We currently have 10 signups for free account access open and several more in the works... In order to help with those signups, distribute access codes, and manage accounts we'll need 2-3 more Account Coordinators. It takes about an hour to get up and running and then only takes a couple hours per week, flexible depending upon your schedule and routine. If you're interested in helping out, please drop a note in the next week at my talk page or shoot me an email at: jorlowitzgmail.com. Help requestHi Bezik, I apologize in advance if I am approaching you in the wrong place/format. I am editing https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hill_(букмекерская_контора) and it's talk page lists you as the focal point if I have questions, which I do... This page, https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hill_(букмекерская_контора), is a new & improved version of https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hill. I have added the (букмекерская_контора) in order to avoid disambiguation (in case anyone uploads a Russian value for William Hill the person), and I would like to know if it's possible for the new, better version can replace the old version in the "Languages" box of this value in other languages, for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hill_(bookmaker), https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hill_(Buchmacher), etc. Can you kindly advise? Thanks!!!Sebastiansta (talk) 15:25, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Hi Bezik, as per your suggestion I tried to paste the full version into the existing value William Hill but was quickly stopped by the system & was warned about improper deletion. If I was initially puzzled about the refusal to replace William Hill with William_Hill_(букмекерская_контора) (which might avoid future disambiguation), now I am totally surprised... Why does Wikipedia resent a clear and obvious improvement for the value?... Is it better off with the short, thin value that exists at the moment? Maybe I'm missing something here, can you kindly let me know why is this happening and what (if any) could be done to fix this issue? Thanks Sebastiansta (talk) 12:06, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
