@Archivehindu: If you really think that he is a notable person and meets out notable guidlines such as WP:GNG or WP:AUTHOR please feel free to provide your arguments with reliable secondary sources to keep the article at the AfD. But I can see that the person does not meet notability as no reliable sources found with significant coverage about him or his works. GrabUp - Talk02:37, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:BURDEN, "The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor [YOU] who adds (or restores) material, ... by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution.". YOU added the content, YOU need to source the content. We don't know this author, we don't have a personal interest in the author, and we can't find reliable sources (or really any significant coverage) about this author). As far as we can tell by some initial looking, we aren't seeing much offerings in the way of anything that we can identify as talking about this author. If you want to disagree with the nomination, comment on the AFD discussion there, (not here), and change our minds with evidence to support your view that there is significant, third party sources covering this author. Otherwise, an un/few sourced draft lacking evidence of meeting significant coverage is a nonstarter. Zinnober9 (talk) 12:31, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi@Zinnober9 You have participated in the discussion by nominating AfD for deletion of the Wikipedia page of Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh, an Indian Hindiwriter and notable person mentioned on Wikipedia. I would like to inform you with confidence that you have not checked the Wikipedia page of Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh closely, I would like to draw your attention to the Wikipedia page of Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh that references to many reliable sources have been added on his Wikipedia article which provides many information about Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh and his notable works. You have said that you do not know this author and you do not have any personal interest in this author. You have quoted this, but those people and some media editors who know him have contributed to this Wikipedia page with reliable sources and their views. If you do not know this author and you do not have any personal interest in this author, will you nominate AfD deletion to remove the Wikipedia page of a notable person? I want to tell you that the reliable sources given on this Wikipedia page in which Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh has been mentioned are not any third party source. I am politely telling you that if you have any kind of doubt, then you should once again check the sources and references of this page properly, then it will be right for you to reach the right conclusion. Thank you. Archivehindu (talk) 14:44, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Archivehindu: Which source are you calling reliable? I don’t see any source that is reliable. Please participate in the AfD discussion; your arguments will gain more attention if you post them there. The reason behind the AfD discussion is that if someone like you can provide enough arguments with reliable sources, we can understand why the person meets notability. AfD does not mean just deletion; it means discussing the notability of the subject. If you really want this article to be kept, you should participate in the AfD discussion with a good argument on why the article meets notability criteria like WP:GNG, WP:AUTHOR, or WP:ANYBIO. Please understand we are not here to oppose your work or article, but we can’t see any notability guidelines that this person meets. GrabUp - Talk15:31, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
By "I have no personal interest" I only mean that I am neutral on the matter, and not interested in sitting down to find additional potential sourcing, verify its credibility, or add such to the page. I have other interests, and other strengths. In support of this becoming an article, I gave a precursory look for sources just to see if this author could meet Wikipedia's notability criteria instead of marking it for AFD. After I had done so and found very very little, which gave me three impressions: that this author does not meet notability guidelines, that the sources are not coming up from my English search terms, or that the sources are in books/offline. All equally possible outcomes, and some articles on Wikipedia are very well sourced from offline sources, so online sources are not a sticking point.
But since meeting Notability requirements was in question, starting AFD discussion to determine notability was the next logical step and I found that GrabUp had reached the same conclusion I had reached and started it already.
The majority of sources you've added appear to be blogs (fails due to WP:BLOGS) or are links to the author's own work. While their published works can be a valid source for verifying some portions of the article, his published works do NOT work to satisfy Notability and Notability is the main issue here. Speedy deletion nomination of Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh
Hello Archivehindu,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.
Clarification that this notice was for a speedy for a blank page in Main left after the page was moved to Draft space, and does not interfere or superseded the AFD discussion noted above. No longer an issue, so disregard per this conversation with Harrz. Zinnober9 (talk) 21:32, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Grabup. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hi Archivehindu! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Speederzzz (Talk) (Stalk me) 11:17, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop removing the Article for Deletion template
As long as the AfD discussion is ongoing, you should not remove the template. This is so that people interested in the topic can fight or support deletion when they find the page and it stops people from erroneously opening a second AfD while the first is still open.
I am not involved in the Deletion of this article, so I cannot do anything for you. I simply ask you not to remove the template before the discussion is over.
Please reconsider deleting the Wikipedia page of Hari Ballabh Narayan Singh. He is a distinguished Indian Hindiwriter, essayist, scholar, and former secretary of the Bihar Non-Gazetted Elementary Teachers Union. Deleting his page would undermine valuable cultural and literary contributions. It's crucial to preserve diverse cultural voices on Wikipedia to maintain its integrity as a comprehensive knowledge base. Closing the AfD discussion favorably would uphold Wikipedia's commitment to inclusivity and cultural representation. Thank you for your understanding and thoughtful reconsideration.
Best regards
