Hi CutOffTies, Thanks for the thumbs up - nice to know work done is appreciated. I might well check out the book you recommend, although at the moment I'm working my way through the official series guide, as there's some good stuff in that too, which could help improve some of the articles.
By a rather circular coincidence, I've just watched Spirit of the Marathon (and very good it was too) after stumbling on the Wikipedia page you wrote on the subject. So good work there. Ah, mutual appreciation, eh. Ain't it grand?

New footnote

Arthur, you should improve the wording in the new footnote you added. It reads: "in 1890 the total population of Rio de Janeiro was 515,559. Of these only 55,861 (10.8% of the total population) were not eligible to vote solely because of their illiteracy". Anyone who reads it will believe that the remaining 460,000 inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro could vote. Well, a valid source would be a mainstream newspaper article, magazine article, or mainstream TV/radio program. However, given that the article's subject is (I presume) not sufficiently notable to have received any mainstream media attention since her beauty pageant days, I presume this won't be possible? As it stands, if you leave the educational info as it is, it will remain in the article but with the [citation needed] tags in place. You can come back later and put acceptable references in if you are able to find any.
I know it all seems a bit draconian, but it's the only way to a) stop people putting self-aggrandizing statements into articles about themselves, and b) stop people from putting libelous statements into articles about people they dislike.

Vandalism

I have recieved messaeges saying I have vandalised some pages. I have never even heard of these pages let alone edited them. This maybe somebody hacking my IP address. These messages date from 2010 when I did not know how to edit Wikipedia.--62.7.92.50 (talk) 12:51, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He's known to have a strong interest in soccer, and Bradford City FC are a fourth tier team who get 10,000 fans in a 25,000 seater, Win Butler has been identified as a potential crowd-puller by the owners.. I can't say what he's privately said to the chairmen of Bradford City but read between the lines. The Football (or Soccer) industry is rather secretive when the manager selection period takes place, so good luck finding a source. True Grit

Hi! Let's review the edit here

Well, the article describes the woman as being "the character's body double" - But then all that means is that your edit should have corrected/clarified the text. I don't see why the entire paragraph was removed. WhisperToMe (talk) 20:48, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think because the particular double actress was interviewed in depth in a major U.S. newspaper about her role, the statement is more important than if it was merely a piece of trivia from a DVD cover. Luis Fortuño 'and' removal

Hello I've just noticed you correctly reversed a nameless contributor's addition of 'and'. I also thought it was a good faith edit on his part, but I am now noticing that he is systematically creating small faulty edits on several articles, and never discusses anything. He seems particularly obsessed with removing ALL instances of 'due to' in favour of 'because of' even when not appropriate. I'd write to him and but he has no talk page. From his multiple contributions this month only, I'd say nearly half of them deserve reversal, but my grammar isn't impeccable either. Would you have a look at his contributions and see if you agree? My name is Joshua and I'm a Master student in History of Art at Paris-Sorbonne University. In order to reply to your message, I would like to say that I consistently change the modifications I guess you have been making in the past few months about the article because I would like to provided with updated ranking information about the university. The QS 2014 ranking results have been published few weeks ago and the university ranks first in France, whereas it was ranked second last year, as you recorded.

On the other hand, I do think that the overall ranking performance you provided with is OK, but is not to be considered "paramount", at least, not to be put first in a introduction paragraph of an article on a university specialized in Arts and Humanities. I hope you understand my point.
