But not all of them. There were also some other templates that were reformed two, such as T:HoAfghanistan or T:HoRussia. You can see that if all templates are the same, it would be hard to distinguish. I think we should only reform the new templates that aren't yet create. Why should it be hard to distinguish? All of them, {{History of the Philippines}}, {{History of Russia}}, and {{History of Afghanistan}}, have a distinguishing image (coat of arms for Russia and Afghanistan). Since I saw you edit this article for the better, I am appealing that you help again in fixing the Eli Soriano article and the Members Church of God International be fixed somehow. Many user's keeps adding the so called "cult calling" to the beginning of the article although it is already placed in the section of critisims. Also, the references they are trying to show was already deemed unbiased (also violating WP:RS). Another user told me to remove all those references (see here), but after a few weeks, returned them and kept reverting most of my edits. Please help, there is obviously a COI there. It needs to be notable, as in known by the majority, before it can be included here. If it was involved in any major events, or if someone from your fraternity had earned a very significant and deserving reputation, or is a notable person (i.e. an actor or politician), then it deserves to stay. Barangay Hilabago

I think the Wikipedia should allow information (articles) on governmental units to enable researchers on political systems understood the concept of political subdivisions of countries. The Philippines being a unitary state, needs more information on the Wikipedia as much as possible and other Wikis because these informations are not available in published encyclopedias.

As Wikipedia contributor, I myself believe that info like this should be enriched rather than tagged for deletion. Who knows? There might be some people interested on particular local government units. Barangay is the basic unit of government in the Philippines. No cities and towns will exist without it - that is how important it is!

I think, there should no need for referencing about this Barangay because I was born and raised here, so i'm pretty familiar with it. I hope to see in print some article about this place in the future, especially its historical importance and role during the second World War when Japanese soldiers camped out here and as they were pursued by advancing American forces.

Actually, one of Wikipedia's core policies is verifiability, meaning the information must be and can be verified by others, so, referencing is required. The existence of the barangay is of course can be verified with DILG or at the statistics office but other information such as history must first be published by someone else so that others can verify the information. I suggest that you upload your photo with a different file name. Upload the unedited highest resolution so that the meta data (EXIF) will show up. Also state who the photographer is (which is you) and when you took it. Since the flickr page stated that it is under "all right reserved", we need to contact the original photographer if he (or she) would want to relicense the image under a free license. BLP PROD

For people who appear to be well known, such as Sunshine Cruz it is not really helpful to add a BLP prod tag unless you try and do not succeed in finding sources. The admins like me will try to check before deletion, and, as I did, add a few key refs to start out with, but is much more useful to add them yourself, at least if they can be found easily in G or G News -- and then explain to the ed. what he should have done. This is especially true in an area where you are likely to know about the subject--at least more likely than people like me, who know nothing about them except from the articles they work on in Wikipedia, DGG ( talk ) 20:22, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion, guidelines for use at WP:MINOR). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and all users will still be able to manually mark their edits as being minor in the usual way.

For well-established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

I had to decline the BLPPROD here. While there is an on-going RfC on this point, consensus is and appears to be that even a sources of dubious reliability such as IMDB are "enough" to prevent placing a BLPPROD tag, this is explained in more detail at WP:BLPPROD#Nominating. I've declined the BLP PROD; the IMDb link provides information on the film in which the subject appeared and clearly lists the subject among the cast members. See http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4201475/ for more information. The current deletion policy requires no sources, links, or references of any kind in order to place a BLP PROD.
