Just want to say thanks

I've been keeping off Wiki for awhile, and I probably will again for awhile, but I read the kind things you wrote at the RfA, and I just wanted to say, "Thanks, man." It means a lot, what you in particular, User:Phoenix741 and User:Doczilla posted. This was a surprisingly rough experience. Speak to you again down the road. And please accept a virtual handshake across the ether. Wishing you all good things, --Tenebrae 17:44, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Wilson Tortosa

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Wilson Tortosa, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Please see the discussion at Talk:Road to Perdition (film)#Move? in regard to a disagreement over the unnecessary move that you made without discussion. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 14:36, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Punisher picture

Its a way around the rules but wow, uh. I don't want to sound picky but thats pretty low quality. 16 color MS paint like. I hope its a work in progress. I am hesitant to write you've obviously helped the article greatly in the past. This, I just don't know. Better than nothing? meh? I suppose till wiki can actually have a usable image policy this is what things will have to come to. --Xiahou 23:45, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

I can tell that was your intention by the wording. I just hope a 'better quality' free image can be made/improved or found. Its a 'good enough for now' picture. Trying to say this without stepping on any toes here its hard in text form. --Xiahou 23:56, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
That works for me. In its own small way this image thing is hurting wiki to me. So many articles I just end up going somewhere else for the information so I can actually see what it is I am looking up. I see them pulling images from some articles I don't see why then others which even for me wanting to keep most seem an obvious violation stay and stay and stay. Ah well. Give it some time and the darn policy will change again. Which way though who knows. Anyway. Glad you understand I wasn't being critical in a mean way. Funny as much comic art as I used to do and as big a Punisher fan as I am I never did do a decent rendering of him. hmmm...--Xiahou 00:03, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Copy edits

Always good to hear from you, man! Sure, I'd be glad to, though maybe not for a couple days ... I was just getting ready to call it a night in a few minutes, and heaven knows that's one long article!

Be well, Bloody-buddy! --Tenebrae 23:45, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:376.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:376.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Phil Sandifer 04:23, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Punisher 2

Please do not move this page again. Punisher: War Zone is ONLY a working title, per citations. When an actual release title gets announced with citation, it will be used. Until then, the movie had had three titles, and constant movement is not worth it. ThuranX 22:20, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Hulk's Sword

I'm back with my question and I have to say that I know the Hulk doesn't need a sword because the Hulk is the strongest one there is but I would like to know what happened to it for example you see the sword in Iron Man #20 after he defeats Iron Man but not in WWH #2 which is also after he defeats Iron Man and I am sorry that I put my question on the talk page I just forgot it was for page discussion and you reminded me it was for things about the article I was like oh no so again I am sorry.--The K.O. King 17:16, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Good catch. I'm sorry for not catching that that one had already been PRODed and AFDed previously. - TexasAndroid 04:06, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Blood Pack (Blade II)

Honestly, it is a waste of time to try to keep the article. There is no possible way to keep it, so it would be best for you to drop it. By forcing a discussion, it'll only prolong the inevitable. If you want to write about the topic, you can use the film article or the comic article. TTN 22:08, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Hulk vs. Superman

I would just like to know who you think would win a battle between Hulk and Superman.--The K.O. King 01:25, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I Agree

I agree with you about the Hulk winning my reasons are of the following 1)The Hulk's strength increases with his anger what about Superman oh yeah his strength doesn't increase AT ALL 2)The Hulk has a healing factor you cut the Hulk he heals you give Superman a black eye it takes time to heal 3)would have to be what you said the Hulk has no known weaknesses at least that I know of Superman has Krptonyte. Thank you for sending your answer to my talk page.--The K.O. King 00:54, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Voting for the Tambayan Philippines Collaboration #1 is ongoing

Hi! The voting for the article to be the first target of Tambayan Philippines Collaboration Department is ongoing. Please vote even if it is abstain. Thanks! --seav 14:07, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi, we're thinking of closing the voting since no one has added any vote for one week. But there's a tie between 1986 EDSA Revolution and Pasig River. Maybe you'd like to change your vote to break the tie? :-) --seav 12:16, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! ...

...for help with the Daring Mystery Comics image. That was a good catch. Great to hear from you, as always! --Tenebrae 18:03, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Cw init.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Cw init.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:06, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Alex Nino

Hey, BP. Yeah, I'm starting to bio your neck of the woods! I'll see what I can dig up on Nino and Visionaries. Thanks for pointing me in that direction. BTW, at some point you may want to keep on eye on the proceedings at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Asgardian-Tenebrae. If nothing else, it should be interesting reading! --Tenebrae 16:19, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Actually, that itself would be primary source and so probably all that's needed to make the attribution. Why don't you upload and insert it, and write up a caption; if it needs any editing, I can tweak it. Cool, man! --Tenebrae 22:16, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

RFA

About the RFA you supported, I had to revert. The reason being, if you support, oppose, or neutral before it's transcluded in the original RFA list, they will get mad. Try reposting once we get it, We have the nomination ready, but we are awaiting another response from Emperor to get the go-ahead to transclude it. --businessman332211 03:17, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Admin and art

Cheers - I think the adminship is up and running (although it all got a bit confusing ;) ).

I had a look at your ComicSpace and DeviantArt pages - your figure proportions are all fine and the layout/composition works. The big problem was the competition was fierce. Keep practising and try and find somewhere you can get good solid, creative criticism and have another go next year. (Emperor 03:31, 9 November 2007 (UTC))

I am nominated and have accepted I believe the issue is transclusion. Can't go this far and let the "fans" down ;) Although technically it is Empaholics. :D
And your ComicSpace is linked from your homepage - my research skills are top notch but, to be honest, I just clicked on a few random links and saw the ComicSpace button ;) Artistic ability always impresses me as there are quite a few chimps who can draw better than I can. Not sure it is connected to my being tone deaf or just a cruel coincidence. (Emperor 03:45, 9 November 2007 (UTC))

Transcluded

We had the event earlier where you voted on an RFA for someone "early". I had reverted it and told you, to try and wait until it was transcluded. You told me you wanted me to tell you when it was transcluded. So I was letting you know, he just put it up not too long ago.. -- businessman332211 16:31, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Arbitration

Since the Arbitration now appears to be open to all the crazies with an axe to grind, I'm hoping you can weigh in with some reasoned and mature thoughts at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Asgardian-Tenebrae/Evidence. One obsessed fan-boy in particular just went ballistic there. Thanks for taking a look. --Tenebrae (talk) 03:57, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Neutrality issue with article

Hi! I got your name off the Editor assistance list so I hope you don't mind me hitting you up for some help. Over at the Dorothy Dandridge article, there seems to be a bit of a brouhaha over a paragraph which, in my opinion, should be completely removed. The paragraph is in the "Personal life" section and states:

Those who have endured similar ordeals point out that Dandridge's devastating experience with raising a mentally handicapped child was probably the straw that broke her back emotionally. It's interesting to note, however, that the actress openly discussed the issue on The Mike Douglas Show, videotaped in her hometown of Cleveland, in 1963. As is the case with nearly all TV talk shows from that era, the video and audio of Dandridge's remarks are gone; however, a newspaper wire service report summarizing what she said on the program survives. Despite the tragic loss of so many Mike Douglas episodes from 1961 - 1967, it is known that the candor of his guests, Dandridge included, kept the invasion of celebrities' privacy on the back burner until the late 1970s.

Would you mind weighing in on my talk page and letting me know what you think? If you agree, I'd like to remove the paragraph ASAP. Thanks! Pinkadelica (talk) 07:33, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
