User talk:Asterion/Archive 8As it's been a while since you signed up for admin coaching, I am just checking that you still wish to receive it. If so just add you name to the "Unassigned" section of the coaching box, and you'll be assigned a couple of coaches as soon as they become available. Let me know (on my talk page) if you have any questions. Cheers, Petros471 10:36, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Sevilla, la grande¡Hola, Asterion! Bien, bien...
:-) --Garcilaso 11:54, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Estoy deseando ver ese reportaje... Un saludo, --Garcilaso 14:19, 28 August 2006 (UTC) Casa de la Contratacion? We appear to have been editing the Casa de la Contratacion pages at the same time. My understanding is that the Casa was not a building, but was a committee which met predominantly in the Alcazares. I believe that the building which you have labelled as "Casa de la Contratacion" (now the Archive of the Indies) was originally built as a covered market and had no initial connection with La Casa? cf. http://www.turismo.sevilla.org/paginas_en/patrimoniomonumentalficha.asp?idpatrimonio=99 Best Wishes User:littlerussell
Un saludo, Bolivian Unicyclist 14:21, 27 August 2006 (UTC) My theory about GibraltarianI think he probably has too much time on his hands - I wouldn't be surprised if he continues to do this 5 years from now. I also believe he is suffering from m:MPOV and that he lacks adequate understanding of WP:V (he claims that his editions represent "the truth") and WP:AGF (he tends to get into flame wars with pretty much everyone who tries to interact with him - not just Ecemaml). Scobell302 18:29, 27 August 2006 (UTC) PS - I also think his behavior is pretty similar to that of Jon-Erik Beckjord. Hasekura TsunenagaThank you for your upload of the Seville Japanese letter on the Hasekura Tsunenaga page! PHG 00:51, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
PicciesHi! Well, perhaps it could be better, but it's most important that you had a great time (I hope!) Don't worry about the Horizon - I don't know whether you have noticed, but we had got a permission from Mr. Stedehouder of the Dutch Garage de'l Est to use all of the car pics from his site, which includes this huge archive. You can find a rather good pic of the Horizon there, and a host of other vehicles (no Spanish cars, though :( ). As concerns the Ronda, I am afraid most of the sources are probably in Spanish too :( - but I will see about that when I am done with the Fiat 130. Somebody "expanded" it with lotsa POV and I now want to clean it up (I had it on my "due" list anyway) so that I could nominate it for DYK :D But first I have to convince the darn Wayback Machine to work again... What kind of work do you have that you can do photoediting stuff while "on duty"? ;) When you're finished with the Seville photos, you might consider helping me upload all the goodies from the garage de'l Est to the Commons and insert them to their respective articles :D I also have to figure out where to get a nice Fiat 130 photo from... I have also dumped a lot of stuff to the Chrysler 180 article, but I guess I turned it into a pile of rubbish... Bravada, talk - 21:26, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

¿Alguna idea? Muchas gracias y un saludo --Ecemaml 12:36, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the warm and encouraging welcomeWanted to let you know that anyway, so have ventured to ask these questions of you here, as I think invited to do in your welcome. Question #1: I am using images obtained from http://www.demis.nl/wms/mapclip.htm, but cannot seem to "tag" Template:PD-Demis (i.e., {{PD-Demis}}): I just get a message that the template doesn't exist yet on a page designed to create it. I've copied over the text on the PD-Demis template to my image description, but I of course would like to do it properly and find out what I'm doing wrong. Question #2: I've made some minor changes (to the 'original' on my computer) to an image after uploading it, and wanted to replace the 'old' image previously uploaded to the Wikipedia site to this new version, but am just told that the image already exists, and to give the image I'm trying to upload a different name. I've read some perhaps old information that I'd be given the option to replace the current image of the same name, or give new a name, but that no longer seems to be the case. If so, what would be the current procedure to change an uploaded image? Thanks for any help with the above. Jauntymcd 17:57, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Esas decisiones de "primary use", "clearly what most ppl will most probably be looking for", etc. irremediablemente reflejan algún punto de vista; aquí, un PdV que favorece lo angloamericano y lo europeo. Arbitration request on KosovoDear Editor, since you have been involved in editing the Kosovo article in the last months, and that article has been the subject of long ongoing edit wars, your name is listed in the Request for Arbitration on this matter. You can make a statement here: Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration#Kosovo. Due to the large number of editors involved, however, I would to ask you to keep your statement concise and to the point. If you feel you have not been substantially involved in the disputes surrounding the Kosovo article, please do not remove your name from the Arbitration request, but rather make a short statement there explaining why you feel you have not been involved enough to be part it. To understand my reasons for requesting Arbitration, please read my statement on the Requests for Arbitration page. Best regards, Cpt. Morgan (Reinoutr) 10:10, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Your comments on Reinoutr's pageI thought your comments on Reinoutr's page were very informative - they're also very relevant to the arbitration proceedings. Could you possibly add them to the arbitration page? -- ChrisO 20:21, 31 August 2006 (UTC) Joint statement of evidence? This case is going to be a rather complex one due to the large number of users involved. I would prefer to simplify the evidence-giving stage to make it easier for the Arbitration Committee - how would you feel about giving a joint statement of evidence? I'm happy to make a start on such a statement, which you'd be free to add to or modify as you wish. -- ChrisO 20:36, 1 September 2006 (UTC) I've no much time know, but I disagree, 1st because that are Noviscun ideas and missinterpretation of what he read on that page. When I have time for that know, I'll return later, but you can see my talk on his talkpage, if you understand Spanish and Portuguese, becaause talking in English. I've no problem with Spain disputing the islands, it would make the islands famous. You should be more caareful, and read about it. Hugs.--Pedro
Advise on Tonycdp?I'll add it to the statement of evidence. I think there's more than enough evidence of misconduct to justify Tonycdp being blocked for a substantial period for a range of violations, including POV-pushing, sockpuppeting, disruption and making personal attacks. In the meantime, I suggest that you raise it at the Wikipedia:Personal attack intervention noticeboard - since I'm involved in the dispute, I can't take action against him myself. -- ChrisO 12:35, 2 September 2006 (UTC) GibraltarianHola Asterion.

(WARNING: Contains Namco references)...my page was actually vandalized by a Korean (I checked the "Against Vandalism" page Wikipedia has and clicked WHO IS for that "flying dicks" vandal). The last thing I need is a confession that Hwang Sung Kyung from the Soul Edge series told that guy to vandalize my own userpage, and I don't think Jun Kazama (or Tekken fans of her) would like it very much, either. Has there ever been any Korean vandals on Wikipedia? --D.F. Williams 17:34, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Re: Sorry,...I didn't read it. --HolyRomanEmperor 08:29, 9 September 2006 (UTC) Edit comment linkingI noticed that a while back (22:27, 18 August 2006), you made an edit on rainbow trout with a comment that included a number of helpful links. What exact text/symbols do you use to create such a comment? (For instance, right here I'd like to be able to link directly to the history page of rainbow trout, but I'm not sure how best to do that.) Thanks. South TyrolHello Asterion, Err, how am I in an "edit war" with User:Supparluca, who I never had any dealings with before? I edited the article on Bozen, the user changed something, so I reverted it, with or without the revert tool. And I am certainly not getting involved in an edit war by any stretch of the imagination, so maybe you could base your statements better? sincerely Gryffindor 21:59, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for reverting that vandalism on my talk page. I talked to User:Supparluca about the issue we had, and he seemed to agree therefore I put in the necessary modifications in the article, so hopefully the issue is settled. I appreciate the attention you give for quality and control on Wikipedia, keep it up and let me know if there is anything I can do for you in return. with kind regards Gryffindor 11:11, 30 September 2006 (UTC) User BokpasaSorry to bother but i really need a helping hand to deal w/ Bokpasa.
