Hiya - and thank you! In turn, I have long meant to tell you I admire the intelligence, research and diligence you put into AfD discussions and rescuing articles - often frustrating my own evil intent to delete, but appreciated nevertheless! Best Alexandermcnabb (talk) 05:24, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
Alexandermcnabb, such praise is much appreciated from a most worthy adversary! And I regret my capacity for typing is limited over the next few days while I recuperate from a tendon injury, because I otherwise have more to say about the letters and spirits of the lawencyclopedia :) Beccaynr (talk) 16:28, 2 September 2023 (UTC)

When creating an article, check to see if there is an entry in the sister project Wikidata. If your subject is listed, the Wikidata information can be useful
Fortunately the template is a generally helpful 'please mop here' type of request, and thank you for your mopping as well! Beccaynr (talk) 17:18, 14 October 2023 (UTC)

Which part of WP:DOB did the inclusion of Paula Richman's DOB run afoul of? Was it the lack of citation (which I can add from the source listed in wikidata) or concerns about privacy (in which case I'll leave it be)? Plandu (talk) 15:58, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
Hi Plandu, thank you for following up - yes, the lack of a citation was part of the reason - I also think for this subject, it would be better to only include the year of birth if we have a reliable source. I removed the date of birth quickly because of the lack of a source and the privacy concerns outlined in the policy. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns, and also thank you for adding the infobox. Beccaynr (talk) 16:34, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
Regarding this edit where is the WP:OR?
The source clearly says: "Divya Dwivedi says studies prove Mahatma Gandhi was one of the leaders who constructed the idea of ‘false Hindu majority’ in India." And also "she questioned the origins of Hinduism and stated that Mahatma Gandhi helped construct the idea".
Hi IP 2402, content issues would be best discussed on the talk page of the article, and I think the WP:SYNTH part of the WP:OR policy applies to your addition. Also, Divya Dwivedi is protected by WP:BLP policy. Thank you, Beccaynr (talk) 08:51, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
No its not WP:SYNTH when the content is supported by the source.
There have been ongoing issues with this article, and we can further discuss how your source does not appear to support the 'controversial' content you attempted to add to this biography of a living person, at the talk page of the article. Thank you, Beccaynr (talk) 09:06, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
There is nothing 'controversial' about this content.
Her own written article: "Gandhi had an important role in the invention of “Hindu” religion. He understood that if the majority of the population, the lower castes, were not let into the upper-caste temples, a common religion called Hindu would not be legally recognised."[1] Click here for full preview.
This is completely in line with the article I linked above.[2]
