Nomination of Celler Scene for deletion

Glacier Noir

Noticed on DYK, I have some concerns before reviewing. Different from the white one, the lead reads complicated and "German". As far as I know it is supposed to be just a summary of the article, therefore doesn't need refs, those go to the details in the article. I suggest you write the lead freely (not as a wörtliche Übersetzung), move the refs, and remove red links in pictures captions (one seems to be just spelling). Thank you for the Oisans! And for improving the lede. But do you think you can trim that extra complicated sentence in Geography starting "As a result" to two or three sentences? In the hook it should be "which" instead of "that", I think. - I got the granite to Portal:Germany, please do it yourself for the next, also add your articles to "New articles" there. Good question, but I'm not particularly familiar with Goethe's Faust translations. I bet that for such a well-known work there are translations available, unfortunately not in Wikisource (incomplete). - Different question: an "independent" reviewer is expected for my super-difficult nomination of BWV 132 on 10 December. One more idea: I would perhaps not translate Goethe (who of the readers interested in rocks would estimate the poetry?) but highlight the word Schnarcher in it, perhaps bold. Stopped snoring seeing this problem (someone writes it in Wikipedie de (unsourced, as so often), another copies it to information, Wiki en takes that information as a source). I guess you solved it by additional sources, I offered an ALT instead, - once I had thought about it, I wrote it. Mentioning of Walpurgis night would make it more interesting, but then that would need referencing. I dared to change the picture caption of the panorama which made no sense. Pretty pictures of the rocks in snow, attracting everybody, including me. - Did I ever thank you for the organ improvement? "Timbre of the romantic", quite a creation. I translated the article from German Wikipedia, not summitpost, but either way the link contains no substantive text and the site's search engine couldn't even find Höllentalferner! Seems to me that the template quote and the infobox don't go well together, the quote appears not where it belongs, but where the infobox ends, still confusing. Perhaps a simple <blockquote></blockquote> would be better in this case? Or have it later in the article? Thanks for asking, I put them here Portal:Germany, you have to scroll a bit or search for Harz granite, latest pic on top, then the latest DYK, and at the same time also in that (!) archive, new articles also there (!). I had no idea the other archive existed, and there may be another collection of new articles?
