP" to each one - that would be idiotic. thanks for helping clean up the bugs section in the BF2 article. the huge popularity of the game means its a never ending struggle to keep the page from erupting with irrelevant and non-notable fluff.
