You deserve it!
HELPI appreciate what you are doing on my fathers profile. However, you had no idea whom my father is in the first place as indicated by having read your talk history. Now you feel so championed to write about him based on miniscure info you found on webs online. I think you mean well, however, I can provide you with more info thats more relevant if I get you in touch with his secretary. Send me your email to my emil buy@divinerags.com. I will forward it to her and explain your work. Thanks.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.143.57.71 (talk) 16:52, 25 September 2008 (UTC) lobengulaHe was poisoned by Cecil John Rhodes. SocksHow many are there? So far I've found: (Which, after looking, I see you have already identified.) Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 11:22, 1 October 2008 (UTC) Thank youThank you for your support. It is appreciated - very much. Regards, Pdfpdf (talk) 11:22, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Interesting observation? For Your Entertainment: The plot thickens! "User:Rhodesscholar2", (who professes to be Mcmillan), has vandalised my user page referring to comments addressed to D. Mafa! As you have identified, something really strange is going on there, particularly as McMillan has claimed to be in DC, and D Mafa claims to be in Memphis ... I've decided that this is all an enormous waste of my time. (Clearly, this person not only doesn't appreciate the effort you and I are going to on their behalf, but doesn't realise that is what we are doing, and seems to resent it!) Hence, I will reduce my involvement in this matter to as close to zero as my personality will allow. However, should you want any help, please don't hesitate to ask - I am more than happy to assist you in any way you would like. Best Wishes, Pdfpdf (talk) 11:22, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Matobo National ParkThank you for your contributions to the Matobo National Park article. It is much improved. -- Ctatkinson (talk) 01:07, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Re: GeochronologyYeah - no problem - and thanks for your patience and hard work as well - you did more than me! As to occupation, you got it - I'm a process sedimentologist, and I worry about things like river channel change and its effect on land-use... I also think about deposition in deltas and stratigraphy, and more recently I've been working on glaciers, and on landscape response to climate change. And speaking of work - that's awesome that you're working on hydrology in Zimbabwe! That must be really easily applied. Awickert (talk) 04:50, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Another country outline draft has been moved to article space!I noticed you are a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Zimbabwe. Here is something that improves organization of and access to that subject on Wikipedia... Topic outline of Zimbabwe is completed enough that it is now in article space. It still needs images and some bluelinking, and is undoubtedly missing some relevant links. Please take a look at it. You will no doubt spot things you can easily fix that the rest of us overlooked or haven't gotten to yet. For the rest of the pages in the set, see User:The Transhumanist/Country list. The Transhumanist 20:09, 31 October 2008 (UTC) Topic outlinesIt may disperse the fog somewhat if you read what The Transhumanist has written to me on my talk page and in response to my various questions on his talk page since 17 November 2008. On my talk page the relevant materials starts at Standardizing country coverage (and the same on The Transhumanist's talk page). Hope this is helpful in the meanwhile. Have fun. --Zlerman (talk) 15:38, 19 November 2008 (UTC) Tourist boat on the LuangwaHi, I reverted your addition of the boat image on the Luangwa. This boat trip is most likely on the Zambesi (or possibly on the Kafue). The Luangwa does not AFAIK have the sufficient depth to host tourist boats. Regards. Your GA nomination of 2008 Zimbabwean cholera outbreakThe article 2008 Zimbabwean cholera outbreak you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:2008 Zimbabwean cholera outbreak for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a reassessment. Terrakyte (talk) 22:04, 11 December 2008 (UTC) Re Rhodesia Operational Areas mapThanks for catching the spelling error on the map. It's been corrected with the latest revision. The operational area boundaries sometimes but did not always correspond to provincial boundaries. For example, Matableleand North and Matabeleland South were mostly covered by Tangent, and Midlands contained portions of Grapple, Thrasher, Repulse and Tangent. If you'd like I can email you a scanned image of the source map from the book "Counter-Insurgency in Rhodesia" by J.K. Cilliers. Pjones (talk) 00:46, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
